The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) management has announced that the 2019 Batch C Stream 1 orientation exercise will commence from Tuesday, 5th November 2019 to Monday, 25th November 2019.

Briefing/Sensitization of final year students/ prospective corps members – Monday, 30th September – Sunday, 6th October 2019.
Uploading of Senate/Academic Board approved results for full/part-time graduates and revalidation lists by Corps Producing Institutions – Monday, 14th – Friday 18th October 2019.
2019 Batch ‘C’ Pre-Mobilization Workshop – Monday, 7th – Saturday, 12th October 2019.
Online Registration by both Locally and Foreign Trained Graduates– Monday, 21th – Friday, 1st November 2019.

What is NYSC Stream?
NYSC stream is just the splitting of PCM of the same batch into two. The act of splitting into streams comes into the process due to a large number of graduating students both in Nigeria and foreign students( that is Nigeria citizens studying in another country). As we all know that there are many tertiary institutions all over the country producing graduates that will be mobilized.
All these higher institutions mobilized thousands of graduates that are qualified graduates to partake in the NYSC one year programme. And as we all know that each orientation camp has a limit of PCM that they can accommodate. In other to avoid overpopulation and some issues, the NYSC scheme has no other alternative way than to introduce stream. That was when streams were introduced to make the programme keep going smoothly and peaceful.

No Available Slots Issue is not a new issue, it has always been coming up almost every batch during NYSC online registration, its will get to a certain point in time when PCM will be seeing the word “Sorry, there is no more available state slot for deployment” on their dashboard. What is the NYSC Green Card? The NYSC Green Card is not a card actually, and it is not green in color. It is simply the coloured print-out slip of your NYSC online registration from the NYSC website. This slip clarifies that you have completed your NYSC online registration for mobilization and have paid the necessary fees. All youth corps are required to print the Green Card after completing their online registration. The slip is needed for manual registration at the NYSC camp. Without this document, you will not be allowed to register at the camp.

How the NYSC Green Card does looks like As we have stated above, the NYSC Green Card is a coloured print out slip. The slip will have the letter heading of the National Youth Service Corps, the NYSC logo, the NYSC motto, and the address. The slip should also have a watermark logo of the NYSC at the center of the page. Green Card will contain your personal details such as your full names, date of birth, state of origin, Local Government Area, place of birth, marital status, and any physical challenges. You contact detail will also be on the slip. Your educational qualifications and your NYSC kit specifications will also be indicated on the document. At the bottom of the page, there will be a space for your signature and date.
How to print NYSC Green Card If you have completed your online registration and have made all necessary payments, you can print your NYSC Green Card.

Visit the NYSC portal at portal.nysc.org.ng and log in to your account with your registered email address and password.
On your dashboard, your basic details will be displayed with the “Print Slip” option beneath it. Click on this option.

As 2018 Batch C Stream II Corp members have been waiting patiently for the NYSC management to talk concerning their passing out parade date.

However, the latest circular released and signed by the NYSC management has confirmed that 2018 Batch C Stream II Corp members passing out date is Thursday 31st October 2019

The NYSC 2018 Batch C Stream II Passing out Parade is a day that the National Youth Service Corps management will discharge all NYSC 2018 Batch C Stream II Honourably from the mandatory one year service.

Some people will still be waiting to see their name on the senate list before they can proceed with the NYSC online registration well its good. But did you know that you can register without seeing your name on the senate list?

How you can register without seeing your name on the senate list.

Before we proceed you should know that NYSC will only work on the information given or submitted to by various institutions.

That’s why NYSC registration starts by your institution uploading your data on the NYSC senate list/portal.

If you keep seeing “NO RECORD FOUND” when trying to check your name on the NYSC senate list while other students from your institution have seen their names on the senate list, your solution is “LOOK UP SENATE LIST”

I know you will be curious to know what LOOKUP SENATE LIST is all about.

LOOKUP SENATE LIST
Lookup senate is just a short way to know if your institution has already submitted its hard copy of senate list to NYSC, if yes and you try lookup senate your information which your institution uploaded will pop up.
If you try lookup senate and it shows that your school has not submitted the hard copy of the senate list, you will have to stay calm till your institution do so.

But if you try lookup senate and it allows you to register congratulation and go ahead with your registration.

To try lookup senate you should have created your account on NYSC portal as fresh registration.

How to Correct Names on NYSC Portal.
Login to your dashboard (on http://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1 ) and then click on “Apply for Change of Name” link to be able to correct the following:
Spelling Error
Rearrangement
Replacement
Addition
Removal
Kindly note that your Students Affair Officer, will see the request for Replacement, Addition and Removal of Name, process and forward to NYSC for further necessary action.
You will not be registered on camp, if there is disparity in the name uploaded online, that appears on your dashboard and that of your Statement of Result.
This is also necessary to avoid errors on your Certificate of National Service.

Henceforth, information from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) will now be used to effect changes on the NYSC portal as from the 2017 Batch ‘A’ online Registration. The new procedure is as follows:

STEPS
Login to your dashboard Login to your dashboard (on http://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1) and click on the link to Date of Birth
Enter WAEC Verification PIN, select WAEC Type, Year of exam and enter your Examination Number
Click on Verify button
Click SUBMIT or CANCEL

Correction Of Course of Study
The Following are the Procedures for Correction Of Course Of Study On The NYSC Platform.

STEPS
Login to your dashboard and click on the link for Correction of Course of Study;
Select Course of Study; and
Click SUBMIT
