This past Saturday precisely...We attended one of my cousins traditional marriage ceremony....we dined and wined with our other family members....I was even privileged to meet some of my cousins and other family relatives that I didn't know before.. Well,

okay, at least you're better than those that don't visit at all.

Yesterday, My uncle came around and took us to our village.

It isn't far from the metropolis, just an hour and half drive.

As usual we brought clothes, perfumes, food and gave them money also, they were very happy to see us, gave us Fura(Fulani's delicacy).

Had a very good time with them, we gisted and strolled to the Village's stream.

We came back around evening, I wanted to post yesterday but I was very tired.

So, When last did you visit your Village?

Thank you, I think JQuery is very easy to grasp if one is solid in vanillaJS, so that's checked already, I dunno about MySQL though.

If you intend to create WordPress themes then you'd have to learn the required languages and apply them to WordPress development.

For easy management by people who are not technically, it's better building using CRMs like WordPress then infusing all your coding skills into it to make it better.

Dangote's website is built on WordPress software but the theme and some many features are custom-coded. Even BBC too.

I'm very comfortable with HTML, CSS and Javascript, just started learning react recently, my plan is, after I'm done with react, I'll jump into php, then wordpress.

I've read about Jamstack but not in-depth though, seems the journey will be long though.

If it's a three page website to showcase services, portfolio or a blog, I'd rather use wordpress than to build from scratch.

Because it gets the work down efficiently and gives client maximum control on the site, scalability also, maybe later if there's need to extend the site's features.

I really want to learn wordpress, I've seen a lot of remote wordpress jobs on LinkedIn, especially for those that can create themes and plugins from scratch.
