Romance › Re: Don't Build Your Lifestyle On Someone Else's Wallet by herich(m): 11:04pm On Jul 14 |
motymop: What I wrote still directly relates to the topic, you just aren't seeing the connection because of your moral bias
You are imagining an ideal world where nobody relies on anyone else for their lifestyle, but that’s not reality. Even in traditional households, many women depend entirely on their husbands for their lifestyle. Is that also leeching or do we only apply that label when we morally disapprove of the dynamic?
The lady in question is not a leech. While her path isn't one to emulate, she is rendering a service. You just can’t see it because your moral uprightness is blocking the view. If she weren't providing value that the politician highly prizes, he wouldn't be paying her rent, medical bills, and lifestyle expenses just to keep seeing her regularly.
It is still a transactional exchange of value, it’s just one that makes you uncomfortable. You're probably a leech. This is how you live your luxurious lifestyle from pockets of others |

motymop: It is true that I am not smart but I doubt if you even comprehend what I wrote.
You are working for your money right?
But the money is not magically appearing into your pocket
Whatever you are doing, someone has to pay for the service for you to have money.
You leave in a poor country obviously you wouldn't even understand how money moves around
Even if you are not depending on any uncle, aunty or yahoo boy etc, money has to exchange hands when you offer a service and it can come from any source and it will change hand millions of time
That is why I said, you think the world works in your ideal way but it does not work like that
Everyone depends on each other to make money.
If you don't get it, you can never get it I've tried to correct you that what your submission is totally different from the topic. The topic stated that the lady depends solely on the politician for house rent, medical, feeding and her general wellbeing. If I should depend on others, I should be depending on them to pay me on the service I rendered them and they also depends on me, on my service I'll render them. That is transactional dependence, as an exchange. The lady in quote is a leech and such character should not be emulate. Reason why I said, what you're saying is off the topic. |

free2ryhme: You have a problem cos your fabrication has been detected What matter most is the message being passed. Fables and folklore are never real. Even the parables of Jesus Christ were never real but the lesson that need to be learnt from the message is what matter most. |
Romance › Re: Don't Build Your Lifestyle On Someone Else's Wallet by herich(m): 9:41pm On Jul 11 |
motymop: You don't even know how the world works.
We are all depending on others for our survival
You that is "hardworking" who pays your salary
If they stop paying you, na depression you go enter Guy you're not smart, honestly. At least I'm working for my money. I'm not waiting for... Or depending on one uncle, elder brother in abroad, one Nigerian politician, one alhaji, one yahoo boy, one childhood friend, one sugar momma to send me monthly alawee before I could feed, wear clothes, shine and have joy. I guess, you're getting the message now and you're also seeing the difference. We all depends on each other sometimes, but it shouldn't be 100% dependency. Depending on others should be once in a blue moon and should be 10% |
Sports › Re: Rangers FC Of Enugu: Separating The Facts From The Lies by herich(m): 9:18pm On Jul 11 |
firearcher: Hmm. Why not just come out and address the specific allegation directly. That yes, Moses tried out for the club but was not signed due to.....and that was Moses said is untrue.
That's a proper response. What response do want from them again. They responded to show evidence that non igbos had held different positions in the club, both past and present. If after fact checking, we found out that rangers have never signed non Igbo as players, coach and admin Dept, then we can begin to validate what MS said. |
Sports › Re: Rangers FC Of Enugu: Separating The Facts From The Lies by herich(m): 9:06pm On Jul 11 |
Pillar12: Moses Simon said what he said, and we can’t pretend to know better than him. The truth is, he claims he was let go by Enugu Rangers and not given a fair chance because he’s not Igbo.
A couple of years ago, Burna Boy made a similar point about Igbos preferring their own over outsiders. These aren’t random people saying this.... they’re public figures with firsthand experience.
Many believe Igbos are very tribalistic but tend to downplay it, especially because non-Igbos rarely go to the Southeast. The perception is that Igbos are not very accommodating and are highly tribalistic. Tomorrow you'll change narratives that igbos are not united or no unity among Igbos, reason why they can never rule Nigeria. Most of you usually use it to mock igbos, that igbos hate themselves and igbos don't like themselves. But logically, you can't hate yourselves and still be tribalistic. That perception is what you're selling to yourselves from generation to generation. |

We all are depending on others for our lifestyle..this is fact
We depend on our employers for salaries We depend on customers for our business revenue We depend on families for gift Women depends on men to live their lifestyle Men depends on other men to live their lifestyle
The world works in a way that you have to depend on someone to live your lifestyle
I think at the end of the day what matters is that you have to save for the low times Be reasonable, what you're saying is totally different from the topic |

Goo0dHardDick: Igbos don't like speaking their language to themselves at all. They'll rather hide and speak it.
I was at the market months ago and the seller spoke Igbo to the young girl purchasing an item. The girl immediately started forming posh and asked the seller to speak in good English instead. Lol. Ujunwa feeling funky Some igbos were not born and brought up in Igbo land. Most of them did not grow up speaking Igbo, so they finds it difficult to communicate in Igbo or are not fluent or can't flow in Igbo language except when they get to their village or with family members who understands the trash they'll be vomit as Igbo language and who will also bear and forgive their language shortcomings. |

IgOga: The title means Head of Fulanis in Lagos. A recognition that they are aliens in Lagos but they have their leader
Lagos is very accommodating and everyone has lived in mutual peace with no party disrespecting the other until ipob showed their hand.
Tinubu appointed several Ibos into his cabinet as governor. Nobody made any noise
Many Tapa families are now indigenous Lagos families
Now you have ipobs aka developers saying Lagos is smelling, Lagos is no man's land, they wanted to burn down Tinubu's investments in Lagos, burnt down BRT bus terminals, burnt down world class forensic Lab at the direction of Nnamdi Kanu. The Ibos destroyed their good will and it will take decades to rebuild that. Ontop of that the Tinubu that had done more for Ibos as a governor was rejected at the presidential ballot. Now that Tinubu became president despite Ibos non support, it makes it more complicated for Ibos. And I think being loud about nonsense is not a wise move for Ibos So what does *Eze nd'igbo of Lagos, Ghana etc means. Is it not head of Igbos in lagos, Ghana etc. |

The typhoon and flood currently happening in developed countries of the world have killed more people than those killed in Nigeria. You think Nigeria can manage typhoon, tsunami. Millions will be going down every year, if typhoon hurricane happens in Nigeria. This small flood can be prevented if there was was drainage system. |
