Politics / Nigerians Beware And Be Warned!!! by Hamzat4Truth: 2:36pm On Jan 25, 2015
Nigerians BEWARE of a military wolf in civilian sheep’s clothing; WE SAY NO!
We say NO to an evil tyrannical military general in deceptive ‘agbada’.
We say NO to rescinding our nation back to the cold days of military dictatorship and decadence.
We say NO to a brutal fundamentalist and aggressive anarchist.
We say NO to a dangerously renowned religious fanatic and tribal extremist.
We say NO to a masked sympathizer and exponent of insurgency.
We say NO to an impenitent advocate of treason, mutiny and public disorder.
We say NO to a depraved enemy of women empowerment.
We say NO to a career harbinger of deceit, lies, hate and demagoguery.
We say NO to an oppressor, suppressor, depressor; the Nigerian nightmare.
We say NO to a cruel killer of joy, freedom of speech and the Nigerian dream.
We say NO to an ogre that is Brutal, Uncouth, Hopeless, Aggressive, Retrogressive and Insensitive (BUHARI).
We say NO to Asiwaju Political Company (APC).

Mr. Buhari, Nigerians can never forget your hateful atrocities. You may have the power of insurgency and campaign of calumny but we have the power of our votes. We will vote you out yet again come February 2015.

Nigerians shine your eyes, shine am well well.
Vote Wisely

Politics / Good News Is That Buhari Will Never Be President Of Nigeria by Hamzat4Truth: 2:15pm On Jan 24, 2015
The race to the 2015 general elections is on full gear as political actors crisscross the length and breadth of the country canvassing for support. For the presidential election, the key contenders are Jonathan/Sambo (PDP) versus Buhari/Tinubu (APC). Your inkling is as good as mine that the defacto APC vice presidential running mate is Tinubu; Osibanjo is merely a figure head and a decoy. As rightly averred by Chief Fani-Kayode, the February 2014 presidential poll is a struggle between light and darkness; Buhari representing not just darkness, but gross darkness and Jonathan representing bright light.

Besides it has become Buhari’s gambit to gun for pastors as his running mate and appear in church services, (with his cap on), as the poll approaches. In the 2011 presidential election, he fielded a pastor, Tunde Bakare, and now another pastor, Osibanjo. It is fool hardy for a radical Islamic fundamentalist of bad renown to think that identifying with pastors and churches during elections would make him saintly-appealing to the Nigerian Christian community. Buhari’s fashion of fundamentalism is terrorist-like and his fanatical ideologies are much of a muchness with Islamic terrorist groups world over today. Little wonder he has been fingered incessantly as one of the furtive supporters and sympathizers of the Boko Haram cause to decimate Nigerians and islamize Nigeria. More so, reason why he was recently publicly endorsed and backed by the notorious terrorist group, MEND.

It is thus hilarious that those that set and stoke the fire of insurgency are those coming around, saying they got fire extinguishers to put out the fire they set; but that the extinguisher comes at a cost to Nigerians – the Presidency. It is indeed shameful and sad. Buhari said he will summon a meeting of serving and retired generals to help solve the problem of insurgency if elected, but he does not need to be elected to do so. So much for a supposed elder statesman, with all the noise about him curbing the Maitaitsine group in the 80s.

World over, true patriots and progressives contribute their quota to nation building from the sidelines without necessarily being in the saddle of power. That is the beauty of great countries where desperate times did call for desperate cohesion, regardless of political leanings. With the APC, the country’s desperate times are their savoured openings to sell cheap political points and destroy the very fabric of our nationhood. Little wonder their activities and campaigns are entirely centered on calumny, callous demagoguery, blackmail and incitement of public malady.

Nigerians must not be fooled, not in the least. It is evident enough that since inception of President Jonathan’s administration, it has been cannon of hot balls and unrest hurled at him by some parochial enemies of Nigeria’s progress. His sins simply being that he’s Ijaw by tribe, from a minority geopolitical region, South-South. One bitter truth that Nigerians are bereaved of is that if Nigeria still had as her president, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua or another Notherner, this whole boko haram nonsense would not have been this raging and extreme. The nexus between the emergence of the Jonathan presidency and the drastic escalation of insurgency in the northern part of the country undeniably exposes the hate script (with deadly scenes), written and directed by an evil bloc of coward anti-south, anti-Jonathan elements. Boko Haram is only acting the script of this ruthless and retrogressive bandwagon that is against a southern president. It is a political tool and the insurgency arm of the APC, reason why the APC rose against the proscription of the sect.

We must acknowledge that one good thing a non-northern presidency has done for our beloved country since the days of Obasanjo in 1999, is give every other Nigerian who is not a northerner, a sense of right belonging in his country. Now you can have southerners as permanent secretaries, director generals, occupying sensitive ministerial portfolios and other good positions. Now a southerner can legitimately be awarded contracts, execute big projects, get highly placed jobs etc, without speaking hausa or wearing a caftan. This even suffices as enough reason to keep Jonathan there. At least that ‘born to rule’ mentality and attitude has, to a great extent, been rubbished.

I am a northerner, hence not against a northern presidency, but things must be done aptly and with common sense. The commonsensical truth is that the appropriate time for a northern presidency is May 29, 2027. How? Since Obasanjo (South-West) had 2 terms of 8 years, it is only fair that Jonathan (South-South) gets a second term which will end 2019. Then the South-East gets their own fair share of 2 terms of 8 years, which expires 2027, following which a Northerner, (definitely not Buhari or Atiku), can take the saddle then. No geo-political area is superior or inferior to the other. Fairness in rotation should be the game.

It is repugnant to hear the APC accuse the PDP-led federal government of corruption, claiming they will stamp out corruption. What a fable! That is akin to the devil himself accusing a witch of wickedness or pot calling kettle black. Nigerians are not amnesia-sick. It is no longer hidden by the APC that a Buhari presidency is a Tinubu presidency, and Tinubu connotes torrential corruption. Tinubu’s stark obscenities are inseparable from him. His escapades as Governor are terrible and damaging. If you microscopically and macroscopically examine the Asiwaju, you will see a man desperately in need of oil wells; an obsessed man desperately in need of calling the shots at the highest form of governance – The Presidency, regardless of whose ox is gored or whose head rolls. His jostle for a Buhari presidency is entirely egocentric and not in the interest of Nigeria, as his intents are entirely divorced from bettering the lots of Nigerians. APC is simply an ‘Aggressive Party of Corruption (APC)’, as the party parades in its polluted hall of fame, a coterie of corrupt denizens including Governors Rotimi Amaechi, Timipre Sylva, Rochas Okorocha, and a host of other corrupt-natured politicians.

Let’s for a split second imagine Buhari is a saint and means well for Nigeria, the Tinubus of the world around him will never avail him the space to mete out his good intent. That is assuming Buhari is a saint and means well for Nigeria, which is not even the case; he’s a daredevil. The legendary Wole Soyinka shares same view on this point, that even if the ‘poor’ Buhari so desires to work, the ‘long throats’ around him would be a clog on the wheels of progress. That is why I would rather have a Jonathan-for-life-presidency, than have a Buhari on the job for a split-second.

The noise about Buhari’s integrity which has become APC’s latched-on selling point for the retired and tired ex-general is rather hilarious and illusory. The claims of integrity are spurious and nauseating; an utter bunkum! Is a made-up poverty claim synonymous with integrity? Are lies, (that he took a loan to purchase the APC forms), now tantamount to integrity? Is perjury, (lying under oath that his credentials were with the Nigerian Army) now same as integrity? Can a religious bigot and tribal jingoist who was immorally selective and biased in justice as head of state when he jailed southern politicians and treated his northern counterparts with kid gloves be said to be a man of integrity? Can you mistake an insurgence sympathizer for a man of veracity? Haba! He claimed not to have coveted Nigeria’s penny but under his watch as Head of State and PTF Chairman, his associates and cronies had their unbridled way with monumental stealing and corruption. Who is deceiving who? Of course, Nigerians can’t keep being fooled by this insidious fallacy.

In the most egregious of ways, the APC publicity secretary, Alhaji Lai ‘Lier’ Mohammed has allowed his poisoned adrenaline fire him beyond the rubrics of decency. The man is simply a gross and alarmist publicist, flexing his uncouth brawn. He has ensconced himself in sheer ludicrousness as one of Asiwaju’s stooges. His inordinate and vitriolic statements are a macabre echo of an outraged fiend and a despicable poltroon. By his venomous censure and violent denunciations, he has done greatly in exposing the ‘Asiwaju Political Carcass’ acronym APC; thanks to his loutish and boorish characterization. For a flummoxed party that appears to have mastered the art of malfeasance, it is becoming inescapably decipherable why their ideology bothers around mutiny, treason and anarchy. We can only pray that God salvages us from their blood-bathed hands.

We must live up to the barefaced truth that Buhari has nothing to offer but vindictiveness, callousness and islamization of Nigeria. I wonder what a septuagenarian is still looking for in active politics when his revered mates in other climes play reputable advisory roles. Buhari obviously forbids the term ‘younger generation’. He is not a man of the masses as unpopularly canvassed by the APC; rather he’s popular among street urchins.

His manifesto promises women empowerment but I wonder how he, a potent ‘sharia’ proponent, proposes to empower Nigerian women when he has subjected his wife to dismal solitude; charity they say, begins at home. His talk of scrapping the office of the first lady exposes to the world, his intrinsic fundamentalist being – how much he devalues and lowly esteems his wife and women in general. It brashly portrays his blatant ignorance and militarist ethos, and portends ominous signals for the future of our women. Nigerian women must rise against this evil genius.

Buhari symbolizes frustration, oppression, desecration and deprivation. He is an evil Fulani ex-general ogre, a tribal and Islamic fanatic, not to be trusted the least bit by Nigerians because a leopard never changes its colour. I feel a deep sense of pathos for his grotesque and unimpressible persona as he plumbs the abyss of self-degradation. It thus suffices to underscore that there is no ground for comparison between General Buhari and President Goodluck Jonathan. The former is simply hell-raised, and the latter, God-sent.

I read with disgust the allusion made by one Dele Sobowale, a die-hard APC stalwart and Buhari apologist, comparing Buhari with Jonathan as Iroko versus rotten wood. Sobowale’s unbridled passion for Buhari, no doubt, has completely befuffled his mental faculty; hence needs urgent neurosurgical and psychiatry help before he runs amok. Buhari unarguably is an evil iroko tree that harbours witches on its branches for satanic meetings and missions. He is not a useful Iroko but an oppressive and obnoxious one that needs to be hewn down to save the forest. President Jonathan’s landslide feats across all sectors, in the face of burgeoning hostilities orchestrated by the APC to frustrate his government, is much to be commended and resonated. His redoubtable and stellar achievements are there for all to see.

Some Nigerians must be careful of what they clamour for. People talk about change, voting for change; quite fallacious! Change to what? Change to worse. Change to fundamentalism, sectionalism and brazen corruption. Change to a democratically dictatorial and anarchist regime. Change to a dog and baboon bloody rule. Change to women seclusion and suppression. Those gunning for change should actually sit down to visualize and critically analyze what a Buhari/Tinubu presidency will look like, albeit impossible for him to become president? Those clamouring for change must be wary of what they wish for, so they don’t cry belatedly when the head is already off.

A man who without remorse or recourse, speaks vehemently of plunging his country into a dog and baboon bloody state if he doesn’t win, is purely satanic and insane. Is that the manner of man we want to hand over the destiny of our beloved country to? God forbid! That will be mortgaging our future to hell. Reality is Buhari’s statements smells abject illiteracy; or is it ill-literacy? Shame he’s an unschooled jackboot.

Buhari has been a serial failure in past elections because Nigerians wisely rejected him at the polls; the February 14 presidential election will definitely be no exception. I won’t be surprised if after failing in the polls in February as widely expected, he shows up again in 2019. He’s a habitual presidential contender and a chronic loser. Perhaps, with cap in hand, he should try for Senate, because good news is that Buhari will never be president of Nigeria.
