dont include references number, just write your app number and click on pay with card... It will send you new Ref number..

Hello guys, i lost my phone (xioami redmi note 5) on 12th friday of this month and i was able to get the phone back this last week friday.
It was not easy at all, i was able to recover it through tracking of the phone from my mi account, involving of police and all that. It is a long story sha. What i can just say is that the phone security lock is wow, even after those guys wipe the phone, try to install another rom on the phone, hard flashing and all that the phone was still asking for my mi password. All thanks to God and those that help in the process of searching for the phone ( Thanks Noobody and others too).
Now i am enjoying my phone again.

Remove ur sim tray...
Get a tweezer or copper wire bend it so it hav two points..

so i have downloaded d Chinese rom.. But how do i install it, now that my phone is not bricked

lavenderjade fibonacci2526 should i request for bootloader unlock? I heard it takes 2weeks or so..(You guys should not be angry with all the questions)..and correct place to download the rom first

yes, it will support OTA updates if left with the Chinese rom it came with na.

The issue here is that redmi 6pro doesn't have global rom and you should be damn sure that any seller that promises such is looking at a shop rom for you. No one gives what is non-existent na. You could have gotten it with the Chinese rom with playstore installed, uninstall all the Chinese apps that may come with it, they're useless as you have their English equivalents on playstore, download SwiftKey keyboard and you're smooth.
Next time, when you're not crystal sure of something, ask. Info is free here.

On moving out of the shop rom you have, I wouldn't know the test point method lavenderjade has been talking of because people have moved from shop rom to global rom in the past without test point.
However, you have no option of global rom as redmi 6pro doesn't have official global rom, for now at least
Official Chinese or custom roms are your options

the back camera is wonderful..the portrait is nice ..front cam does portrait too..but the front camera at night no flash,so except you use maybe snapchat or WhatsApp or apps that shine bright light on face you wouldn't see with the front cam at night...but the back is still good at night.

The seller has installed fake global rom for u... If the bootloader is not unlocked bfr it comes here ..my dear sorry is ur case... With dat rom if u update ur fone wl b bricked.. The only solution is for u to open d back of d phone and do testpoint to flash a good rom inside..i experienced dis january and learnt testpoint bfor d fone came to nigeria ..

so it will brick even if the update is showing on my phone? Like it's disturbing me to update ,posted a pic of it

If you are getting an update prompt,it shows the seller actually flashed the official global ROM on your device.

Don't try it, what you have is a fake rom. Since redmi 6 pro has been launched in India, there will be soon a way to download the global ROM.
