I was mailed and asked the following questions;
If I had left naija for Liberia b4 ( me that haven't even smelled seme border b4 * laffngInPigin*
Where I was within 2003-2006 ( I finished high school in 2004 then jamb shikena).
Docs were asked to substantiate the proof above!
If I had any military training DDR with orishirishi military terms ( I say me ke? Me that love life like kilode).
If I don fight voluntarily or forced ( I say ehehe!).
Then I should list the names of my siblings in which none don Eva comot for naija and 2 happily married and me 3rd born with a Br behind ( last born).
Na my case be that.. Na wrong identity dem dey worry on.
Maybe person wey dem dey find don Bleep up or on watched list but certainly not me.
Perhaps could be a matched name or some part of my data.
I just dey pray against akoba adaba up till now make baba God remove and exterminate am for my life oo!!!

Naxo I c am oo!!! When were u interviewed? And were u mailed for some security questions or told to submit any additional document? cos i was told to do all that on 3rd august that was 2 days after my interview. When is your school resuming? And finally, how many business days did it take?
Would apr8 those responses alot.

Congrat bro. My f1 has been on this administrative processing after my interview on 1st august. Although I was mailed to answer some security questions which I did and I haven't heard anything since then nor has my status changed from ceac data page. Can u kindly inbox me ur nos cos I want to ask u some confidential questions regarding did and ur own.

I am an f1 applicant. Did my interview at the US embassy Lagos consulate on 1st of August 2017.
Was handed a white paper which was marked "administrative processing". The VO told me I will be contacted in due course.
I was surely contacted 2says after with series of security questions which I was told in the email to answer with proofs attached before further adjudicating my visa application.
I did answer with required proofs and later got another mail the next day that my mail was received and forwarded to CGI for processing that I will be contacted once they are done..
My concern is that my lecture is resuming next week 16th August and am yet to get their feedback.
Any hope of getting their response in other to meet up with my program.
I am travelling for a graduate certificate program at Arkansas.

Just Singing GODWIN and dancing in my hood. Finally I made it. Every expecting persons here should tap into this blessing.

I completed OND,HND,PGD in Computer Science. Applying to do my Masters in Naija no make sense to me ooooo so I resorted to Finland application. After email correspondence to universities in Finland, I applied to eight universities (Aalto,Helsinki,UEF,TUT,LUT,Abo Akademi,UTA,Oulu) despite the fact that some didn't recognize my credentials to been equivalent to B.Sc Computer science. I still applied. Devil want work overtime when I took TOEFL on the 5th of December,2015. PHCN took the power and before it could be restored.... infact long story. Retook PTE on 12th January,2016 and scored 60 points. UAF accepted my transcripts. when admission results were coming, Rejections were busy coming and was emotionally down, In fact I almost cried when TUT I put my hope bleeped. But all was still cool. I did LUT interview on 7th April,2016 . On 19th April,2016 by 11:23 am, I got this mail from LUT after getting 7 rejects:

Thank you for applying to Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT).


We are happy to let you know that you have been conditionally accepted to the Master’s Programme in Computer Science – congratulations on your acceptance and welcome to LUT!

Being conditionally accepted means that, since you have applied as undergraduate your study right will be valid only, if you will graduate by July 31, 2016 and will be able to submit LUT Admissions Services an officially certified copy* for your Degree Certificate and the Transcript of Records together with official translations in English** for both these documents which have to be received by us by August 5, 2016 at 15:00 (GMT+2).

Your Admission Letter will be sent to you by regular mail on April 20, 2016.

Together with the Admission Letter you will receive all the necessary information on your arrival to Finland and Lappeenranta as well as on housing and starting your studies, including information on student tutoring and the Orientation Days.

While waiting for your Admission Letter to arrive, you can already have a look at the on-line version for the Arrival Instructions for International Degree Students at www.lut.fi/masters > Student Selection.

Please note that you need to accept your study place at LUT by June 3, 2016 and start your studies in Lappeenranta on August 30, 2016.

Kindly note that you may only accept one study place in Finland and the one you first accept will be the final choice for you.

In fact, anyone who desires to have a polytechnic certificate should rethink if he/she desires to move forward in Europe masters application because they value Bachelors more than Diplomas.

Good Day My Ogas at the top

My heart bled and eyes filled up with tears, I just dey vex. TUT declined my application this morning and I wrote back to them demanding to know the criteria used for my application. Prior to applying, I wrote them with regards to my stautes (OND,HND,PGD in computer science) with PTE score of 60. Just for them to send that trash. I am only left with LUT which i have done an interview last week. Oulu i am not sure of cos UAF said I am eligible, there PTE cutoff is 62 while i scored 60. UAF said they used my previous English studies to grade me in language requirement that is why I said i am not sure of Oulu. Please what do you suggest I do cos I am not comfortable staying in Nigeria here doing MSC in Nigeria. I wrote UEF stating exactly what I stated to TUT. Pray for me so LUT will accept me.Thanks

Just normal application. Browse the university website for infos on intended discipline, apply online, send transcripts and forward the online application with supporting documents..shikena

God is great! Without toefl, ielts, pte etc.., no original certificate but notification of result, incomplete status at UAF and rejection of my 3 transcripts...this is it!

We will send you the individual acceptance letters (direct or conditional
- in the case of conditional acceptance, you need to still deliver some
Pending papers, like the degree certificate after graduation this spring) early
next week by email with some other documents and at the same time we will send you some
practical information concerning the next steps.
 
Within next week or two we will offer some scholarships. Those have not been decided yet.

Despite uaf rejection of my transcripts and other complaints of sending notification of result rather than my certificate which is almost ready, I still got a good news today. God can work in so many ways....

Many greetings from IMPIT. We thank for your patience but we still need to ask some more of it. We received lots of good applications and we had to take some more time in order to be able to make the decision. The last meeting was today. If you are receiving this email, it means that you are on our list of applicants suggested to be accepted either conditionally (meaning that in the case of Deans positive decision you still need to provide the final degree certificate and such when you get them) or directly (no reason to provide any additional documents after the decision from the Dean). It is possible that we will get the decision from the Dean tomorrow, but it is possible that this is delayed until the next week.
 
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE, but we just wanted to let you know the situation and that we have suggested you to be accepted. We would appreciate that you would not write anything related to this to our FB page yet. As soon as we get the decision we will announce it.

I got an email from UEF acknowledging my scanned docs as advance copies of my application. But UAF peepz are still giving me tough time. Although my transcripts have been sent to them but the last time I got their mail, they said they will probably not accept my notification of result.
These people dey crase coz I told em my degree certificate is not ready and that they should contact my university, LASU, if they want to verify anything. Never heard from them though but am looking forward to receiving their mails anytime soon. As any1 heard or receive any mails from UAF recently?

Has anyone successfully appplied for any finnish master degree? My school submitted my transcripts through DHL over 3 to 4 weeks now and I haven't gotten any reply although application period is still ongoing..

Hello nairalanders. I have been following your wonderful posts all these while and I have to say that am really thrilled. I will be applying soon for a master programme @ a finnish uni but am practically interested in the issue of finances. I studied Electronics and Computer Engineering and would really like some1 to throw more light on the issue of finances coz I believe that's the most important thing to any embassy. My sponsor is thinking of depositing about 12500euros in my account for the 2 years master studies. Any other need for his own bank statement and fund declaration stuffs
