How do you mean? I didn't get your point? Many a time I have been applying to federal universities in the north, I use post office and they always invite me for either tests or interviews. Except you were told by someone who works in this particular university that applications won't be received through post office agents, I would believe it. But, if they wouldn't receive applications through post office agents, they wouldn't have put their postal address or wouldn't have called publicly for recruitment.

Anyway, I have applied through post office, and I'm certain I would be invited. But, I'm not certain if I would like to risk going to Zamfara!

This is it: the institution (if it's a university or polytechnic) expects you to sensitise your referees to send their reports or recommendation letters on you officially to them (her); separately from your own main application in an envelope (that means if it's done manually). You're not to attach their recommendation letters to your own application. Your referees should send them separately. In most cases, one's referees might be very busy to post the recommendation letters, so you could help them to post the letters at the post office. (I use post office for such things because it works well for me.) It's very cheap as well. But never attach the letters/reports to your application that you would be submitting to the institution: they're separate requests from the institution (I mean your application and the recommendation letters), though for a single purpose. You get the explanation now?

Hmm...Just remain positive... The most important point is that, you applied. (But always follow instructions to the last letter: it pays.)

once u upload any document it is registered in their portal. a lecturer from the university told me. make sure u have every document on ground before u start registration. don't register half way for long.

All the criteria listed is for people applying in hardcopies and they were asked to supply names of addresses people who they will contact to send report on you. But all the same, do as you seem proper

If you check your online page under referees' section, you will find it stated clearly there. Besides, since I have been following the recruitment patterns of universities in Nigeria, there is no university that will not ask you to make your referees send their reports directly to the school. But all the same, do as you seem proper. Cheers...

It is also written on my online application under referees' section. That reports should be sent directly under confidential cover.

One thing I know is that FUGASHUA expects your referees to send their reports before the dead line of the application: within six weeks. And please, go back and read the application instructions, for clearer understanding.

No, it won't work. It is expected that these referees of yours are to post their recommendation reports on you without you getting involved. It should be between FUGASHUA and your referees. FUGASHUA expects you to only sensitise your referees to write their reports and send (posting via post-office mainly) them accordingly: the reports should not appear in any of your applications or documents. If I were you, I would exactly follow their instructions to the last letter, not shunt any processes, since you are rather game for the job. You get the point/logic of it?

Lol. I asked myself that question over and over till I got to know it is necessary. Honestly, it is necessary. It is a criterion that should not be overlooked as someone in the academics briefly warned me. However, you just have to consult or organise people who would write a recommendation report on you to that school. You could even draft the report by yourself and tell them to sign on it, then post it to the University in question by yourself; because your referees might be very busy to draft a report on you, talk less of posting them for you. Hope you're clear now?

The needful documents which would buttress that you're qualified for the position of your interest. (Mainly, credentials) .

And make sure that all your documents are in pdf formats, because it wouldn't upload if they aren't.

It depends on what you're applying for. But the needful documents for the position you're applying should be uploaded.
