I think i have to add a piece here. I met Amb Wigwe in New york in 2006 at the Nigerian house. I was on a UN board at that time. He was very nice accommodating and always ready to assist us young activists. He even organized a dinner for some of us during the time and what amazed me was that he was the one taking the pictures with his camera despite the fact that we have other juniors Nigerian House staffs there at the dinner. He told us lots of stories including how he graduated from the war college and in fact the IG Ehindero was also there at the dinner including many high profile dignitaries. He was very free, open and i am still in shock to read what the wife said about the situation. I must confess that i am very sad with this whole thing and i pray God vindicate him in this mess. I also want the woman be punished if eventually the investigation reveals all what she said is false. May God help him and Nigeria. |
