This may or may not be true. Truth is 80 to 90% of the time a situation like this happens, it has a pinch of manipulation in it, however there are few times when it would be indeed meant from the heart.

My wife had a not so different story from your girl and today I can boldly and proudly say marrying her remains the best decision I've ever made and believe me I have alot going well for me in other areas of my life (with all humility).

There're two facts you can draw from this situation regardless of the possibility of any kinda manipulation involved. First is that she likes you and considers you a keeper, atleast at the moment. Second is that she has alot of courage.

Finally, this idiotic post that APC zombies started spreading yesterday has found its way to Nairaland.

Context matters in everything. This was at the height of the OPC's cult wars in the West. When the OPC reigned terror and killed with recklessness. And even at that, he said 'If they cannot be apprehended'.

Besides, isn't it shameful that OBJ will suddenly be someone to want to compare what should be obtainable in a democracy to? This was in 1999. 20 years later, and we are still trying to justify governance now by making comparisons to what happened in times past?

Elections are not wars. The electoral act clearly states the punishment for offenders and ballot box snatchers; shooting them on sight is not one of them.
