Bat and the apc are bereft of good governance ideas and models.

Must reforms bring hardship?

I don't understand how some Nigerians have been so brainwashed to believe that reforms must bring hardship for the masses.

In developed countries, when reforms are undertaken, they are more associated with reducing hardship... reforms such as reducing taxes for middle to low income earners, expanding access to health care, introducing cost effective transport systems, reducing the interest rates for mortgages, reduced taxes on essential commodities etc... these are reforms that positively impact the masses.

When Brazil was encouraging transition to alternative fuels, it didn't arbitrarily allow an increase in fossil fuel prices. The government put in place incentives to encourage people to invest in and make use of alternative bio-fuels. The transition was smooth.

But in Nigeria, bat and apc want us to believe that reforms must bring suffering to the masses...
We are together sir,

The new taxes should be directed towards the subsidy beneficiaries so that they can pay for the free money they got for over a year
The people in government especially our state governors are the oil marketers benefiting from the oil subsidy. Most of them are oil Moguls before they came to power in order to protect their interest. I don't want to mention their names. Kindly do your findings thru Google.

We are not paying enough taxes as a country.
We are not saying we shouldn't pay tax , it shouldn't be on food items so that food can be affordable for all to eats like what is happening in western world.

Out there in Europe and American , food is the cheapest items for them there while in Nigeria food is the most expensive commodity.

Yorubas have destroyed this country.

Never again should they be allowed to ever rule this nation .
Power should only be allowed between hausa, ibo and us.
Never again will Yoruba be given power
We Yorubas don't care about who is ruling Nigeria as a country , once the person can rule us with transparency and accountability with good policies of social welfare for the benefits of all Nigerians irrespective of your tribe and religion. We are ok with it.

My Governor is trying . But Governors can never influence the prices of things. If dollar and fuel price reduces today, prices will reduce. It's simple logic
Well said sir, the economic policies of Tinubu government are the major issues , and he does not want changed it.
The taxes on consumable goods have been increased recently by the federal government without letting us know that's why the prices of goods keep on skyrocketing these days.

What are u talking about? In a federal republic you look up to the center or federal govt..if it was regional government, then no need...pls what's ur level of education? Primary secondary or University?
Bros, it should be a collective responsibility of every arms of government to make things work. A tree can never make a forest.

What's the essence of allocating and sharing resources with the state government and local on a monthly basis with out us feeling the impacts on the economy.

Where I blamed the federal government is that the government does not have good welfare packages for the citizens, this government is running a capitalist economy system where rich becoming more richer while poor people are push to their early graves.

You must be out of your senses to had mentioned Yoruba Muslims. Is it because Tinubu is a Muslim . Muslims does not support draconic laws , laws does not have human sympathy.

Tinubu government have actually turned hardworking Nigerians to beggars

The government should increase the tax on the consumable goods, let us see how the price of the goods would eventually fall
Once the tax increases on consumable goods, consumers will surely bear the burden because the price of goods and services will definitely increases

Politics › FG Introduces New Taxes On Consumable Goods by Herkim(op):
Federal govt should not introduce more taxes on consumable goods and services . for instance a bottle of soft drink will soon become N1,000 if care is not taking by the federal government tax policy.

The taxes they had introduced since the inception of Tinubu administration is making the prices of goods and services to go up geometrically and further increase in tax means more hardship in the country.

We are using this medium to beg federal government of Nigeria not to further increase the tariff on essential commodities, so that Nigerians can breathe rather than suffocating.

Thank you
