Each time he climbs the stage to talk,I see a man who has confidence in God and his host of heaven....
Each time he climbs stage to talk I see a man who hate intimidation.
Each time he climbs the stage to talk,it reminds me why timaya sang that song,I dey feel like Nyesom wike,Ebube dike.

Each time he climbs the stage to talk I see a man that ordinary men tremble before him...
Each time he climbs the stage to talk,it reminds me that I never made a wrong choice canvassing nook and cranny for him.
Each time he climbs the stage to talk,he reminds me the passion of a man willing to die for his people...
Each time he climbs the stage to talk,he reminds me of Joseph who saved for the raining days..

ANOTHER CHANGE FROM THE CHANGING CHANGER

Before the elections, Ameachi bombarded our ears daily with stories on how passionate he was to reclaim Rivers State's oil wells.
Ameachi's lie is now glaring to all as he is now in a position to speak but is no longer talking about the oil wells.

The truth is that Ameach left PDP in order to achieve his 3rd term ambition which he is pursuing through Hon Dakuku Peterside.

My administration is focused on service and project delivery, Governor Wike tells new commissioners
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that Commissioners and Special Advisers in the state who have joined the State Government with the intention of enriching themselves will be utterly disappointed as he runs a focused administration centered on service and project delivery.

NULLIFICATION OF MY ELECTION A TEMPORARY SETBACK SAYS GOVERNOR WIKE

*declares that Rivers State is PDP

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has described the nullification of his election as a temporary setback, saying that God’s will and the mandate of the people will prevail at the end of the day.

Addressing thousands of Rivers State people who thronged the Port Harcourt International Airport to receive him on Thursday, Governor Wike urged the people to remain peaceful as the state remains PDP despite the contrived situation at present.

He assured the people that his lawyers have already started the process of Appeal to the Supreme Court, noting that after the Supreme Court, the PDP will work with whatever judgment emanates from the apex court.

The governor said the PDP is ready for the National Assembly elections as ordered by the Appeal Court, but warned that the people will resist any attempt by the Federal Government to use soldiers and policemen to manipulate the elections.

He said: "I want to warn, let nobody attempt to do what happened in Bayelsa State here. Since they said they have annulled the elections, let them come and conduct fresh elections. Let nobody think that they can use soldiers and policemen to intimidate us. We will resist any such attempt. We have maintained our cool for a long time. Our calmness should not be mistaken as a sign of weakness".

The governor stated that Rivers people are peace loving, but they hate injustice and intimidation. He advised all PDP members in the state to commence unit to unit and ward to ward campaigns for the National Assembly elections.

"We shall return all our National Assembly members as a way to disgrace those who think they will snatch the mandate of the people", he said.

He said that the administration will continue to work for the people of the state and deliver good governance and projects to the people.

Governor Wike was welcomed by the speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, members of the State Executive Council, former National Assembly members, PDP leaders, Local Government Caretaker Chairmen, women and youth groups.

I woke up thinking if there's any APC person that can win election in his ward. Who knows should tell me..........
I know Sir Omehia & former governor Amaechi are from same ward..... that means Amaechi can never win his ward.
Just as Chief Silver & others like Preye Aganaba of Bayelsa couldn't win their wards so it is in Rivers State.
Dike Vincent Amadi do you know of any from your ward that can win? I know in my whole LGA none of them can win.
Ayara Lilnick, Marshal Obuzor, NO TO Change the oroashi people can anyone win when Hon. Marshall Uwom, Ehie Edison & others are there?
Goodluck Ichenwo, Sam Samuel,, Queen Igochi Southern Scotland, Tonia Onyegbule, Chika David Oparaodu Bernard Odike, George Azunda Chinda, Chyke Nmerukini, Rivers Amachree Queenth Akaninwa, Billy Akaninwa, Bob Abayomi, Marvin Chinda, Golden Mbadike do you people know of anyone that can win? I want to know that person.
Mpi Eze, Ukeame Godday can you guys win in your unit? Tell us now. I remember Chima Nnokam accepted defeat & congratulated Vokor because he knows the truth but was surprised he later changed to join others.

APC shouldn't waste our precious time, they know they can't win this state unless they plan to intimidate & use federal might which I doubt will work here.

Politics / Governor Wike And Abandoned Projects. An Administration Making Common Sense. by harrisforwike(f): 12:00pm On Dec 11, 2015
GOVERNOR WIKE AND ABANDONED PROJECTS

A terrible phenomenon in the Nigerian environment is the practice of successive administrations abandoning virtually all ongoing projects and programs of the previous administration. This is usually done irrespective of how laudable or people oriented the projects are. These projects are seen as legacies of the previous administration with each administration aiming to have its own.

This practice has been institutionalized in the Nigerian system and has served as a major clog in the wheel of the nation’s progress. Critical infrastructure and developmental projects like rail networks, power generation and distribution networks hold the key to Nigeria’s future as they are meant to serve as catalysts to our national development. Unfortunately, projects of this nature have completion cycles that exceed the life span of one administration. This immediately puts us in a position where we cannot complete any long term project as the next administration is bound to abandon it.

Present day Nigeria cannot even imagine embarking on a 10 year project as we all know that the project would definitely be abandoned.

It is estimated by the Chartered Institute of Project Programme and Project Portfolio Management of Nigeria (CIPPPMN) that the value of abandoned projects in Nigeria is over 12 trillion Naira.
This figure is 270 % of the national Budget for the 2015 fiscal year which stood at 4.44 trillion Naira and 200% of the 2016 budget which is projected at 6 trillion Naira.
Imagine where we would be if all these projects were completed.

The Nigerian abandoned projects story is taking a surprising new twist whish is starting from Rivers State.
The NEW administration in Rivers State has chosen a direction against this trend. The Rivers State governor has shown a very rare character by his commitment to completing all people oriented projects that have been abandoned within the state (no call mono rail here oo). He has said severally that he would complete all projects started by previous administrations as long as it would be to the benefit of the people.

The Eagle Island to Illuabuchi road which was started by the Odili administration and cooooooontinued by the Ameachi administration has been completed by him, the Odili/Woji/ Akajo road is receiving priority attention as work has even started on the second bridge.

His attitude towards abandoned and incomplete projects has endeared him to a lot of people as it has shown him as a man who can deliver on the goods and who values the benefit of Rivers people over his personal legacy, Ego or pride. He has shown himself as one who would gladly leave the pack, break negative institutions and chart a new course if it would serve the interest of Rivers people.

With the stellar performance of this government, Rivers people can comfortably boast that we made the right choice.
