It is most useful for Gesture support.

For example, when you pinch in/out to zoom in/out, you are making use of Two point multipoint feature.

So when you are using more than one finger to perform an operation on your phone screen, you are making use of multi-touch feature (e.g playing games).

So with this phone, it means you can use up to 5 fingers on your phone screen simultaneously.

It can either be 2, 5, 7 or 10 points multi-touch. I think 10 is the highest for now. Obviously, you have only 10 fingers, so it shouldn't be more than that.

Download Antutu Tester or Multi touch tester from Playstore to test for it on your phone. Most low end devices come with just 2.

The one for playing games is the real deal for me.
