@ Op, thank God for your life and those of others spared in the accident. That said, you're doing a very wrong thing at the wrong time, why can't you carry out a first aid treatment on those whose injuries were more severe than yours? That should have been your action instead of turning yourself into a paparazzi.

Statement of result is accepted.. You need to purchase the form asap.. Walk into any keystone bank and obtain your reg pin.. Kindly note that you will also pay 45k for the tablet and 25,850 for 1st semester tuition.. I registerd in ibadan... All the best
Please, is it still possible to register

within this short time? Thanks

Why waste about 4years for a degree you have already? What's the probability you'll finish with an excellent grade there? Unilag MSC form is out, you can go for it. You may even be able to combine work and the programme. How will you live over there without a job and enough cash?
Thanks for your input, the points raised are noted and very much appreciated.

That's the spirit my friend! When you write your motivation letter let me see it so we can make it insightful. I think I am somehow ok with letter writing to a degree. Eke4seven can help you out too if you ask him. He and other ogas here have helped load of folks
Alright, thanks man.

How can you say it's not possible to connect Pure Physics and Environmental Physics with a motivation letter?! One can connect Yoruba with Mathematics convincingly if one want to depending on how bad you want the degree. Nothing is impossible. If you want it go after it! Don't just give up without trying! How do you know a school is not out there looking for a teacher that studied Pure Physics and want to study Environmental physics?! See,"oyinbo" no dey think like that o. Juat try and make your passion "show through' in your motivation letter couple with your work experience and you might even score higher than a second class upper student without work experience. Try and read the selection criteria of some schools then you will see that you stand a chance of being admitted. Just look for a course without quota and a school without too muchmuch competition.

You will never know if you don't try....
Quite expository and thought-provoking. Thanks for your response, I will surely give this a try. Thanks man!

Oh I see...then lemme gv u my view abt Job search here in Germany..you will need at least a masters degree in ur field to get a job because that is what is equivalent with a german diploma.Since you will be competing with alot of pple with diploma or its masters equivalent , to ve a chance at all u need a masters degree...In some fields..to get a good paying job u may need a phd degree ( Common in natural sciences exceptions: IT and Engineering. I ve no idea what goes on on the other side cc social sciences and arts) still be employed as a graduate trainee ( no industrial experience) ..Because education is almost free pple tend to take advantage ( or abuse depends on ur view) of the system.

All the best bro....

PS: Phd is viewed as a job in Germany.
Thanks for this insightful response. I can now see that it's a sheer waste of time going for another Bachelors degree programme. I would be on the lookout for schools within and outside the shores of Nigeria where I can do my Masters programme. Thanks bro...

@ Kalan, is there any masters programme in Environmental Engineering?
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by harbey19: 12:04pm On Jun 14, 2015
Thanks @ Cindino, I'm a graduate of Pure Physics from one of the most reputable Federal Universities here in Nigeria. As much as I can say, my job as a teacher is secured. The fact is that I want a job where what I studied in the university can be put into practice. I want to study something relating to Environmental Physics or Environmental Engineering, so you see that my experience in the teaching profession won't fit into writing a motivation letter for my intended course of study. All the same, I really appreciate your response.

I don't think it is wise for you to do another Bsc in Germany. This is considering the financial implications and age no being on your side.

What you could do is apply to Uk Uni as you have the chance of securing admission there. This is if you have saved enough money to see you through. If that is not case, then settle for doing your masters in Nigeria.

Thanks for your sensible contribution, more suggestions from other forum members.

Good day fellow Nairalanders, I am in a dilemma taking a vital decision as regards schooling abroad and I would really appreciate your contributions and suggestions. I am in my late 20s, a teacher by profession and currently earns a monthly salary of over a hundred thousand Naira. I applied to some Universities in Germany for my Masters degree but was rejected as a result of my low CGPA, I made a CGPA of 2.70. Now, I'm considering applying for an Undergraduate degree Programme in Germany, which implies I would have to quit my present job. My question goes thus, what are my chances of securing a good job either in Germany or Nigeria with the newly acquired first degree certificate considering the fact that I would be in my early 30s by the time I complete my Bachelors degree in Germany. Is this a wise decision or should I just go ahead and do a masters programme here in Nigeria since I'm qualified for that? Thank you all!
