The President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government agreed to release N88billion for the compensation of victims of the Nigeria/Biafra civil war, as well as for completion of demising and destruction of abandoned explosives within the South-East, South-South and North Central regions of the country. It earmarked N50bn of the budget for compensation of the victims, and the remaining N38bn of the budget for the ammunition destruction, rehabilitation of public buildings affected by the war of 30 months between 1967 and 1970. The government has a data of 493 victims of the war for the compensation although the criteria for the enumeration that gave rise to the number is not known. The affected states are the five states in the South-East zone – Imo, Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi, and Enugu; four states in South-South – Akwa-Ibom, Rivers, Delta, Cross River; and one North Central state – Benue. |

The code of of conduct for public officers allows only for you to practice farming. President Buhari is a law abiding citizen, that has no other business aside farming. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on the other hand acquired substantial shares in INTELS in clear conflict of his duties as a Customs Officer whilst in office. Those shares would have belonged to the Nigerian people by now. He has ran a monopolistic company called INTELS all these years, ripping off the Nigerian people and the Nigerian State. |
• There are 15,000 abandoned projects in the South-East, 11,000 in the South-South, 10,000 in the South-West, 6,000 in the North-West, 7,000 in the North-Central, 5,000 in the North-East and 2,000 in Abuja. • The Mono Rail Project in Rivers State meant to ease transportation was initiated by the PDP cost $50 billion and was to cover a 12km distance but was abandoned at 2.6km. On the other hand, the Buhari administration completed the reconstruction of the Abuja airport runway in just 6 weeks (the scheduled period) • In Niger State, the Minna Airport City and Minna Five Star hotel were awarded at $600 million and N19.6 billion consecutively and were both abandoned. • A committee set up by the PDP administration 8 years ago reported that even if the government did not begin any new projects, it would take more than five years of budgeting at least $1.5 trillion annually to complete the abandoned ones. • It would cost N12 trillion to complete all abandoned projects across the country provided there are no cost overruns or further delays. • The award of most contracts under the PDP administration did not follow due process and none of these contractors were held liable when the projects were abandoned. • By May 2019, Buhari would have completed four standard gauge railway projects in four years (Abuja-Kaduna, Abuja Metro, Itakpe-Warri, Lagos-Ibadan) while the PDP did not complete even one single standard gauge railway project in 16 years.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar latest adventure in trying to stand shoulder-to-shoulder in matters of integrity with President Muhammadu Buhari is a political suicide mission from which we thought his handlers would have tried to steer him away. But alas! They have decided to test the waters. Locally and internationally President Muhammadu Buhari stands several miles away from Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in matters of integrity. When the President used all his life in public office building a reputation and a name, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar used all his life in public office to build mansions and acquire personal wealth. Now Judgment Day has come when the credentials needed by the Nigerian people for the highest office are not the buildings and wealth but the simple quality of integrity. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar cannot eat his cake and have it. |
If you are wondering what President Buhari has achieved while in power, here are a few achievements just against terrorism. He's truly a man of integrity. • Buhari has funded the military more than any other Nigerian president in history. • Communications Minister, Adebayo Shittu, says that if not for Buhari, Boko Haram would have invaded even Lagos. • Buhari established the Multi-National Joint Task Force with Chad, Niger, Cameroon and Benin to fight against Boko Haram. • 13,000 Boko Haram hostages have been freed, including 106 Chibok Girls and 105 Dapchi Girls abducted in 2014 and 2018. • Buhari transferred eight helicopters from his presidential air fleet to the Nigerian Air Force as a show of support. • In 2016, the Buhari administration arrested Khalid Al-Barnawi, one of the most wanted terrorists in the world who had a $6m bounty placed on him by the US. • Amodu Salifu, a leader of an ISIS-affiliated terrorist group was arrested in Nigeria while plotting to bomb foreign embassies. • The Nigerian Air Force Quick Response Wings were established in Benue, Nasarawa and Taraba states in addition to the deployment of Special Forces to those at-risk regions. • Buhari cancelled his plans to visit the troops fighting against Boko Haram in Maiduguri and Borno States on the 28th of November, 2018 to encourage them and boost their morale |
What a corrupt leader |
In February, 2017, investors confidence in Nigeria remained high as the $1 billion Euro bond issued by the Federal Government was over-subscribed with orders in excess of $7.8 billion. In November, 2017, Nigeria raised $3 billion in a two-part international bond sale as it funded a fiscal deficit and reduced its local-currency debt burden. In November, 2018, the Federal Government raised $2.86 billion in a three-series international bond under its Global Medium Term Note Programme with an excess order booking of over US$9.5 billion Nigeria also successfully raised its external debt requirements for the 2018 budget at a cost considerably lower than many of its peers across Sub-Sahara Africa |
That goes the same for people that wants to vote for a criminal and a corrupt leader. #TeamBuhari Angelparadise: |
And how exactly is that? because from what i see Nigeria has always been this way thanks to the corrupt leaders that have ruled for over 16years. Would you rather have a criminal as your president? Alphafeezay: |
Poverty has always been in Nigeria, President Buhari is not the cause of extreme poverty and you don't expect him to just make things better in a little amount of time when he is not a magician. Rome wasn't built in a day. Fighting corruption is a step closer to making Nigeria better and he has done a very good job. Don't deny that and give the man the credit he deserves please. Shelumiel: |
Apart from saving $500m in the Sovereign Wealth Fund and investing another $500m in the Sovereign Wealth Fund, the country’s external reserve presently stands at $35bn, which is the highest in the past four years. According to the President, the Federal Government has saved about N18bn within one year after the establishment of an Efficiency Unit under the Federal Ministry of Finance in early 2016 to reduce wastage, plug leakages and foster greater fiscal transparency. The Presidency also stopped the siphoning of funds through ghost workers by insisting that all Ministries, Departments and Agencies must be on the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System in all tiers of government and mandated the use of Bank Verification Numbers. |
For the umpteenth time, President Muhammadu Buhari has affirmed that the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents have been defeated in the North East region of the country. Buhari made the statement at Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, while flagging of 2019 presidential campaign of All Progressive Congress (APC). The President maintained that the insurgents have been dislodged from Borno and Kebbi States which were their major strongholds before he came into power. He also made it known that Nigerians would always be informed on the progress being made to recover stolen funds and that ‘’Nigerians wont regret voting us into office”. He noted that his administration has delivered on his promises in 2015 hinged on security, economy and fighting corruption and urged the electorate to give him another term in office to consolidate on his achievements. National leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu took a swipe at former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, describing his comment on the 2019 budget as ‘’shallow and full of contradictions”. He reiterated that it was only the APC government that would give hope to the Nigerian people and called on the electorate to re-elect him and other candidates of the party across the country. He said: “To bring that hope, strong determination, we are building on a new foundation and that foundation is for you, the youths, the elderly, and tomorrow’s children. Fight for your future, rise and fight corruption. Fight the 16 years that gave you 16 years of darkness. If only the PDP would have concentrated on one thing only, electricity, without which there can be no industrialization, without which there can be no development, it would have been better. They said they want to come back. We are not bringing you back. No backward move in Nigeria, no backward move in Akwa Ibom. Corruption is the greatest enemy, and the cancer of development in this country. We will continue to fight it, renew the hope of Nigerians and build a greater nation” National Chairman, Adam Oshiomhole, accused the People’s Democratic Party of engaging in mudslinging instead of campaigning on issues, blaming the PDP for putting in economic predicament. ‘’PDP has already put Nigeria on notice that Atiku will sell NNPC. And South-South will not support a government that will privatize our resources”, he said. National Vice Chairman, South-South, Ntufam Hilliard Etta , prayed that Buhari should defeat Atiku, stating that Buhari has revolutionized the Agriculture sector and also reeled out other achievements such as the school feeding programme, construction of the second Niger Bridge, roads, railways and the increase of Police salary. ‘’He is doing so much . First they wanted our lion dead , he did not die , he became stronger. Then they coined a story that our lion is a Jubril from Sudan ,but their enterprise failed”, he said. Also speaking, Director General, Buhari Campaign Organisation, Rotimi Ameachi said, “ I am sure that Nigerians have not heard me for a very long time and the reason you have not heard me is that you don’t talk when you are busy. We have been relatively busy in the past four years. “About this time four years ago we were running round the country begging Nigerians to change the leadership of the country. We promised just three things. We promised to improve the economy, to enhance security, and we promised to fight corruption. Anybody who said we promised that fuel prize will fall must be a magician. We are not voodoo economists. It was very clear what was wrong. We got in and saw the challenges; we never knew that they had stolen all the money. “ And when we got in we were mindful of the promises that we made. We commenced that action, believing that Nigerians will know that changes don’t come easily. Nigerians know that before we came to power as governor of Rivers state I could not sleep in Kano, because Kano , Abuja were attacked. Since we have been in government till now attack had been in Borno, not outside Borno. So have we made any improvement in security? The answer is yes. “When we came, things were extremely bad. The factors that we met in terms of economy led to economic recession. We didn’t have a choice but to fight that economic recession. World Bank said that we will not come out of the recession till after three years, we came out of recession after ten months. We promised to fight corruption, are we fighting corruption, the answer is yes. For his part, Senator Godswill Akpabio commended the President for choosing the state to flag off the campaign and gave the assurance that the party would sweep the zone, noting that ‘’this election is all about integrity”. ‘’It is all about integrity versus others. He has integrity to run. We are going to run this election on the basis of development. . They should hand over”, he said. The high point of the rally was the presentation of the party flags to the four governorship candidate of the South-South, namely, Obong Nsima Ekere, Akwa Ibom state; Senator John Eno, Cross River, Chief Great Ogboru, Delta and Arc. Tony Cole, Rivers State. |
President Buhari after being assigned as President in 2015, restructured and re-organized the Nigerian Military, and deployed the military in aid of civil security to restore peace and security to the people. He laid the ghost of militancy to permanent rest as a result of the fear of constant violence, kidnappings and payment of ransoms on oil workers which compelled the relocation of headquarters of International Oil Companies (IOCs) outside the Niger Delta to Lagos and other safer locations in Southern Nigeria. With President Buhari in power, we cant deny the fact that the North West is now a persona non grata for armed criminals that made major highways unsafe by ambushing passengers or commercial vehicles and murder commuters in cold blood and dissipate unmolested. |
Buhari 100% Next level |
Since 2015 when President Muhammadu Buhari came into power, he has made a lot of achievements in different sectors from Power supply to the fight against corruption, security, economy, infrastructure, agriculture, to mention but a few, compared to 16 years of PDP in power. Below are some of his achievements in the Agriculture sector; - The Anchor Borrowers’ Programme which was aimed at fast-tracking access of rural farmers to finance productivity. it was a success as it made available N82billion in funding to 350,000 farmers of rice, wheat, maize, cotton, cassava, poultry, soy beans and groundnut who have cultivated about 400,000 hectares of land. - Provision of agricultural credit for financing the production of rice, wheat, ginger, maize and soybeans in Kebbi, Niger, Kaduna, Kano, Enugu, Benue, Zamfara, Anambra and Kwara States was made available. -The sub-sectors of the economy experiencing negative growth has fallen from 29 sub-sectors for the whole of 2016 to 16 in Q1 2017 under Buhari administration. The Growth in manufacturing has however returned to positive territory after five quarters of negative growth, with growth by 1.36% in Q1 2017 after falling to -7.0% in Q1 2016. - Nigeria's priority Sectors of Agriculture and Solid Minerals improved in performance, in spite of the recession. The country's Agriculture in 2016 grew by 4.11%, while Solid Minerals recorded a 7% increase. However in 2016 The contribution of the Ministry of Solid Minerals’ to the Federation Account tripled to about N2 billion from N700m in 2015. - The Home Grown Feeding Programme which is designed to put an end to importation and market monopoly of farm produce that can be grown here in our country which is a pilot vehicle to sustainable economic, agricultural, academic and job creation across the length and breadth of our nation.

You don’t have to be a psychologist to see through the phoney personality stunts with which the PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar is desperately struggling to get noticed by Nigerians. Quite apart from the PDP’s legacy of political liabilities that have rendered it an abomination for a return to power, Candidate Atiku’s baggage of political and occupational contraband just cannot get clearance from Nigerians whose eyes have been shining with renewed focus on best attributes of the leader the nation needs since President Buhari’s 2015 emergence changed the agenda radically. Suddenly, Atiku Abubakar has become a fanciful dancer, shifting and shunting his retired and tired body with visible stress that raises eyebrows and heart beats of surprised spectators. Amazingly, Atiku Abubakar has gate-crashed into the youthful constituency, donning face caps and T-shirts and cajoling his grandchildren to adopt him as an “uncle” instead and let him take them back 16 years. He has even gone to the extent of mesmerizing his relentless tormentor, with a little help from marabouts, no doubt, and turned the predator of his political fortunes into an unapologetic promoter of his last-ditch presidential bid! Atiku Abubakar has therefore grabbed the guts to manipulate our collective memory and hoodwink the gullible into actually seeing him and his polluted party as the sole solution to the still lingering myriad problems dumped on the Buhari Administration in 2015. But all right-thinking Nigerians reflecting on these articulated improbabilities, will realize that they are all outcomes of Atiku’s inordinate ambition to rule Nigeria by all means necessary as the icing on the personal cake he has been baking at the national bakery since he was unceremoniously catapulted from provincial to vice-presidential orbit in 1999. Since then, we have been witnessing Atiku Abubakar’s comprehensive capacity for make-believe, including but not limited to the attempted political subordination of Nigeria’s presidency by gang-up of governors and when that was subsequently squelched by sheer resurgence of presidential political prowess, a tug-of-personal-wars ensued with deleterious impact on the national treasury, not to mention judicial jingoism. This time around, unfortunately, the mental capacity has been outstripped by the dizzying demands of manipulative make-believe which exceeded all our expectations of disarticulated political scheming and intrigue. Atiku’s memory is the main casualty and the flurry of falsehoods flowing forth from his severely serialized political consciousness is telling, to put it mildly. Atiku, in a disoriented quest for relevance, lied about calling the wife of slain Lt.Col Ibrahim Sakaba until the wife, Seun, denied it asking, “Why the lies? I have not received any call from Atiku please.” He claimed EFCC raided his children’s home until the EFCC debunked it; he claimed he was not invited to the Peace Accord signing ceremony, until Rev. Hassan Kukah produced an acknowledged copy of the invitation letter to expose the lie; the social media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mrs. Lauretta Onochie, exposed yet another documented Atiku lie about being an orphan whereas in his book, MY LIFE, Atiku said his mother died in 1984 when he was 38 years old, prompting Lauretta to wonder “what’s the point of this lie”? Alhaji Atiku did not tell Nigerians the truth in the policy document he said he intends to execute during his two terms of four years each, forgetting his promise to Ndigbo of serving only one term. Even on corporate matters, Atiku’s tax returns did not tally with his claim of having about 200 thousand staff on his payroll. At this rate, Nigerians who are alarmed by the extent and frequency of the falsehoods from Atiku Abubakar should take consolation and seek protection of their nation from the unthinkable consequences of an Atiku Presidency by using their PVC to reboot Atiku’s memory at the February polls in case he believes his party’s lies about Nigerians forgetting Atiku’s personal and occupational contraband. That should be sufficient protection from the avalanche of lies that will surely be an embarrassing feature of an Atiku Presidency. |
