I AM A CHRISTIAN I am a child of covenant. I occupy a sensitive position. I am not an ordinary or common man but I’m very special and unique. We may occupy the same position, stay and even walk together and have the same privileges but I am different. I must uphold the Bible's standards in everything, everywhere and at every time. My conducts, attitudes, behavior, comportment and language must be to show, attest to and proof it. Transparency, dedication, devotion, faithfulness and fearlessness are my hallmarks. I hold tenaciously, tightly, cherish and embrace the traditions of my godly fathers. I whole heartedly imbibe and pledge allegiance to my father’s faith, convictions and lifestyle. I am a Christian. It is already part of me, I cannot hide my identity no matter the situation or challenge. I care not, mind not who is offended and what I lose provided my God is pleased. The threats of man cannot intimidate me. Christians don’t bow to any man, I can’t bow! The desire for promotion, gain, acceptance, assistance cannot make me bow. The fear of expulsion, banishment or death cannot make me bow. The persuasions and promises of men cannot make me bow. The feeling of loneliness, lace of support, confidants, and companionship cannot make me bow. I cannot bow my convictions and constitutions are unchangeable and unalterable. I am not a man of popular opinion; I cannot join the bandwagon of lawless people. What doesn’t matter to you actually matters to me seriously. You are at liberty to do anything you want to but I’m gauged, restrained, restricted and regulated in everything by the law of my God. You may out number me but as a single man I am determined to stand. I must lift the banner of the Christ high in every place and at every time! This is the Christian life! Courtesy: Kyau |

What are your favourite Christian choruses. I do not mean hymns just short songs that do not have stanzas. Most of which we sing during praise and worship. Can you share yours? |
