Will the tuition fee be remitted from a different source?

I’ll be paying his tuition. I’m his oldest brother

My brother was recently admitted for his bachelor's degree in Canada. My mom will be his sponsor. She currently has about 25m naira in her account. We should be able to pay his full tuition (25,000 CAD) upfront before applying for his visa. My question is, will paying his full tuition increase his visa chances? Also, will 25m naira be a good POF if the full tuition is paid upfront?
