Car TalkRe: Help! Brain Box Was Stolen And No Other Brain Box Seems To Work With The Car. by henrollao: 8:26pm On Mar 29, 2012
Sorry my brother, where did this happen? i had the same ugly experience with my Toyota Corrolla (2006) Dubai brand. The initial technician i got was trying out lots of ECUs to no avail having tried over 4 units. I finally got a good contact to a technician that was able to source the appropriate ECU that fits and he had to do some recoding to get it to work. Thanks to God my car finally came alive just yesterday. Those criminals MUST burn in Hell.

Let me know how i can help you out.

Hello Someone please HELP. The four power windows (all fomica) and the brain box of my Toyota Corolla 2006, GL (Manual drive)(Made in Japan for Dubai market)was stolen over this weekend. The VIN number of the car is JTDBR23E063174787. I have been trying to get the part number of the brain box to be able to look for it in the market but cannot retrieve the part number online. Please i need help because my electrician has tried many brain boxes but non fits.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP.

The best way to know the best fit is to go with the VIN. You take the VIN to the Toyota dealership and they can tell you exactly the ECU number. Thats the way to solve the problem. You cannot just be throwing in any type of ECU because it fits.

Good luck.
