Aside from the life insurance, they could at least continue to negotiate for other requests while they do their job. Their services are key to controlling this pandemic 3they know that. This is not the appropriate time to ask for some of those things wallah.

But you know that the government wont listen to them once work is still going on...so sad meanwhile in neighbouring Lagos...some young doctors who graduated about 7 months have not been issued lisences by the MDCN....the provost of College of medicine, University of Lagos is waiting for Corona to go �

Because they are human beings who are much more prone to having the disease and giving their loved ones at home, apart from covid 19..Nigeria has been suffering from healthcare workers shortage
Now covid came in and some of their members are working in isolation centres meaning that they have be short staffed further...

If our useless politicians are privileged to have those allowances without making any difference then the doctors and other workers deserve more. Imagine 15k for hazard allowance.

Loool...why wont they want to gone strike?..No PPE, they are overworked, poor remuneration meanwhile Unilag graduated close to 100 doctors last year October/ November and they havent been issued lisences to practice by the MDCN..(all criteria required by the mdcn has been fulfilled). They haven't started work, so you have skilled professionals wasting away

What is MDCN doing about it?
Cant the ceremony be done much later? I know for convocation some people come and do it during NYSC..why do young lives have to be dragging like this?

Please just read the post that professor FEA lesi made on expanding the capacity of healthcare workers...this was in April and I ask...what sort of "eye service" is this?

Later we complain that our healthcare professionals are leaving, but who would not leave...after spending long years in school someone would still want to waste time again...especially during this pandemic period....

Can medical students just be inducted it's been 7-8months! Which way now...unilag
