PoliticsPeter Obi Charges People Of Kogi State To For Labour Party by Heisyoungjohn(op): 12:14am On Sep 22, 2023
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the last presidential election, Peter Obi, has charged the people of Kogi State to vote for the Labour Party and its candidate, Adejoh Okeme, in the forthcoming governorship election.

Obi, one of the leaders of the party, gave the charge in Lokoja on Thursday during the official presentation of the party’s gubernatorial candidate Okeme for the November 11, 2023 election in the state.

According to him, Kogi state has no business with poverty by virtue of the enormous potential abounding in the state, adding that the state hosts the giant steel company, river Niger and Benue including numerous mineral resources.

He advised the electorates in the state not to allow themselves to be deceived again by sugar-coated mouth politicians who will lure them for votes and after elections abandon them to their fate.
When I held sway as the governor of Anambra State for eight years, I was able to transform education, health, and infrastructure that today positively affect the lives of the citizens in the state”. He noted.

He told the electorates that if they want similar development in Kogi State in the next two years they should use their Permanent Voters Card to usher in the candidate of the Labour Party for prosperity.

*Labour Party Candidate Condemns the Attack on The SDP Candidate*

The Labour Party Governorship Candidate in the forth coming November 11th Gubernatorial Elections in Kogi State, Barrister Adejoh Okeme has condemned in very strong terms the attack on the convoy of the SDP candidate, Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka on the Abuja-Lokoja express way today, Saturday 3rd of June 2023 describing it as a highly unfortunate and regrettable incident.

Speaking to a cross section of his supporters and press while on a consultation visit some hours ago in Abuja, Barrister Adejoh expressed huge shock and worry at the turn of events leading to the November 11th elections.

In his words, he said, " News filtering in has it that the convoy of the SDP Governorship candidate have just been attacked along the Lokoja expressway. We as kogites cannot afford to create acrimony and bad blood among Kogites by inciting, attacking and creating chaos in broad daylight. This occurrence is highly condemnable and should not be mentioned in Kogi polity at all. We are all brothers and sisters and will remain so even after elections are over. Let us not engage in anything we will later regret."

He further stated that all Kogites of different political leanings should be given the opportunity to express themselves, travel safely and consult widely, as this will help deepen our democracy and create a better Kogi State for all, because, in the end whoever becomes governor will have to lead all Kogites regardless of their political preferences. If bad blood reigns, no one will enjoy the effects thereof.

He urged the Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Yahaya Adoza Bello and the security agencies to swiftly swing into action and fish out the perpetrators of such violent attacks and bring them to justice.

"May God bless Kogi State and The Federal Republic of Nigeria", was his prayer.

PoliticsKogi State Needs Growth And Development In All Sectors by Heisyoungjohn(op): 8:32am On May 23, 2023
For over a decade Kogi state has had poor growth and development especially in administrations. Kogi is one of the major state that has suffered from poor administration over and over again
For a state that has both mineral resources and crude oil etc it is such a shame
A perfect living example to solidify my view is the Exemplary Barrister Adejoh Okeme, The Labour party governorship candidate in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in Kogi state . A man whose distinguished style of leadership has and keeps endearing the heart of his people and growth loving Nigerians.

Bar. Adejoh Okeme ranks growth highly and always eager to learn and adapt to the wants of his people while of course proferring everlasting solutions to the challenges of his people without any telegenic uproar.

The future is bright for you sir. As you help foster growth for others, God will always provide you the opportunity to grow on a personal level that would in return be massive to we your people and Nigeria at large

Join the movement!
Let's u all grow together

YOU FAILED WITH DISTINCTION: In your 8 years of disaster, you elevated nepotism to the highest level, you were visibly selective in fighting corruption, you destroyed the economy, the polity and cohesion. You are living us more disunited than you met us. You mortgaged our future.
2. Through crazy and wicked borrowings. 64,000 were killed under your watch. You destroyed businesses of all categories. You sent 134 million into avoidable poverty.Corruption became a celebrated institution under you. Worst of all, you are living in denial. YOU ARE A FAILURE

Kogi is not cursed. Our problem is squarely leadership. I encourage us to keep hope alive - hope that sees beyond the darkness of the moment and the possibilities of the future, with consolation that in a few months, we shall have the opportunity of gifting Kogi a purposeful leadership.
