Adeleke made a political blunder during the build up to the 2018 election by not reconciling with Iyiola Omisore, a former deputy governor and Adejare Bello, a former state house speaker, the mistake came back to haunt him when the duo dumped the party for APC and Omisore went as far as collapsing his party structure for Oyetola, when it was evident to him that he can't win. Adeleke has again repeated that kind of mistake by sidelining the 'bigwigs' like ex-governor Oyinlola in the party thinking his money would achieve everything for him. These people he's sidelining have experience that can't be bought. Anyway, i wish him goodluck and may the best candidate win.
