So sorry… i had same experience i did my biometric at lagos on 5th May was shocked to receive a refusal after been approved schengen visas 4 consecutive time, i reapplied immediately with a covering note detailing the reason why they were wrong not granting my visa application, i did another biometric on 28th May same lagos, my passport came out on 25th June with a visa approval…..

Congratulations! Do you mind sharing the following info?

What type of visa (Business or Tourism), What was the reason for the initial refusal and what did you do differently when reapplying to have boosted your chances.

Congratulations once again!

Business visa
I wrote a strong letter explaining why they are wrong in refusing me entry or visa….. i highlighted the various visa issued and how i never violated any visa policy… i also attached some invoices to proof my tie with my dutch business partner… then attached all the documents which i presented previously…

FRANCE N/L ( NETHERLANDS)
Biometric- 5th May
PASSPORT COLLECTION- 19th May
Verdict- REFUSED

REAPPLIED IMMEDIATELY on 20th MAY
Biometric- 28th MAY
PASSPORT COLLECTION- 25th JUNE
Verdict- 45days, Single entry

( I have previously applied and used SCHENGEN VISA 4x with no refusal)
