Food / How To Prepare Cotttage Cheese With Fruit by henryvic3325(m): 8:55pm On May 18, 2018
Various desserts can be prepared from cottage cheese, with fruits, nuts, honey. Light and nutritious, they are very good for those who follow a diet or go in for sports. And children eat such dishes with great pleasure. They often need to be included in your diet, especially since cottage cheese contains a lot of calcium and protein, which is not unimportant for our health. Health / Healthy Food Strategies For Beginners In 2018 by henryvic3325(m): 8:26pm On May 16, 2018
A healthy food can be good for your heart as well as your waistline. There are so many tasty foods available nowadays, it’s no wonder many people live to eat rather than eat to live. Unfortunately, all this gustatory indulgence means that healthy eating habits often take a backseat. More people are tipping the scales at less than ideal weights. However, the idea that a healthy life and good eating habits equal deprivation is completely wrong and need to be rethought.

Healthy food has to be interesting in order to encourage people to eat it. Varying the kinds of nutritional food you consume is a way of keeping things fresh and exciting. After all, who in their right mind would want to eat broccoli for dinner every single night of the week? If you do find yourself fixated on a particular food item, varying the way you cook it gives you something to look forward to as well.

Of course, it’s important to eat better food if you’re trying to live more healthily. Throwing out junk food and empty calories is a good start, but you can also make a real difference to a diet by practising consistent portion control. The idea is, nutritional food is good, but it won’t make a lot of difference if you eat too much of it either! A good tip is that each portion of meat, carbohydrates and vegetables should be the size of your palm. What you should aim for is several small, energizing meals throughout the day instead of 3 big ones that can cause you to feel sluggish.

Not only should you accustom yourself to eating smaller, more frequent meals, you should also rid yourself of bad habits that can hinder a healthy eating lifestyle. Most common of these is eating too quickly and at the wrong times. Every bite of food should be chewed about 22 times. You should stop eating when you feel full, and not because you feel obliged to clean your plate. This is where eating smaller portions comes in handy.

The saying “you are what you eat” is never truer when applied to a lifetime of junk food consumption. It’s never too late to make a change for the better, and there’s no time like the present!

Politics / Buhari Will Continue To Receive Different Groups And Organisations - Rep by henryvic3325(m): 4:04pm On Feb 19, 2018
Muhammadu Buhari is set to meet Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other leaders of the All Progressives Congress at his country home in Daura, Katsina state today, a day after he received the party’s governors.

We have reliably gathered that the APC leadership and top chieftains of the party would be converging in Daura to commiserate with the President who recently lost two members of his extended family.

Reports have it that the second meeting of Tinubu with the president in Daura on Saturday might go beyond mere condolence visit.

“Look, in the next few weeks and months the president will continue to receive different groups and organisations whose sole aim is to put much pressure on him to declare his intention for re-election in 2019.

“So, those Nigerians calling on him to seek reelection would continue to seek audience with the president with hope that he will finally agree with them to sustain continuity in APC-led administration, come 2019,’’ the source said.

Politics / EFCC Rejects Patience Jonathan's Settlement Offer by henryvic3325(m): 3:55pm On Feb 19, 2018
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has asked the ex-First Lady to come before a court by entering into a plea bargain in line with the law.

The agency said it would only accept a plea bargain in which the court is carried along.

The EFCC believes that an out-of-court settlement suggests that there is a dispute between two parties.

A source, who spoke in confidence, said: “We have considered the January 30, 2018 letter by Dame Ibifaka Patience Jonathan; we are of the opinion that her offer of out-of-court settlement is strange and confounding as if there is a dispute between her and the EFCC.

“We are certainly rejecting the offer from the ex-First Lady because the EFCC does not engage in such a deal.

“But we prefer the ex-First Lady approaching a court for plea bargain in line with the relevant laws if she is ready to settle all issues. The terms of the plea bargain will be open to all parties before the court.

“I think she should emulate other high profile suspects who went to the court for plea bargain. We are ready to apply the laws in the interest of justice for all. We won’t oppose plea bargain.”

The source said the EFCC would soon make its position known to Patience Jonathan counsel, Ifedayo Adedipe (SAN).

“As an officer in the Temple of Justice, we know that the respected Senior Advocate of Nigeria(SAN) will guide the ex-First Lady accordingly,” he added.

Business / Top 10 Reasons Online Marketing Fails And What You Can Do About It by henryvic3325(m): 10:31am On Feb 14, 2018
There are many reasons why online marketing fails. It is crucial to decipher the chief reasons. Online marketing helps you to build a successful internet business at the same time it also aids in building a brand. But if wrong online marketing strategies are applied then your internet business can fail. Let us take a look at the top 10 reasons why online marketing fails:

1) Not incorporating new techniques

This is a foremost out of the top 10 reasons online marketing fails. You must understand that using SEO, Digg, Lenses, Mixx, Hubpages, E-zine or anything related to Web 2.0 technique will get you required success. However, some online business owners ignore it and stick with the outdated techniques that result in no results.

2) Not taking your work seriously

It is essential that you don’t treat your internet business like a hobby. When you are in a direct sales business or any internet business commitment is a necessity. You cannot compromise on commitment and ignore putting in efforts. You need to constantly plan new goals and complete them within time.

3) Not building a relationship with consumers, jumping to make sales

Forcing your readers will not make them your consumers. If you need to get subscribers to your mailing list or e-zines then provide required and accurate information. Always be available to answer their queries. The most common mistake that the online business owners make is of forcing their viewers. People hate any kind of compulsion. If they are reading your content then they need authentic information and removal of their doubts. Instead of resolving their doubts if you try to force your products upon them then you will get a negative response.

4) Not putting in hard work, wanting fast success

Many people start or join a direct sales business looking out for easy money. There is no such thing as free lunch therefore, there is no such thing as free money. Hence, effortless online marketing won’t fetch any positive results.

Celebrities / Here Is The Reason Why Adult Movies Are Called Blue Film by henryvic3325(m): 1:17am On Feb 13, 2018
While many of us might not have openly acknowledged the existence of adult films, we have time and again referred to it as “blue films”.

While the use of the term over the years has become common and we know exactly what it means, what majority of us don’t know is why is it called so.

Though there are several theories as to why we refer to these movies as “blue” movies and not red or any other colour, here are few of those explanations which seem much more valid than others.

1. It is believed that in the starting days adult films were very hard to make and always struggled to find financing.

These financial budgets were practically non-existent and film producers used to be very secretive about making such movies.

They thus created these movies at a very low-cost and quickly so as not to spend too much time on it.

The low-cost films thus used for these movies used to give it a bluish colour tint coining the name “blue movie”.

2. It is also said that in the hay days shopkeepers who used to sell these adult VCR cassettes wrapped in a blue colored package and they thus came to be known as ‘Blue films’.

3. While the above two reasons seem to come from the audience point of view, it is also said that the “Blue Film” terminology refers to a cinematic production which worked contradictory to the standard moral code in the movie industry.

To be more precise it basically meant that it was a spin-off of the “blue laws” that were followed in the States nearly 50-60 years back.

These blue laws didn’t allow businesses to operate on Sundays and these laws particularly targeted alcohol businesses, grocery stores, and few other commercial activities.
