I am not on site and I have not seen a WS-C3750V2-24PS-S.
Customer has a stack of 6 x WS-C3750V2-24PS-S and one unit has failed. We do not have a WS-C3750V2-24PS-S spare. Can we replace it with a standard WS-C3750-24PS-S (not V2) switch and be part ofthe stack.
1. Are there any traps gotchas?
2. What about IOS versions - aren't they different for V2 switches
3. Are the stack ports and stack cables same for both WS-C3750V2-24PS-S and WS-C3750-24PS-S
4. What is the main reason for bringing out the V2 switches. What features do they have extra?

We are in the interest of replacing our switches to Huawei switches but have difficulty to find good comparisons to what we currently use.
Our current switches are HP 2910al-24G-PoE and our provider informed us that the new model is HP 2920-48G-POE+
Could you please guide me in the correct direction on which Huawei equivalent switch I can use? Our requirements are at least VLAN capability / Layer 3 capability and PoE as we use Voice/IP phones and attached desktops and laptops.

I have verified it and it is possible by upgrading license on WS-C3750X-48T-L - product number is L-C3750X-48-L-S. It will allow me to upgrade WS-C3750X-48T-L to IP Base so that I can stack them with WS-C3750X-12S-S.

I have a couple of WS-C3750X-48T-L and a couple of WS-C3750X-12S-S, I want to stack all four of them together into a single stack.
WS-C3750X-12S-S are running c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-58.SE2 whereas WS-C3750X-48T-L are running c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-55.SE3.
I have got a couple of queries as under:
What are the options to achieve putting all these 4 switches into a single stack?
Can the LAN Base switches upgraded to IP Base? If yes, what would be the procedure?

Hi all, I would like to know WS-C2960-48TT-L has 2 1000BaseTX or 1000BASE-T ports?
As I know this standards are different, and 1000BaseTX need a CAT6E cable to operate.
show run says that:Gi0/2 notconnect 1 auto auto 10/100/1000BaseTX
but in some places are said that "1000BASE-T ports: RJ-45 connectors, 4-pair Category 5 UTP cabling"
Where is the truth?

I bought a WS-C2960X-48LPD-L Cisco Catalyst 2960 Switches last week, but our equipments require more bandwidth to connect, what GE SFP module does WS-C2960X-48LPD-L support while I need to use Optical port?
