Hello Nairalanders,

I have a BMW X5 and I'm based in Abuja. My air suspension
(airbags/balloons) has been failing repeatedly. I have taken
it to several mechanics in Abuja many times but the problem
keeps coming back.

The main symptom: when I turn the steering wheel, the front
tyre makes a scraping/rubbing noise - the mechanic says the
air balloon is dropping/deflating.

I want to permanently convert from air suspension to regular
coil spring suspension.

My questions:
1. Can anyone recommend a trusted BMW mechanic in Abuja
who has done this conversion before?
2. Has anyone in Nigeria done this conversion?
How was the result?
3. Where can I buy the conversion kit in Nigeria?
