Nigeria is like a murky water. No sane investor will bring his money to a country that is politically unstable. This is the consequences of doing politics the wrong way. we warned them, but the unholy children of perverts and miscreants won't listen. 1 Like 1 Share |

Unfortunately, he's not achieving anything about the image laundering tactics he was brought in by Nuhu Ribadu (CSA) to perform this dirty rhetorics. Soon, it will be visible to the human eyes that the righteous cannot be dented by the voices of evil, no matter the principalities or forces of darkness bedeviling it. |

Politics / Re: Rufai Oseni Blasts FG For Demolishing Landmark Beach Front by Heffalump(m): 6:22pm On May 01 |
Kenochi: Thank God you're a graduate, but I'm still surprised you reason like the manner you wrote. Is there still legal jurisprudence in Nigeria? I thought Nigeria has long forgotten about legitimacy of the law and instead embraced "jungle justice" as practiced in the zoo. I strongly believe that Nigeria will find it very hard to ever develop because the number of people with myopic vision and sentimental views far out weighs the people with sane minds good heart. Assuming the owner of Landmark beach acquired the land illegally, what's the economic justification for embarking on such a huge capital project up to the tune of $15 Billion and you're not sure of completing it in 20 years, in the midst of economic recession and hard biting inflation in the country? Even though the Lagos - Calabar highway has its economic benefits, we cannot harness the gains till about 30 years time. There's what they called "Low-Hanging-Apples" that provide the best economic potential for quick wins. Instead of spending this gargantuan of amount money on a single road that we can't see the immediate benefit now, why not build/ rehabilitate similar interstate roads that will provide immediate benefit to Nigerians? Or build more rail tracks to convey heavy Petroleum products instead of the conventional use of Petroleum tankers that constitute serious dangers to the human life. As educated people, we should always put our education to use and proper discernment. Great countries are built because there are great people with like-minds in them. The haste at which this project is being conducted from the landmark segment casts some shadows on the true intentions and honesty behind the action. I'm not an Igbo, before you quickly draw your conclusions. Rufai Oseni is neither and Igbo man too but he's a well meaning Nigerian like many of us not towing the paths of sentimentalism. When I see people celebrating the present government folly today, I simply shake my head in disbelieve. The demon you celebrate today will surely build a mantion in your life tomorrow. There's no place to hide. It'll eventually hurt everybody las las (in Nigerian parlance). |

Politics / Re: Michael Chibuzo Replies Obi's Criticism Of The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway by Heffalump(m): 8:27pm On Apr 30 |
Godfullsam: What is the benefit of this Lagos - Calabar high way to the Nigerian state as of today, when there are several super highways in a deplorable condition already? It would have been better to concentrate on building train tracks all over the country so that bulk commercial products like Petroleum can be ferried by train instead of using the conventional roads via trucks. This has resulted in many accidents and rapid dilapidation of high ways in Nigeria. Common sense is never common especially when the intention behind the action is guided by selfish ambition and corrupt tendencies. 1 Like 1 Share |

thesicilian: What did Ukraine do before the Russian invasion? Now that the country has been leveled down, ICC has never called for the arrest of Putin. Are they scared of him and his nuke power? Anybody that solely blame Israel for attacking Gaza without first accusing Hamas for their October 7 attack on Israel, is worst than a heathen, and a very wicked biased soul for that matter. When you want to solve a problem, start from the root cause and progress to the promote issues. Anybody that dares Israel will get it hot hot. |

baretalk: Thank you. With pay as you view, I wouldn't mind their fees increase. They are taking advantage of the porous Nigeria system, where government officials take bribe and allow a service provider to milk the masses. Nonsense! DSTV that I know will still increase the fees anyway. Very heartless company. I blame ourselves for enduring a monopoly as DSTV. 1 Like |

Even the blind and deaf knew what transpired in the presidential election. You guys should stop deceiving yourselves and everybody. Deception will never save you, it only takes a moment for it to be upturned. Your inclinations will not help Iran either. All religious terrorists must go down, whether you like it or not.
