In this era of fake social media accounts, a Tiwa Savage impostor is on rampage. Fake social media accounts are now trending and Nigerian politicians, celebrities, and business moguls are the worst hit when you put together a roll call of victims of the nefarious acts put together by these unscrupulous people.
With the atrocities committed by the impostor who owns the fake Twitter account of late Muna Obiekwe still lingering in the minds of Nigerians, another case has just been reported. The worst part of this recently reported crime was the fact that this time, it did not happen on the social media.
Daily Independent reports that a Lagos politician and managing director of Lagos-based travel agency, Aeroland Travels, Segun Adewale popularly known as Aeroland, has been duped of 500k.
According to the report, Adewale, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Lagos West in the forthcoming 2015 election, lost half a million Naira to someone posing as the 34-years-old Mavin first lady, Tiwa Savage. Having declared his intention to run for Senate in 2015 again and obtaining his party’s nomination form in, Segun Adewale reportedly contacted the Tiwa Savage impostor to perform at his political declaration party.
The politician was however highly disappointed when the ‘Eminado’ crooner refused to show up at the event. Presently, Segun Adewale is banking on the financial institution through which the money was paid to help get what is left of the amount as a substantial part of the money has already been withdrawn from the beneficiary account.

So if he now decides to keep two more Sexual partners and that partner decides to keep two extra partners; two extra partners times two extra partners, you know it goes a long way.
That’s why sex is sacred to me and it shouldn’t be abused. It’s not like I have not had sex before or trying to be holy or something but it is just from own point of view that sex should be more like a ritual between two people.
What kind of intimacy gadgets do you use?
(Oh no)…. Don’t be like that. We’ll I have the center of gravity Stimulator, the regular Vibrator, the Love Machine and there is this small one called ‘Rabbit’.
When last did you have Sex?
Hahaha…. I can’t remember. It has been a while since I had sex with a human being because there are still many things to think about.

The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, during the rally in Kebbi state, pledged to end current epileptic power supply in the country which would boost the economy and attract domestic and foreign investment.
He assured his supporters that if elected, his administration would focus on the challenges facing the country- insecurity, corruption, unemployment and so on. He also pointed out that the agriculture sector would be explored, especially fishing and rice production which will boost the rural economy.
“I will revive mining industries and give loan to our businessmen and women in such a way that our economy will emerge stronger than ever. My administration would utilize resources prudently and end corruption through intensified anti-corruption crusade; build schools, provide materials and transportation for students.
“We will also be transparent and uphold trust and confidence entrusted in us by Nigerians, if elected into power in the 2015 elections,”he said.
Present at the rally was the governorship candidate, Alhaji Atiku Bagudo, who assured that the people of the state will vote for the party. He also pledged exploit the agriculture and mineral resources in the state to provide employment and generate revenue.

President of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan on the 15th of January 2015 led leaders of the legislature and judiciary, military and para-military organisations to honour fallen heroes of the nation.

The 2015 Armed Forces Remembrance Day wreath laying ceremony at the National Arcade, Abuja.

The theme of the Remembrance Day: “Appreciating The Nigerian Armed Forces,”.

Upon the President’s arrival, there was a general salute, recitation of the National Anthem and inspection parade.

The president laid a wreath, followed by Vice-President Namadi Sambo, the Senate President, Sen. David Mark, and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha.

Others who also laid wreaths are at the remembrance : the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmoud Mohammed, the Minister of Defence, retired Lt-Gen. Aliyu Gusau, and the FCT Minister, Malam Bala Mohammed.

The Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Kenneth Minimah, the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice-Adm. Usman Jibrin, and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu also laid wreaths.

Others who also laid the wreaths include: the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Suleiman Abba, the Dean of the Diplomatic corps and the High Commissioner of Mali to Nigeria, Mr Mahamane Maiga, and the Chairman of the Nigerian Legion, retired Col. Micah Gayya.
After the wreath was laid, military and para-military men on parade fired gun shots and saluted for the fallen heroes.
Goodluck released white pigeons, which signified freedom, unity, peace and harmony for the country and also signed the register.
The annual remembrance is held to honour fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and unity of the country.

At least, one person was killed and many others seriously injured armed youths shot at vehicles carrying supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Asari-Toru and Khana Local Government Areas of Rivers State to the presidential campaign of Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd).
The incidents were said to have happened at the same time (5.30am) as the party loyalties made their way to the Adokiye Amasiemaka Stadium in Omagwa, Ikwerre Local Government Area.
It was understood that nobody working for the opposition party,Peoples Democratic Partywas killed in the attack by armed youths said to be thugs along the Bori-Saakpenwa Road in Bori, Khana LGA.
An eyewitness, blamed a former militant leader who is a member of the PDP from Gokana LGA of being behind the attacks on the APC supporters.
Another source said five of the victims shot in Bori were rushed to a hospital in Port Harcourt where some bullets were removed from their bodies.
The APC Chairman in Ward Six, Khana LGA , Mr. Doole Adoonam, said the APC supporters were in three buses when they stumbled into an attack by some gunmen. He stated,
“Seven people from my ward are lying critically ill in the hospital. They sustained gunshot wounds from the early morning attack along Bori-Saakpenwa Road.
“Those injured were APC faithful, who were on their way to attend the commencement of the campaign by the APC presidential candidate, in Port Harcourt. On approaching the Mile 30 axis of Bori Saakpenwa Road, some gunmen opened fire on two of our buses, injuring some of my party men and women.

Nigerian President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan yesterday presided over the inauguration of the PDP’s Presidential Campaign Committee in Abuja ahead of next month’s General Elections.
Speaking during the Inauguration President Jonathan said: “you must always remember we are a party of democrats, not a party of hooligans. We are a party of patriots not a party of renegades. We are a party of statemen and women. We are a party of builders not destroyers. We are a party of committed servants of the people. You must let our people see once again, that we are in this to serve and to move Nigeria forward, not to move Nigeria backward.”
The President said he is fully convinced that the campaign team would work as a team and also has all that it takes- “the passion, intellect, drive, commitment and the know-how to run a focused, robust and purposeful campaign that will further endear our ticket to the electorate and bring us victory once again. Many of you are tested veterans of political campaigns.
Speaking during his own speech, the Director of the Presidential Campaign Committee, Ahmadu Ali said: “Let the word go out to all and sundry that our conduct during this presidential campaign would be exemplary because we have the fear of the Almighty God. Let me restate the fact that our Party, the PDP, is in power. We are the defending champion with the belt tightly around our waists.”

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, at the weekend, asked the federal government to stop losing 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day, which he said, could earn the country nearly $7.8 billion per annum at $50 per barrel.

The governor also faulted the austerity measures the federal government put in place to stem the impact of the unprecedented decline of oil prices on the international markets, describing the measures as deceptive.

He stated this on Sunday at an interactive session with the union leaders of tertiary institutions organised with the vice-presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and the APC governorship candidate in Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, at the Tafawa Balewa Square Hall.

At the session, the governor said the austerity measures proposed by the federal government “is a deceptive policy. The official excuse it gave that because it was losing 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day, the people have to tighten their belts is not tenable.

“Largely because of their inefficiency, they have now come to say tighten your belt as austerity has come. Stop losing 400,000 barrels first because 400,000 barrels even at $50 would give you about $20 million per day. When you multiply that by the number of days in a year you will know how much we are losing.”

Fashola, also, faulted the recourse “to an increase in Value Added Tax (VAT) as part of the belt-tightening regime. So before you come back to the citizen to say tighten your belt, you must do your job first.

“They are now saying one of the ways they are going to raise money in austerity is that they are going to increase VAT which means that all of the consumables like water and coca-cola would cost more.

“That is why we quarrel with that austerity formula. We think that this is a time when you need creative and effective people in the economy. The government that cannot deliver electricity to you and cannot deliver security and could not buy guns for armed forces when oil was selling at over 100 dollars per barrel cannot do it when oil price is 50 dollars per barrel. They cannot do more with less because they cannot do anything with more.”

He said the example of Lagos was basically “to demonstrate that government can indeed work. Seven years ago in Lagos, banks used to be robbed and there was no capacity to respond which was a challenge for the present government to confront.

“Today there have been no successful bank robberies in Lagos since 2008 except those who go and break ATM. That is a demonstration that government can work. In 2007 there was no street light in Lagos and there was no street that you could point to and say there would be street lights here at night. What that meant is that after 7pm you could not buy fuel.
