Bro, calling that trash "balanced" is an absolute joke. They didn't make a documentary, they made a calculated hit-piece.

The whole thing is just a desperate attempt to rewrite history and make Michael look bad when he literally did nothing wrong. It spends all this time lingering on dramatic, ominous music and rehashing old prosecution lies that completely collapsed under cross-examination back in 2005.

They entirely gloss over the financial motives of the accusers and act like the FBI didn't spend over a decade turning over every single stone just to find absolutely nothing. Michael was completely acquitted on every single charge because the jury saw through the extortion.

Netflix just gathered the same media talking heads who hate MJ to push a biased narrative because he's not here to defend himself. Anyone saying it shows "both sides" is completely falling for the trap.

See wahala. Netflix wasn't even narrating or making a verdict of their own. They brought people who were involved in both sides to discuss and you're complaining.

By the way it was a local case,not a federal case so no it wasn't a FBI case like you're trying to impress and it wasn't a 10 years investigation either. Both are off repeated misinformation from MJ stans.

This Michael movie is incredibly shallow...it's barely even a movie, it's like they didn't even have a script,they just had somebody make a list of all of his most famous songs and videos and then just recreated them.

The anime itself is one of the weirdest one out there. Everyone thought it was impossible to make a live action.

So yeah, in the live action, the world is weird and even less weird than the anime. But the story has always been good.

I really liked and binged through season one. The early part of the second season was also manageable,and then it started looking like some low budget power rangers.

30 mins series has been in existence for as long as I know TV shows. The network shows are around that time, originally sef, TV shows started with 30mins output, and a few 45mins content. It is streaming/Netflix that invented the 1hr+ episodic format.

Folks that watch anime, na 20 mins per episode dem dey watch. No complaints.
Love, Death + Robots have episodes ranging from 6-20 mins and I didn't hear a single complaint from anyone about length even from the town crier.

All this talk na just agenda and cheap talk due to ignorance.

If you actually know the material they were adapting from, you wouldn't be saying this trash.
There's no way Dunk and Egg stories can give you the regular length as Game of Thrones or House of the Dragon. It's just impossible. If we use that same metric, then A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms would be finished in just 2 seasons, and that's with massively stretching the story with fillers and shït.

You're listing series that releases multiple episodes at once or when you had 20 episodes for a season and you didn't have to wait more than a year for the next season. Waiting a whole week just for a 30 minutes piece,and finally six episodes is not it.
At the end of the day, it's done simply because it's a profit-maximizing strategy. There’s no solid reason other than that to plan five seasons when you know there isn’t enough source material to support them. Locking into that plan anyway suggests a lack of flexibility or confidence in the writers as without being spoon-fed then they'd do shit.

House of Ashur reception on this thread just dey muzz me. On one hand, you have the folks that feel it's a solid show and the other hand, you have the folks that feel it's garbage.

Even the two main movie ratings are off; IMDb says 5.9(bad for a series) while rotten tomatoes is 92%

First lady is a solid 6/10 for me.
This k drama started very well but along the way, they lost the plot and the writing became mediocre, perhaps cutting it short to 7 to 8 episodes would have made more sense.
It's still a nice series though with an intensed plot but they couldn't maintain the intensity.
Great and wonderful casts, the main female cast which is the first lady carried the show and it's so sad that the main male cast which is the president elect couldn't match her energy and connection.

Personal i feel the actor was too dull for the role, he was a wrong choice for the roll.
Anyways it is what it is, it's an enjoyable series but average at best.

A 6 rating for a series is quite bad

There’s no big deal in the show, it’s about two lovers and their uncle or friend (I can’t quite remember) who is a scientist. He built a time machine that malfunctioned during testing, creating several parallel realities, each trapped in a loop. The two lovers were able to move across time and realities, and eventually, they broke out of the loop. The confusion mostly comes from the way the episodes are arranged, but if you watch till the end, you’ll get it. It’s a good show if you ask me, and the theme song is really cool.

I watched till the end. I wasn't confused,I just don't get the hype.

It's a very high risk watch. From my observations,it's either people highly like it or they wonder what's so good about it.
I'm on the latter group who don't get the hype that sometimes I think a lot of people are pretending to like it because they think it makes them appear intellectually superior 😅
There's just this dull atmosphere I get when watching it.

The kids new Bunkmate had several scenes. The whole investigation arc had several scenes too.
Not saying the story wasn't solid but those things take away from the average watcher on this platform and that's why I didnt recommend.

Bro there's just like one scene in the entire show where they cuddle 😂. The series is even less gay than the average Netflix series.

Boots on Netflix is really good. Wasn't expecting much at first,but ended up binge watching the entire season at one go.

Because for a supposed billionaire who has had an attempt on his life, It would seem UDC had a death wish and with all that money, it seems his security is pretty shite! cuz how is skinny dipping in an open water with, no known perimeter? Anyway i enjoyed the episode still.


But thinking about it now, The Jackal's body count up until this point, is off the charts...he has been dropping bodies left, right and center. I know we are all rooting for him but there is no way in walks into the sunset after all of these, unscathed? except this is one of those rare media where the villain comes out tops which i doubt it is, because of the insane number work they have put into the character development of Bianca.

I am of the opinion that this was better as a one off show, but they went ahead to green lit an S2. So now what? what is the endgame? He has been profiled almost 100% now, and it shouldn't take that long to nab him, so what will the whole of S2 be about? Will he continue dropping bodies whilst Bianca continues the faux cat and mouse game when she has like 90% of the information to nail him? or does he really walk into the sunset after all it's said and done?...... Fascinating to think about but cautious enough to know they might get it terribly wrong....fingers crossed 🤞🏿 ⏳

My prediction will be that due to that gangstar assassination, season 1 will end with his identity and home being revealed,while season 2 will be a manhunt.

Honestly,it has such massive potential and they're just throwing it away. All the things that have been relevant in both season 2 and 3 would fit in just two episodes.

He had the opportunity to kill the CSO of the German presidential candidate. He didn't.
He also had a chance to shoot our lead black female MI6 operative after killing Norman Stoke. but he didn't.
He's not indiscriminate as you say.

He even left the man who could communicate in English alive during his escape in Budapest. If we're going by how normal operatives works he should have killed him to protect his identity.

Assassin movies that ends like you want typically have the targets as bad guys, unlike the jackal who not only is indiscriminate about his targets but kills random people towards his goal.

He will obviously die or have a bad end. Dude is a very cold-blooded murderer. The writers wouldn't want such a character to go scott free.
