handwork of mischief makers. Hon Chinedu did far better than this malicious post during the past yuletide. No need for much talk; wait for the official counterpost, with photo and video evidence, that will debunk this hatred and confine it to the bin where it belongs. |

Elections are won based on a candidate’s ability to garner adequate votes as enshrined in the constitution. The Nigerian constitution didn’t make provision for simple majority as a path to winning Nigerian presidency. The winning candidates needs at least 25percent of about 24 states. In addition to getting majority of the votes. Obi doesn’t have that capacity yet. Just not yet. |

I share the sentiment of this writer. Democratic politics is about numbers and the majority takes the trophy. Nigeria is still deeply involved in tribal politics. 2023 won’t change much. |

Happy birthday to a worthy lawmaker! Your legislative prowess and capacity in project attraction and delivery is well known and appreciated. We celebrate today and always. We pray God to strengthen you and endow you with more wisdom. Congratulations and many happy returns, sir. AsabaPropertyAg: *HURRAY IT IS HON. EMEKA MARTIN'S CHINEDU'S BIRTHDAY!!!*
Happy Birthday to an inestimable Boss - Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu - popularly known as Mr. Project; and by the special grace of God, the man who came, saw, and opened our eyes to understand that a member of House of Representatives can attract Projects (apologies to Comr. Austin Chilakpo, Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Imo State chapter)
Sir, it is with profound gratitude that I would have you know based on the reality on ground, that the good people of Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte federal Constituency could not have asked for a better representative in this Political dispensation..
You have so simplified and demystified political Representation that, our people are still wondering and pondering if such position had ever existed and occupied in our chequered political history.
As an insider, I can attest to the fact that many are unaware of your journey so far; but through that thick and thin, you have been as resolute as the northern star: you have not only been so compassionate, profound and expertly engaging for more expedition, but also never complaining and enterprisingly result oriented as evidenced in your two and half years scorecard that is devoid of jamboree, yet, astonishingly intimidating.
As the world rejoices with you today, may the good Lord, not only grant more blessings in your pathways, but also, give you long life, the sufficient prosperity and the strength to continue to make us proud in your quest to institutionalize good governance that is anchored on CHANGE IN NARRATIVES.
Once again, happy birthday and Congratulations, sir!

I’m at the verge of buying a naija used spider but my friend who uses Corolla is advising me against the plan, saying that one thing common among all Toyota spider is that they short oil. Just like people know that Hondas break leg, he said it’s a common knowledge that spiders have shortage of oil. Please I need constructive opinion. Note that my friend has not seen the car but he said generally they have that problem. |

Unfortunate society that we are.
Brilliance and civilization being sacrificed on the altar of ignorance and hasty conclusion.
I've seen the content, it's actually intended to promote human rights by putting a check on the very barbaric and anti democratic practice of mob action( killing suspects via jungle justice without verification or court pronouncement).
Jungle justice has not place in modern society and it's anathema to democratic and civilized conduct. |

So this bill/news that seek to make Nigeria a responsible nation in the comity to nations isn't generating much readership and comments.
Our airports deserve standard health facilities, not just in cases of emergency but because it's a standard practice globally. May Nigeria win. |
Politics › Re: Breaking News: HON.EMEKA CHINEDU sponsored another bill today 08/07/2021 by Henryoung009: 3:51pm On Jul 08, 2021 |
Nice move in the right direction. It's even shameful learn that our airports lack standard medical facilities. AsabaPropertyAg: HON. EMEKA MARTINS CHINEDU MOVES THE HOUSE TO ADOPT A MOTION TO ESTABLISH MEDICAL CLINICS IN ALL NIGERIAN AIRPORTS IN ORDER TO ADDRESS ISSUES OF HEALTHCARE AND MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AT THE AIRPORTS.
In a motion he moved in the House on Thursday 8, 2021, the member representing the good people of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency argued inter alia that:
"according to Ports Health Services Nigeria: five of the Country's International Airports namely: Murtala Muhammad International Airport Lagos; Port Harcourt International Airport Omagwa; Margarate Ekpo International Airport Calabar; Aminu Kano International Airport Kano and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, were designated to function with full packaged Medical facilities and Stand-by Medical practitioners for the purpose of Healthcare and medical emergencies", whereas the aforementioned Airports are presently operating with either deplorable, little or no medical facilities, while the remaining Airports are practically without verifiable medical facilities".
For the people who think that medical facilities in the Airport is a luxury, Hon. Chinedu cited the sudden death in December 2019, of a young traveller, identified as Mr. Chukwuma Eze, 47, who reportedly died under a questionable circumstance in Murtala Mohammed International Airport - Lagos; another death of one Mr. Jude Oladapo, 44, on October 2019 in the same circumstance and venue; and the unfortunate episode of a female passenger, reportedly found dead in one of the Toilets at the International wing of the Murtala Mohammad Airport, that maybe consequences of inadequacies in medical attention in our Airports.
The Legislative Tactician who is aware that a transit friendly environment such as Airport, is expected to be equipped with Medical Facilities that offer tones of services, with engagement of medical practitioners such as: emergency physicians; occupational medicine physicians; nurse practitioners, and radiology technicians, for emergencies as guarantee for traveller's confidence, is also aware that the medical practitioners must be on hand to take care of the medical need of the sick and emergencies such as: issuing of "Sick Note" for travellers who may not be strong enough to fly due to under the weather condition; and vaccinate passengers who maybe travelling to Countries that are susceptible to pandemic disease such as Covid-19 or Ebola, as well as, handle situations such as: allergic reactions, heart attacks, seizures, dehydration and so on;
While Hon. Chinedu is of the believe that the establishment of Medical Facilities in Airports, with engagement of professionals who would operate round the clock, can tackle issues of Healthcare, emergencies and exigencies, with some degree of appreciable sustenance and resuscitation before further action;
He also believes that having the option of such medical convenience in all Nigerian Airports that would compulsorily get some peoples' back at the time of need, can only bestow confidence on the travellers, Airport workers, and the people who may want to engage in one business or the other at the Airport;
A visibly worried Hon. Chinedu explained that despite the initial designation for full packaged medical facilities in accordance with the report of "Ports Health Services Nigeria", and the obvious huge and daily concentration of transactional benefits from persons of different background and nationalities in the Airports, our Federal Airport Authority is yet to go beyond the ordinary "First Aide".
He further explained that, the lack of substantially equipped Medical Clinics and Medical practitioners in our Airports, maybe a recipe for more avoidable deaths in our Airports, thereby eroding Travellers confidence and jeopardizing our chances of commensurate interaction with the global world.
The house in its decision, unanimously resolved to urge the Federal Ministry of Aviation to partner with the Federal Ministry Of Health and other related Agencies to establish Medical Clinics in all the Airports in the Country; and mandate the House Committees on Aviation, and Health Institutions to ensure implementation.
