There's this place that caught me: Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."

I've studied on this verse countless times but this time, it seems there's a message here I'm not getting. Seems I'm seeing that portion for the first time. I haven't been able to get the message though. Could you share a little bit on that verse?

Hmmm...what am I going to say that you've not heard before? It's the next verse that's really hit me before...but for this one what strikes me is the 'body', 'living' and 'reasonable'. Our bodies (not just spirits/minds/hearts). So what we do/say/touch/wear and where we go to with our bodies matter to Him. Living - a sacrifice is supposed to be dead. Meaning it's possible to lay ourselves on altar and jump down again and again since we're living. So staying on the altar involves a daily conscious thing. Reasonable - giving our living bodies back to Him is reasonable. It ain't foolish or illogical as the world thinks. It's the least we can offer to Him who loves us so.
