While the Nigeria media space was celebrating Anambra peaceful election and mourning a great elderstateman Dr Alex Ekwueme, A controversial oral bombshell exploded from the mouth of the newly re-elected governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano.
I was vividly disappointed by the obiano remark that Anambraians built Lagos, its undiplomatic,inflammatory,and divisive.
Issues like this can set us up against our hosts.
The Question of who developed Lagos can be examined down briefly below.
Lagos a Yoruba state started seeing some developement right from the days of the colonial era,
Its development rose when it served as the capital of Nigeria,the Federal Government pumped a lot of money in some infrastructure in the state,
After she lost her capital status to Abuja,the modern Lagos continued to grow and it is the melting point of all ethnic groups in Nigeria who are in the state.
Taxes generated from industries,factories,business centers etc is the source of IGR of the state.
Bragging about Igbos developing Lagos makes us look stupid before the world for some reasons.
Its time we Ndigbo show the world our own Lagos instead of salivating on another person property.

Aba or Onitsha are two Igbo cities that we can develop like Lagos if we have visionary leaders.

So why the controversy?
Careless remarks like that of Obiano arm our host against us,
Lack of diplomacy should not be a weak point to us,
That statement by obiano portray us as Land grabbers which in reality we are not.
I am not ashamed to say it that despite awolowo £20pounds saga, Lagos provided the platform by which some Igbos regained themselves economically after the war,
So why the unnecessary provoking?

Igbos should think home now for investment, there is no pride in bragging about developing another man's land and leaving your own to rot.
Enough of this controversy,Lagos is a Yoruba state and remains so.
We can build our Igbo cities and towns to international standard and stop this unnecessary "Lagos and no man's land" jibe.

For being real and unbiased you deserve a throne. Even the Israelites in the bible had their individual territories and region. The east should be developed but being biased about this whole issue because of investments in Lagos won't yield anything except rancor and disputes. We need people like you as leaders. Great post!

Snail pepper soup is very delicious and healthy for everyone. It is very nutritious and a great substitute for assorted, chicken and goat meat pepper soup.

You can make peppered snail by simply simmering the cleaned snails in peppered sauce and eat alone as an appetizer.

Here's snail pepper soup recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients:::
• 20 small Snails (Cleaned and washed with Alum Or Lime)
• 3 Calabash Nutmeg seeds (Ehu/Ariwo)
• 1 teaspoon of Thyme
• 2 tablespoon ground chilli pepper (or as desired)
• 1 medium sized onion
• 2 seasoning cubes
• Salt to taste

Procedure:::
• Using an old frying pan, roast the nutmeg seeds. stirring constantly till you can smell it. Try to remove the outer membrane, if it comes off easily, then the nutmeg is done.

• Peel off the nutmeg skin and grind/blend or pound into a smooth powder and set aside. Slice the onions and set aside.

• Wash and place the cleaned snails in a medium sized pot. Pour water just enough to cover it, add the crushed seasoning cubes and chopped onions then bring to boil.

• Once it starts to boil, add the ground pepper, nutmeg, thyme and salt to taste then continue cooking for about 10 more minutes.

• Once the snail is done, leave to simmer for about 3 minutes and it's ready to be served. Enjoy!

Effect on battery life is insignificant and inconsequential.
Recent studies have shown that slower charging last longer and save battery life.
quickcharge and other fast charges gotten from normal 2A charger are detrimental to battery health in long run, it think its in the terms and conditions for those that read It.

The real concern of charging with laptop is phone memory, the cumulative effect of usb mass storage recognition and removal (without unmounting) cause memory distortion you start getting "unfortunately memory has stopped" query and other problems.
So charge with moderation and try to unmount before unplugging the phone.

You are the only one that answered the question. I have tried several phones and noticed that although charging via pc takes longer than using your recommended charger. It never spoilt my battery infact after charging it takes long before it drains than using another charger that charges fast. Make sure you use the right usb cord else instead of charging it discharges spoiling your battery.
