Congrats bro,the advantages are that the Camp co-ordination was better than those that were in the first stream because they used the first stream to kind of test run the whole process and so it was better for the second stream.Another issue is that Issele-Uku camp is a lovely and lively camp with enough fun and activities that after the first stream the soldiers and the man-o-war who are supposed to drill you physically are kinda tired when it comes to stream 2 because they do not change the soldiers but rather they just get some few days rest after stream 1 to start up with stream 2.
And most importantly,it might interest you to know that the first allowance is paid in the camp and afterwards you get the second after one month but by the time we resumed for work our stream 1 guys were so slim because they paid us together and that means they were without pay for almost 2 months while we were fresh and flexing and to crown the whole thing up you will spend shorter time for NYSC than stream 1 because as God liveth POP is the same day and they would have reported for work probably one month before you report and they don't get any extra pay more than you.
Conclusively,just be praying they don't throw you to any of these three local governments BURUTU,BOMADI and PATANI,they are riverine areas and you might have to travel by boat to get there so you can imagine life there,take care.

Hey dude,you should have seen that some of your colleagues already said that Stream 1 is May 5th and Stream 2 is June 2nd so you definitely fall under Stream 1.
Just to intimate you guys a little about the camp as a nairalander and someone who has passed through that system as well.
Well my set happened to be the first set that witnessed the Stream 1 and Stream 2 stuff in the year 2008 and it has remained the only set to witness that until this present set of you guys and to be honest when i saw that i was stream 2 i was not happy cos my friends all happened to fall into stream 1 and considering the fact that my school UJ sent us for mobilization after one year of graduating made matters worse cos we were all anxious.
But to be honest,it was the best thing to ever happen to me and if you are in stream 2,i will say Congrats cos the advantages quite outweigh that of stream 1 and you want to know why?

Please guys i got the success mail but am wondering if anybody got any other venue to go for the CBT apart from Lagos.It seems we all are going to Lagos and i just checked that the venue for mine is at Unilag Faculty of Social Sciences,please i just need reply from the house so i can know if its worth taking the chance from Abuja to Lagos for the test.
