Lesson 2. How to register your vendor with Jiji and create your store

As the largest online marketplace in Nigeria, Jiji has hundreds of thousands of users and just under a million ads in every category imaginable. With the help of Jiji, you can start a successful online business or make a little cash by selling stuff you no longer need. However, for the purpose of this tutorial and income opportunity, we will focus on products promoted by Health2Wealth Africa

1. Creating a Jiji account
You’ll be happy to learn that on Jiji registration is absolutely free and you can have your own Jiji account within minutes. To launch your account, go to the Jiji signup page.

You have three options for signing up: you can do it through your Facebook or Google account, or you can fill out the details manually. Make sure to use a unique and secure password for Jiji and don’t share it with anyone under any circumstances.
When you fill in the blanks, click Register and you’ll be taken to your profile, where you’ll be asked to confirm your email address. Go to your emails, find the latest one from Jiji, and follow the link in the letter to do the confirmation.
If you sign up with the help of Google or Facebook, Jiji will automatically fill out all of the available details, but you’ll still need to confirm your email. Simply visit your Google emails or go to the email account you used to sign up for Facebook to finish the registration.
That’s it – now you know how to create Jiji account and can start modifying your profile.

2. Working with your account
Now that you know how to register on Jiji, you also need to learn how to work with your Jiji account. Click on Profile > Settings to view and modify your account preferences and info.

Here you need to fill out any details that might be missing, like phone number or address. You can also connect your social network accounts to your Jiji profile, set up notifications, and change your password. Don’t forget to add a profile photo for making your ads more attractive to buyers!

3. Selling on Jiji
Once you’ve signed up for Jiji, got your Jiji login, and made the necessary changes to your account, you can start selling right away! If you’re wondering how to sell on Jiji, I am happy to tell you that it couldn’t be easier!

Start by visiting the Post Free Ad page (click on the Plus icon). Here you will find several fields that need to be filled out with the details about your item. First, choose the category and subcategory, and then write a short title and add the description of your item.

The rest of the detail you need to add will depend on the type of item you’re selling. For example, in order to post an ad selling a car, you will also need to specify the make, model, manufacturing year, color, condition, price, and a couple of other details.

The next step is where you add the photos. You can add pictures in the most popular formats. Don’t ignore this step, as ads with photos are 5 times likely to grab the attention of the potential buyer. You can arrange the photos any way you like and add the title picture.

Finally, you need to review your contact details, so that the interested buyer could contact you easily. Add your location to target buyers from the nearby areas. Finish the ad by clicking Post.

With these simple steps, you can create your Jiji account and start selling to hundreds of thousands of Nigerians immediately. Don’t hesitate – sign up now!

Becoming a vendor is a seamless process with Jumia’s self-signup; a DIY process where you can become a vendor on Jumia in exactly 5 minutes.

Step 2: Submit the required documents – Business registration and bank account details.

9. How the program will work

The business opportunity is based on Health and Wellness. The wellness industry is a 4.3 trillion-dollar industry. It’s huge. This business will also utilize ecommerce and digital marketing. I will come to that.

It will cost N10,000 to start. For this to work for you, you must have a laptop or a smartphone with access to data.

ECA Cost
The E-Commerce Associates (ECA) Program is a new program available from WebClick Communications (Digital Marketing Agency) on Health2Wealth Wellness Store that allows commercial sellers to market their products alongside existing Health2Wealth products and also from their own, separate “Deal Store” or “Vendor Shop” Website.

For this purpose of this campaign, you’ll be given the ECA Consultant membership account which will cost you N2,000. With this access, you’ll have the chance to promote all our product with your unique coupon code. You will also be able to list any product from your capital investment in our store. You will also receive a unique referral link that you use to invite people to our program.

ROYALE FEE
Health2Wealth partner Royale Business Club International. However, to join Royale requires a minimum of N50,000. However, Royale has a program for direct sales members and it cost a non-refundable fee of N1,500. When you are enrolled in the direct sales program, you’ll have the opportunity to order products from Royale desk at 15% discount. You'll also be able to promote the Royale products we have on our platform and earn unlimited income. But because of our 30 days refund policy, I will not register you yet but will only hold the money in trust.

So, for the purpose of this program, I will allow you to promote all of Royale programs and earn 15% bonus. In the meantime, I will not register you until after your 30 days have passed. But you can place order for any item at the 15% discount. If you decide you don’t want to pursue the program, you just request a refund. Please note that no inventory or shipping is expected from you. All you need do is promote and earn your commission. The Royale direct sales fee is refundable after 30 days.

FAP
Facebook Advert Point of N,2000 will be deducted from your N10,000 to run advert for you on Facebook to introduce your store brand to our audience. You will be able to promote any of your preferred product and we’ll bring our professionalism into the promotion. This money is also refundable on the condition that your unique code is transferred to a new user after 30 days.

CAPITAL INVESTMENT
This is the amount available for product retailing. You’ll need to invest this on hot demand items based on our recommendation or your knowledge. We will recommend wholesale vendors where you can order your products from in Lagos. Sales from your capital investment will be re-invested back until about the last 7 days of your participation.

HOW IT WORKS
This is strictly an online business. So you will spend your bulk time on this program promoting online in addition to the Facebook advert we run on your behalf. For this program to yield bigger result, you will need to register with Jumia Affiliate program. I will explain more on the function of Jumia affiliate program later.

Any interested person who join this campaign will be added to Health2Wealth internship group platform where I cover the details for promotional methods.

AS A RECAP
1. You invest N10,000 refundable fee
2. N5,500 goes for program participation and advert

At the end of 30 days, you decide whether you want to remain in the program by encashing your commission or quit the program by demanding refund.

TERMS
1. If you opt for 30 days 100% refund, your referral code will be transferred to another owner.

Many people will tell you to import the items you want to sell but I am assuming you don't have the time and money that goes with importation. So instead, we will be sourcing our product from Lagos international markets. When you buy your items from Lagos, it will come cheaper than when you try to import.

The system we put in place will require that you sign up on some platform to maximize your sales.

You will need the vendor shop so that you can create your own custom products. with the vendor accounts, you will automatically have an online store as well. It is this online store that you will be promoting most of the time because it will feature your best deals on Health2Wealth platform and Jumia
