Hello everyone, a friend is in urgent need of advice. He claimed asylum in the UK in 2023. Last year, he met a Nigerian-American, and they have been making wedding plans in the UK. Vendors have been paid, and deposits have been made for the wedding venue. Invitations have gone out as well. Please note that this is a genuine marriage. He proposed to her in October last year.

However, in January this year, his asylum application was refused and deemed unfounded, with no right to appeal. His wedding is scheduled for August, and he is feeling very confused. Has anyone ever experienced a similar situation? What options does he have so they can go ahead with their wedding as planned? They plan to relocate to the US afterwards. Please help.
