The irony of Nigerians and ponzi schemes You would think that with all the losses Nigerians have experienced with ponzi schemes they will dislike it right? Well the shocker is Nigerians cherish it, all you have to do is sell a get rich quick fantasy and you will sell in Nigeria. When I was still studying in the university alot of my course mates invested > 100,000 Naira in the then MMM and various other ponzi that swept off these good Nigerians their hard earned money, why? Because they were promised a quick double or triple. Looking back at 2018, if you had invested that 100,000 naira in the Nigerian Stock Market, a lot of companies have done more than 10x ... You should have atleast a million naira and still potential to grow into 10 million. This is truly how wealth is built. This is the part where I like to ask a realistic question, Look around you have you ever seen anybody that made it out of gambling? Honestly? How to Make Money on the Stock Market (Even if You’re a Total Beginner) Hey friends, Have you ever thought about investing in the stock market but felt completely clueless about where to start? Don’t worry you’re not alone! Everyone starts somewhere, and today, I’m sharing a simple guide to help you get started with confidence. 1. Understand What Stocks Are A stock is a small piece of ownership in a company. When you buy a stock, you’re investing in that company’s growth and success. As the company grows, so does the value of your investment. 2. Start Small You don’t need a fortune to begin investing. With platforms like Optimus, Afrinvestor, or Bamboo, you can start with as little as $1 or #1000! The goal is to start, learn, and grow from there. 3. Research Before You Invest Not all stocks are created equal. Learn about the companies you’re interested in what they do, their financial health, and their growth potential. A good place to start is by researching well-known, stable companies like Apple, Amazon, or Coca-Cola. I can teach you how to go about it, just send a DM 4. Think Long-Term The stock market isn’t a “get rich quick” scheme. Some of the most successful investors, like Warren Buffett, focus on long-term growth rather than short-term gains. Patience is key! 5. Use Simple Tools If you’re a beginner, apps like Acorns or Stash can automate your investments, while resources like YouTube or Investopedia can help you learn the basics at your own pace. 6. Diversify Your Investments Don’t put all your money in one stock. Spread your investments across different companies and industries to reduce risk. 7. Be Prepared for Ups and Downs The stock market has its highs and lows. Don’t panic if your investment dips, it’s part of the journey. Stay focused on your long-term goals. Start Now! The best way to learn is by doing. Start small, stay curious, and watch your financial knowledge grow alongside your investments. Have questions? Drop them in the comments or send a DM, and let’s build wealth together! Contact on WhatsApp @ 0.7.0.2.5.5.2.9.0.2.3 Let’s grow! |
