The Department of State Services, DSS has taken the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, into custody hours after he was suspended from Office by President Bola Tinubu.

In an official statement, Peter Afunanya the Spokesperson for the DSS said: “The Department of State Services (DSS) hereby confirms that Mr. Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), is now in its custody for some investigative reasons”.
