Sega has finally revealed the details on the release of
Valkyria Revolution in Western territories via PlayStation
Blog, with the United States getting the game on June 27th
and European countries on June 30th. Revolution is a spin
off of the Valkyria Chronicles series, which mixes classic RPG gameplay with touches of strategy. The game will be
released on PS4, PSVita and Xbox One.

Nintendo's president says revenue from Super Mario Run
was lower than expected, but he insists pay-to-play mobile
games are here to stay at the gaming giant.

In an interview with the Nikkei Asian Review, Tatsumi
Kimishima said the mobile game's earnings "did not meet
our expectations." Super Mario Run, the first mobile game to feature Nintendo's star character, is free to download, but only a limited amount of content is free-to-play. To unlock the full game, players must pay US $10 / £10 / AU $15.

By the end of January, the game hit a whopping 78 million downloads on iOS only, but only 5% of players had purchased the full
game.

April Xbox Live Games With Gold Titles Accidentally

The two Xbox One Games With Gold titles for April look to be Ryse: Son of Rome and The Walking Dead Season 2. Ryse:
Son of Rome was a launch title for the Xbox One and was
one of the games to really show off the graphical prowess of
current-gen consoles when it came out. The Walking Dead
Season 2 is great for those that already played through
Season 1 and never got a chance to get 2, which is even
better with it being in the middle of the third season
currently.

Xbox 360 also has two solid games with Darksiders and
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Darksiders was definitely one
of the more underrated games of last-gen and is one that
definitely is worth checking out. Assassin’s Creed:
Revelations is the conclusion to the Ezio trilogy of games
and while not as good as the first two in the trilogy, it is still
a very good game.
