No need giving him ultimatums. Collect whatever he gives you and ask him when he would give you the rest. Make sure there's an evidence he's owing you.

Also apologize to him (especially if you aren't a buoyant or strong person) and let him know you acted out of annoyance.

Now if later he fails to give you the rest of the money (which is likely), no worry as you could as well take it out of the next rent arrears.

Also Abeg never threathen or give anyone ultimatums if you don't have anything under you.
No do finish come nairaland dey ask what to do - who knows your Landlord might even be on Nairaland and be giving you advices that would favour him or even be laughing at you.


Going forward, learn to handle things yourself.
Also learn to never agree to unnecessary instructions.


You didn't mention if you're living on a flat, self-contain, FaceMeI?, etc.


NB: Sometimes it's not about if the landlord lives within the compound, it's about your personality.
Also whatever you can't continue, never allow it from the start.

We are all just exchangers oga. Anyways that na semantics.
Do a thorough search on the moniker/number, never send first to a less than a year old user, watch out for people who will claim their accounts were hacked etc etc there are so many signs that most times I just go by instinct - so if you're a newbie here, by all means use escrow. Personally I don't because I am very impatient.
And I never send first, except to some special people who don't even need to ask.

I asked if you are well known to him but he declined saying he's well known despite that he has no known office address or face. I asked if he will be responsible if you act funny after you've gotten my money but he declined to comment on that. I've done deals worth more than a million naira just last week and reasonable amount this week. I am satisfied with blessing of God, nobody will buy your funds if your escrow continue with that manner. You don't use command tone like you are talking to your boy. if you have evidence to prove otherwise you can post it.
