Are there any games for PC, Android, or any video game system xbox/ps2/gc generation that I can play on an emulator. Preferably in a pre-modern setting. I'm less interested in southern Africa but if there is a good game including that region I still would like to here about it.
I have played Crusader Kings II, Rome 2, and Civ V. It doesn't have to be a strategy game though, or historical. Historical settings ARE preferred however.

On a slightly related note.

My friend and I are working on a mod which gives Arab and African factions good rosters but also basing the new units on historical research. Said factions are not overpowered, and are usually weaker than the bigger ones but we are making rosters for them to make them fun and viable factions to play as without breaking historical accuracy. (I've done a lot of research on Nubia).
