ONEGHE, SELE! A NEW VOICE RISES FOR OKPEBHOLO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY
Saintmoses Eromosele (SME) Declares for House of Representatives

The time has come. Esan Central, Esan West, and Igueben, Okpebholo Federal Constituency, this is our moment.

Saintmoses Eromosele, SME, has stepped forward to contest for the House of Representatives. No more waiting. No more silence. With a clear mandate and a heart for service, he declares: We will rise, we will be heard, and we will take our plaService

Rooted in Community, Proven in Service.
SME is not a stranger to Esanland. His journey began with the Ewu Students Association, which he founded to unite young minds, promote education, and build leadership from the grassroots. That seed has grown into a movement.

Through the Oneghe Sele Foundation, SME has turned compassion into action. Scholarships to indigent students have kept dreams alive. Medical outreaches have restored hope to the sick. Skills programs have empowered youths and women to earn and thrive. From school fees to food support, from community water projects to mentorship, his record is written in the lives he has touched.

Why SME?
He understands the pain of our people because he lives among them. He knows the roads, the schools, the hospitals, and the farms. He brings experience in community development, youth mobilization, and humanitarian service to the table. He is not coming to learn on the job. He is coming to deliver from day one.

The Mission
Effective representation. Accountable leadership. Federal presence for Okpebholo. SME will push for quality bills, attract projects, and amplify the Esan voice in Abuja. With your support, victory is not a hope, it is the mission.

Join the Movement
The future we want will not be given. We must take it. Stand with a man who has stood for you.

PoliticsEsan Descendants Assembly (EDA) Worldwide Releases Press Statement by Healer123(op):
THE Esan Descendants Assembly (EDA) worldwide has expressed deep sorrow and outrage over the recent killing of suspected kidnappers who are being claimed to be hunters but called for security reforms and justice for the victims.

In a statement issued by EDA Chairman, Prof. Godwin. Okogun, and General Secretary, Saintmoses Eromosele, the group condemned the killings describing the horror as a stain on the conscience of Esanland.

A STATEMENT BY THE ESAN DESCENDANTS ASSEMBLY (EDA) WORLDWIDE

(On the Unfortunate Incident in Uromi)

March 30, 2025

There are moments in a people’s history when words fail, and silence becomes a greater betrayal than speech. This is one of such moments. For a great evil has swept through our land like a wild bushfire, leaving behind ash, anguish, and questions that trouble the soul. In the ancient town of Uromi, not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six — but several human beings, flesh, spirit, and bone — were cast into the flames by a mob seized by fury. Burnt alive.

And we, the Esan Descendants Assembly (EDA) Worldwide, speaking for Esan sons and daughters and organizations at home and in every corner of the earth, raise our voices not in pride but in sorrow. This act, committed on a part of our soil, is an abomination. A tragedy without excuse. Though the hands may have been few and may even have been perpetrated by resident strangers among us, the pain rests on all of us, like the dust of the dry season that settles upon every roof—guilty or innocent. We mourn the death and pray God for forgiveness and to appease the the ever known peaceful and accommodating land and of the blood of the innocent.

To the families of the slain, to the communities from which they came, to the states that raised them, and to the nation whose conscience has been wounded, we offer our deepest sorrow. We do not apologise from politeness, but from the pain of brotherhood. No man deserves to be judged by fire. No mother should receive her child in ashes.

But in mourning, we plead not to be driven to desperation and despair. We must let the nation know that the people of Uromi now live under siege with daily incidents of kidnapping, uncertainties and hopelessness having non to trust, but we must not resort to self help and acts of barbarism. For many planting seasons now, especially in the past couple of years, Uromi and her sister towns have groaned under the weight of evil: kidnappers striking by night and day, rapists and raiders invading homes and farmlands, killers walking boldly through markets and farmlands. And as our people cried, the silence of those meant to protect us sounds louder than the thunder of approaching war. We had hoped on the commissioning of the Esan Mobile Police squadron barracks for months unending.

We mourn the dead born out of desperation even as we grieve in our pain of insecurity and daily torture. We are a people abandoned by those sworn to protect us, we must be resolute and not lose our way. Truly justice has been distant but revenge is not an option. The madness that descended upon Uromi may not be a mystery, it is the child of long neglect. May such distardy act not rise again. Let God cleanse our land and repose the souls our innocent brethren. We mourn.

But we must not feed this madness. No matter how deep our wounds, the way of honour must not be forsaken. Esanland is not a jungle. We are a people of honour. A land that bred kings like Agba nojie of Agbazilo and Uda nojie of Okpebho whose words were once law, of scholars like Emeritus Professors Richard Abhuluimen Anao and Emeritus Prof. Friday Okonofua and the legendary late Professor Ambrose Forunlosho Alli, whose thoughts illuminated and still illuminating many minds across the world, of warriors like General Isidahome who founded Dahomey, Chief Anthony Eromosele Enahoro who moved motion for Nigeria independence, Chief Tony Ahakon Anennih and Admiral Augustus Aikhomu who fought for Nigeria's unity and progress with dignity, not savagery; of medicine men like Ezomo, Ugboha n'Igun and Ukpota whose hands brought healing to the Benin Empire, not destruction to life and livelihood, of religious leaders like Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Alh Musa Ikhilor and Olubunmi Cardinal Okogie who lead, in significant capacities, some of the biggest religious bodies in the world. Never again must we resort to self-help and barbaric acts.

Therefore, we call upon our beloved Governor and brother, His Excellency Governor Monday Okpebholo; our sister, the Commissioner of Police; our friends at the Department of State Services; the Commander of the 4th Mechanized Brigade of the Nigerian Army; and all stakeholders in security management, to rouse themselves at these trying times. Let them rise not only in anger after the deed is done, but with courage before it is done. Let them defend the living with the same zeal with which they now count the dead.

Enough blood has been spilled. Enough tears have fallen. Let there be no more widows weeping by night, no more fathers burying sons, no more children growing up afraid of roads, forests, and market paths.

The land cries for justice, not the justice of mobs, but of law. And we, the Esan people, must lead by example. Let us return to the path of wisdom. Let us say no to mob justice and never again take the law into our own hands. Let us put out the fire before it consumes us all.

Esan Kugbe; Ebho Okpa, Unu Okpa.

PoliticsBiography Of Monday Okpebholo, The Apc Governorship Candidate Of Edo State by Healer123(op): 11:40pm On Feb 28, 2024
MONDAY OKPEBHOLO

Senator Monday Okpebholo is a Nigerian politician, businessman and senator representing the good people of Edo Central senatorial District. He is currently a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), He is the current APC gubernatorial candidate for the upcoming Edo gubernatorial election in Edo State.

BIOGRAPHY AND EARLY LIFE

Senator Monday Okpebholo (aka) Akpakomiza, was born on 29th August 1970, to the family of late Chief and Mrs. Peter Okpebholo of Udomi Community in Uwesan-Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area.

His father hailed from Udomi Community in Uwesan-Irrua, Esan Central LGA, while the mother, was a native of Ikekiala Community in Eguare-Uromi, Esan North East LGA.

Senator Monday Okpebholo was nicknamed 'Akpakomiza,' immediately after his birth. From the very minute he touched the mother earth, his facial countenance and unperturbed manner, despite being birthed into a new environment, which is entirely different from the mother's womb, wherein, he has lived for nine months, was a clear case of a man on a destined mission, hence, the powerful and strong wording nickname; AKPAKOMIZA!

EDUCATION

As a child, Akpakomiza as he his popularly known, attended Udomi Community Primary School and Ujabhole Secondary School respectively, both in Uwesan-Irrua, Esan Central LGA.

Unfortunately, the untimely death of his younger and only sister, as a result from complication from unhygienic water supply, fetched from the stream, cut short his dream of finishing his secondary education in Ujabhole Secondary School in Uwessan.

Indeed, the terrible impact of the loss of his close and only sister made him to leave his beloved community and relocate to Jos, Plateau State in tears, to live with his elder brother, where he eventually completed his secondary school education.

Amidst his sense of irrecoverable loss and righteous anger, he made a vow to God, that, if he blesses him financially, he will fix the problem of lack of hygiene public water menace in his community. Indeed, God answered his prayer and the first millions God blessed him with, was committed towards the fixing of the water problem in his community years ago.

Senator Akpakomiza however did not stop the pursuit of knowledge even when he was already successful as a businessman. He went back to school and obtained a degree in Business Administration from the University of Abuja. He is currently pursuing his Masters’ degree in Policy and Leadership Studies in the same University of Abuja.

BUSINESS

After his Senior School Certificate Exam in Jos, Senator Akpakomiza got a job with a small firm that deals in books and computers with a paltry sum as salary. However, his smartness in salesmanship quickly endeared him to many big individuals, corporate organizations, government agencies and European missionaries in Jos and beyond.

One of such big company was Nasco. He became exceptionally successful in the sales of computers, such that many people encouraged him into setting up his own firm, which he heeded with every sense of determination to succeed.

Thus, at a time, many businessmen were still peddling in analogue enterprise, Senator Akpakomiza saw the future in computers and quickly keyed into the business by floating Chapman Computers Limited. The company soon became a household name in Plateau State.

Senator Akpakomiza foray into the ICT sector paid so well that he later established the Interweb Satcom Limited, a giant industry player in broadband sales and development. The young man soon found himself dealing with foreign entrepreneurs as Interweb Satcom Limited so began to be very famous in digital hardware.

Both Chapman Computers Limited and Interweb Satcom Limited became mega companies in trading, importing and competing with global industry players from Europe and America.

POLITICAL LIFE[b]

Thus, the public acknowledgement and recognition of his skillset and competencies by eminent Nigerians from various fields of endeavor, who were friends and associates of Late Chief Tony Anenih of blessed memory, endeared him to the late Iyasele of Esanland and the black race (Chief Tony Anenih).

Senator Akpakomiza's valuable relationship with Chief Tony Anenih opened up vistas of political engagements between him and political heavyweights across the length and breadth of Nigeria, and therefore, on his own, developed the idea of politics of development and service to humanity. As someone who places value on friendship, he took Late Chief Anenih as his mentor, hero and ‘father.’

Senator Akpakomiza's philosophy for playing politics is woven around human and infrastructural development. It was this factor that pushed him to contest for the Senate in Edo Central Senatorial District, under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

His giant strides in infrastructural development and human capital building amongst other public service delivery in Edo Central preciepited his overwhelmingly electoral victory on February 25th, 2023, thereby smashing the 24 years rule of PDP in Edo Central Senatorial District.

On June 13th, 2023, he was inaugurated as the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing Edo Central Senatorial District, Edo State, in the 10th National Assembly, and he chairs the Senate Committee on Public Procurement.

As a proud Edo man whose thoughts and feelings is centered around the development of the state and the wellbeing of her people, he joined the governorship race.

Senator Okpebholo's altruistic love and desire to change the deplorable condition of infrastructure, tackle insecurity menace, transform education, health and agric sectors in Edo State were some of the things that propelled him into taking the leap to run for the governorship race.

On February 23rd, 2024 Senator Monday Okpebholo [Akpakomiza] was declared the winner of APC governorship primary election in Edo State after a fierce contest.

Where knowledge, experience, education, leadership and competence matter, Senator Akpakomiza has led.
