Guys, sorry for the lack of update. 2019 has started with lots of work already.

I’m thinking of turning this thread into an AMA (Ask me anything).

I don’t really like updating threads I don’t see getting much interest. The motivation is just not there when there’s no feedback loop that people are getting value from what you are posting.

So an AMA will solve this as I will only respond when someone actually ask question.

So drop your questions.

My proposals that got the job done in 2018. After sending loads of proposal on freelance platforms, I started seeing a pattern emerge. What works and what didn’t work.

I doubled down on what was working and eliminated what wasn’t.

The result is a client-magnet proposal template I came up with.

Upwork is better than fiverr in the sense that most clients on Upwork are premium individual clients and companies that pay for the real value of service offered. Further, on Upwork, after 5 days your fund for a completed work based on fixed rate is released for withdrawal whereas on fiverr, fund for a completed task is available for withdrawal after 14 days. More so, Upwork service charge to a freelancer on a project more than $500 with a particular client is 10% whereas service charge to a seller for any project on fiverr is 20%.
