In all, both opportunities and salary, NASC is better

The program I applied to there don't conduct interviews. Learnt their decision will come out mid-March, fingers crossed.

I am yet to see a school that interviews like university of notre dame. Their admission committee no dey play. Thank God for the progress so far🙏🙏

Thanks for this cos I always thought CAT A is for those with full tuition scholarship and probably with a living allowance.

Just to be sure, when one is accepted in a free tuition institution does that count under CAT A as well? I don't have a first-class that's why I want to be sure.

1. Yes you qualify for CAT A.

2. You don't need an enrollment letter to book an appointment, that will be requested if they decide to give you the approval mail.

3. Your scholarship covers tuition not living expenses right? If so, you must submit BA/SL

4. They'll read your admission letter and you'll only get approval when you pay that 50% needed by your university.

For now, book your appointment. It comes within a week for Category A. You can use the new digital portal

What they said was if you don't get a decision by November ending, then you are not shortlisted. But what's giving me concern is that the first stage is only subject to the eligibility requirements so one can get a fee waiver to apply to UBC directly. Eligibility requirements include having the required cgpa, age requirements, submitting all documents like references, CV, transcripts,banswering all essay questions etc.

Why is that giving you concern tho, no offense?

I think for this first stage, they priorities grades over other requirements, so that selected students will eventually get admitted at UBC, cos of how selective the school admission process is.
Anyone who hasn't received a mail yet should move on and hope for positive response from other applications. E pain me sha, but we move

And.., you're right. UBC says that they'll reach out to successful applicants by month end. I did send them an enquiry yesterday .
I love that they're actually responsive to enquiries.

I get you, yeah, that's what is on the website...but at least someone has to get selected to apply... Besides, it may be a case of "high volume of applications" and they may need to extend the due date slightly (I hope sha)...

I think you'll have to first submit application to the listed programs first, who'll then nominate you for the MasterCard scholarship. You can check out Aneta Felix on YouTube, she was one of their scholars and she detailed the process.

Please has anyone received any update from MCF McGill?

I reached out to them yesterday via email. They said they are overwhelmed with application so have decided to extend review date to 6th December. They said that they'll will update their page to reflect the date thereafter.

Also when I applied, I did not receive confirmatory email acknowledging receipts of my application and documents. Is it just me or was this general?

I didn't receive a confirmation either, so I feel it's general
I was hoping they'll stick to the timeline they set. But here we are, still waiting. I think this indicates they received a huge number of applications. However, I believe they'll get back to us next week.

Has anyone received feedback from MCF UBC yet?

Who else applied for 3 McGill, UBC and Edinburgh, like me, abi I too do?

I think they'll send feedback by tomorrow.
