If u say u have driven for upto 3years and you are still complaining about rider discounts eating into your earnings, then ur level of comprehension is quit low. U would have just jejely accepted ur rookie tag than show everyone ur level of IQ.
If u do a 10k trip and u are asked to collect 5k, the balance N2,500 will be paid to u by Bolt, same way they pay u your money if u do a card trip. Don't forget your money in a 10k is approximately N7,500 and bolt takes N2,500. So if they are asking u to collect N6,300 and u are crying for your balance of N700, have u forgotten u owe Bolt even more than N700 in commission after doing a trip of 7k? The lesser rider discounts you have, the more frequently u will have to pay money into Bolt bank account to reduce your negative balance for their commission. Are u one of those guys who will never do a card trip because u think u have driven for free?
Don't worry about Bolt discount to riders, what you should worry about is either Bolt reduces their commission or increases the fares. That's what puts more money in your pocket.

You were already abusive by calling me a rookie which is dumb of you as I am obligated to air my complains after driving on the app for three years now. If bolt wants to award bonuses it should be subtracted from their commission instead while I get the full payment as the payment is even not enough. Imagine driving for an hour after showing 7k+ on the app I'm getting 6300 as the final fare which normally the 7k fare isn't even enough. Why can't I get the full payment from the rider while the commission on the trip is deducted without affecting the initial fare

All Uber prices are fixed. That's how I picked a rider on Uber at Ikeja and less than 10 minutes into the trip, Lastma bursted my two tyre with their spike.

I got to a place and stopped and the rider asked me to end the trip that they are in a hurry. I ended the trip and Uber asked the rider to pay 6800 for a trip that lasted 14 minutes, 3.8km. The trip was from Ikeja to VI and I ended it right there at Ikeja and Uber is asking the rider to pay the same amount they would have used to get to VI.

The rider just transferred 2k to me, booked another ride this time on Bolt and left. I made the rider to understand that the fixed price could work against the driver in a situation where there is serious traffic.

I reported to Uber and got my money back.
