WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 28th September, 2026 DAY 271 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (263) THE GATE OF DAILY FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD — THE BATTLE AGAINST SPIRITUAL DISCONNECTION One of the greatest battles you must win as a Christian is the battle to maintain daily fellowship with God. Salvation is not merely about attending church, carrying a Bible, or identifying as a Christian. Christianity is a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ. A person can become so occupied with work, family, ministry, business, money, social activities, and the cares of life that fellowship with God gradually becomes neglected. When fellowship with God becomes weak, spiritual sensitivity can also become weak. You may still look religious outwardly while becoming increasingly disconnected inwardly. God does not want you to know about Him only; He wants you to walk with Him. BIBLE PASSAGE “...Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you...” James 4:8, KJV The Christian life begins with coming to Christ and continues by walking closely with Him. Daily fellowship with God gives you an opportunity to: --Hear His Word. --Seek His direction. --Examine your heart. --Receive strength. --Develop spiritual sensitivity. --Grow in obedience. --Maintain communion with Christ. A person who continually draws near to God will not easily become comfortable living far from Him. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus did not call you merely to believe in Him from a distance. He called you to abide in Him. “...Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine...” John 15:4, KJV A branch does not produce fruit by occasionally touching the vine. Its life depends upon remaining connected to the vine. In the same way, spiritual fruitfulness requires continual fellowship with Christ. You cannot expect yesterday's prayer to sustain today's spiritual battle. You cannot depend permanently on yesterday's Bible study, yesterday's revelation, yesterday's encounter, or yesterday's spiritual experience. Yesterday's fellowship with God was real, but today's relationship with God must also be real. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus Himself demonstrated the importance of maintaining fellowship with the Father. “...And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed...” Mark 1:35, KJV If Jesus deliberately made time for prayer and communion with the Father, we must not assume that we can successfully live the Christian life without consistent fellowship with God. Christ has made access to God possible. Through Him: “...For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father...” Eph.2:18, The issue is therefore not whether God has made a way for you to come near. The question is whether you are making ourselves available to come near. WHAT DESTROYS DAILY FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD? Several things can gradually weaken your fellowship with God: --Spiritual laziness. --Excessive involvement in worldly activities. --Uncontrolled use of social media and entertainment. --Prayerlessness. --Neglect of God's Word. --Unconfessed sin. --Love of money and material things. --Busyness without spiritual priorities. --Distractions and unnecessary relationships. --Depending on other people's spiritual experiences instead of seeking God personally. The danger is that spiritual disconnection often happens gradually. A person may miss prayer today, neglect the Word tomorrow, become distracted the next day, and eventually discover that weeks or months have passed without meaningful fellowship with God. HOW TO MAINTAIN DAILY FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD 1. Make God your first priority. “...But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness...”Matt. 6:33, Do not give God whatever time remains after everything else has been done. Give Him a deliberate place in your daily life. 2. Develop a consistent prayer life. Prayer should not be limited to emergencies. Talk to God when things are going well and when things are difficult. 3. Read and meditate on God's Word. “...Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee...” Psal 119:11 The Word keeps your heart spiritually nourished and helps you recognize God's ways. 4. Practise obedience. Fellowship with God cannot be separated from obedience to God. Jesus said: “...If ye love me, keep my commandments...” John 14:15 5. Create moments of quietness. Sometimes you need to step away from noise, phones, conversations, entertainment, and unnecessary activities so that you can give God your undivided attention. 6. Examine your heart regularly. Ask yourself: “Am I still walking closely with Christ, or am I merely maintaining a Christian appearance?” LIFE ILLUSTRATION Imagine a man who owns a beautiful house but rarely returns home. He may have furniture, electricity, water, security, and everything necessary for comfortable living, but if he continually stays away from his home, his relationship with that environment becomes practically meaningless. In the same way, a Christian may possess a Bible, attend church, sing worship songs, participate in ministry, and even preach to others, while personally neglecting fellowship with God. Religious activity cannot replace personal fellowship with Christ. Martha was busy serving Jesus, but Mary chose to sit at His feet and hear His word. Jesus said: “...Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her...” Luke 10:42 The lesson is not that service is unnecessary. The lesson is that service must never replace fellowship with the One we are serving. SIGNS THAT YOUR FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD IS WEAKENING Ask yourself honestly: --Do I still desire to pray when nobody is watching? --Do I still enjoy reading God's Word? --Do I seek God's direction before making important decisions? --Does sin still trouble my conscience? --Do I worship God only when circumstances are favourable? --Am I becoming more interested in material things than spiritual things? --Do I spend more time consuming worldly content than seeking God's presence? --Am I serving God publicly while neglecting Him privately? These questions are not designed to condemn you. They are designed to help you diagnose your spiritual condition before spiritual weakness becomes spiritual collapse. THE DANGER OF LIVING ON YESTERDAY'S EXPERIENCE Israel could not gather yesterday's manna indefinitely. Every day required fresh provision. Likewise, your spiritual life requires continual nourishment. Your father's faith cannot substitute for your personal walk with God. Your pastor's prayer cannot replace your own prayer life. Your church attendance cannot replace personal fellowship with Christ. Another person's testimony cannot become your daily relationship with God. You must know Christ for yourself. Paul expressed this personal pursuit when he said: “...That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings...” Philippians 3:10, KJV There is always more of Christ to know. SELF-EVALUATION Take a few minutes today and answer these questions honestly: --How much time do I intentionally spend with God each day? --When was the last time I prayed without asking God for material things? --When was the last time God's Word corrected something in my life? --Have I allowed busyness to replace fellowship? --Is there any known sin affecting my relationship with God? --Am I closer to Christ today than I was one year ago? --What practical change must I make to strengthen my daily fellowship with God? Do not merely answer these questions. Act on what God reveals to you. CALL TO DECISION Today, return to the place of daily fellowship with God. If prayer has become irregular, rebuild your prayer life. If Bible study has become neglected, return to God's Word. If distractions have taken control of your time, establish spiritual priorities again. If sin has created distance between you and God, repent and return to Him. Do not wait until you are in trouble before you seek God. Walk with Him before the battle comes. Make fellowship with God a daily priority, not an occasional emergency response. LITTLE WISDOM You cannot remain spiritually strong while continually neglecting the Source of your spiritual strength. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, draw me closer to You every day. Deliver me from spiritual laziness, prayerlessness, distraction, worldly obsession, and everything that weakens my fellowship with You. Give me a deeper hunger for Your Word and a stronger desire to pray. Help me to seek Your presence before seeking the things of this world. Give me grace to obey what You reveal to me and to walk faithfully in Your ways. Let my relationship with You become stronger, deeper, and more consistent every day. May I never become so busy serving You that I neglect knowing You. Help me to abide in You, bear lasting fruit, and remain faithful until the end. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 27th September, 2026 DAY 270 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (262) THE GATE OF LASTING WEALTH — THE BATTLE AGAINST TEMPORARY SUCCESS One of the greatest battles you must win on your journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against building wealth that cannot last. Making money is one thing; preserving, multiplying, and transferring wealth wisely is another. Some people experience financial increase but lose it through waste, poor decisions, excessive spending, bad investments, or lack of planning. God wants you to develop wisdom that allows your resources to serve you, your families, and future generations responsibly. BIBLE PASSAGE “...A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children...” Proverbs 13:22 Godly financial wisdom thinks beyond today. Lasting wealth is not merely about what you possess now, but what you are able to preserve and responsibly pass on. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY “...A faithful man shall abound with blessings...” Proverbs 28:20 Faithfulness is essential to lasting success. A person who cannot faithfully manage little may eventually waste much. Jesus said: “...He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much...” Luke 16:10 CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus warned against building life around possessions. “...For a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth...” Luke 12:15 Wealth is a tool, not the purpose of life. Lasting wealth must never become more important than your relationship with God, your character, your family, or your eternal destiny. WHAT DESTROYS LASTING WEALTH? --Wasteful spending. --Lack of financial planning. --Living beyond your means. --Unwise investments. --Dishonest business practices. --Failure to save and prepare for the future. --Pride after financial success. --Neglecting the next generation. --Allowing greed to control financial decisions. HOW TO BUILD LASTING WEALTH --Build honestly. --Spend wisely. --Save consistently. --Invest prudently. --Protect your assets. --Avoid unnecessary debt. --Teach your children financial wisdom. --Use your wealth to serve God's purpose. --Plan for the future rather than living only for today. LIFE ILLUSTRATION Two men become financially successful. One increases his lifestyle every time his income increases. He buys expensive things, accumulates unnecessary debts, and makes little provision for the future. The other increases his income but maintains discipline. He saves, invests, protects his assets, supports his family, and teaches his children how to manage money. Years later, their financial conditions are very different. The lesson is simple: Financial success is not proven by how quickly you become wealthy, but by how wisely you preserve what you have built. CALL TO DECISION Ask yourself: If my income stopped today, how long could the wealth I have built sustain my family? Today, decide to build beyond temporary success. Develop financial discipline, preserve your resources, invest wisely, teach your children, and prepare for the future. Let your financial breakthrough become a foundation for generations, not merely a season of comfort. LITTLE WISDOM Making money may change your lifestyle, but wisdom is what makes wealth last. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me wisdom to build and preserve lasting wealth. Deliver me from wastefulness, greed, pride, unnecessary debt, and foolish financial decisions. Teach me to save, invest, protect, and manage my resources wisely. Help me to establish a strong financial foundation for my family and future generations. May my wealth never become an idol, but may everything You place in my hands serve Your purpose and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 26th September, 2026 DAY 269 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (261) THE GATE OF MULTIPLICATION THROUGH WISE INVESTMENT — THE BATTLE AGAINST FINANCIAL STAGNATION One of the greatest battles you must win on your journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against financial stagnation and the failure to multiply what God has entrusted to you. God does not only want you to receive resources; He wants you to learn how to manage, preserve, multiply, and use them wisely. The goal is not to chase every investment opportunity. The goal is to develop the wisdom to identify legitimate opportunities, understand the risks, and invest according to your capacity. BIBLE PASSAGE “...And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold...” Genesis 24:35 Abraham was blessed with substantial resources, including livestock, silver, and gold. His wealth was not merely something he possessed; it was something he managed as part of God's blessing and purpose. Job also provides an example of substantial and diversified resources: “...His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses...” Job 1:3 These passages show that biblical prosperity can involve productive and diversified assets. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus taught the principle of faithful stewardship through the parable of the talents. “...Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things...” Matthew 25:21 God expects you to be faithful with what He places in your hand. Financial multiplication requires knowledge, patience, discipline, and wise decision-making. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus taught that resources should not be buried through fear. The servant who buried his talent failed to use what had been entrusted to him. “...Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers...” Matthew 25:27 The lesson is not that every investment is guaranteed to succeed. It is that fear, ignorance, and inactivity should not prevent responsible stewardship. HOW FINANCIAL STAGNATION MANIFESTS --Keeping all resources idle because of fear. --Spending everything instead of saving or investing. --Investing without understanding what you are buying. --Putting all your money into one opportunity. --Chasing unrealistic returns. --Following people's investment advice without investigation. --Borrowing recklessly to invest. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Learn before you invest. --Start according to your capacity. --Diversify wisely rather than putting everything in one place. --Understand the risks and potential returns. --Avoid promises of unrealistic profits. --Invest patiently rather than chasing quick wealth. --Seek competent and trustworthy counsel when necessary. --Never invest money needed for essential responsibilities. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A man receives some money and immediately spends everything on temporary pleasures. Another man receives a similar amount. He provides for his responsibilities, keeps an emergency reserve, and uses part of what remains to invest in a legitimate and understandable opportunity. Years later, the first man has memories of what he bought, while the second has assets that continue producing value. The lesson is simple: Money that is wisely managed can become an instrument for future multiplication. CALL TO DECISION Ask yourself: Am I only consuming what comes into my hands, or am I learning how to multiply it wisely? Today, decide to become a better financial steward. Learn, plan, save, invest wisely, and remain patient. Do not allow fear to keep everything stagnant, and do not allow greed to push you into reckless investments. LITTLE WISDOM Do not merely ask God for more resources; ask Him for the wisdom to multiply and manage what He has already placed in your hands. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me wisdom to manage and multiply every resource You entrust to me. Deliver me from financial ignorance, fear, greed, impatience, and reckless investments. Give me understanding to recognize legitimate opportunities, discernment to identify financial traps, and discipline to invest patiently. Teach me to provide for my responsibilities, save wisely, invest prudently, and use financial increase for Your glory. May what You place in my hands not be wasted, but wisely managed and multiplied. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 25th September, 2026 DAY 268 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (260) THE GATE OF FINANCIAL FREEDOM — THE BATTLE AGAINST DEBT BONDAGE One of the greatest battles you must win on your journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against unnecessary and uncontrolled debt. Debt can become a heavy burden when a person repeatedly borrows beyond his ability to repay. It can consume future income, create anxiety, damage relationships, and limit the ability to save, invest, and support important responsibilities. Not every debt is automatically wrong, but unwise debt can become a form of financial bondage. BIBLE PASSAGE “...The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender...” Proverbs 22:7 Debt can reduce financial freedom. When too much of tomorrow's income is committed to today's spending, your future becomes restricted. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY “...Owe no man any thing, but to love one another...” Romans 13:8 The Bible encourages believers to live responsibly and honour their financial obligations. If you owe someone, do not ignore the debt. Face it honestly and develop a realistic plan to repay it. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus teaches you to live with wisdom and contentment rather than allowing material desires to control you. “...Take heed, and beware of covetousness...” Luke 12:15 Many unnecessary debts begin with the desire to possess things we cannot presently afford. Financial freedom requires learning to distinguish between needs, wants, and unnecessary pressure. HOW DEBT BONDAGE MANIFESTS --Borrowing to maintain an appearance of wealth. --Using loans for unnecessary consumption. --Taking new loans to repay old ones without a repayment strategy. --Ignoring debts until they become overwhelming. --Borrowing because of pressure from friends or society. --Using borrowed money for risky investments without understanding the risk. --Failing to budget before taking financial commitments. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Stop unnecessary borrowing. --Know exactly how much you owe. --Create a realistic repayment plan. --Reduce unnecessary expenses. --Avoid borrowing simply to impress people. --Increase legitimate income where possible. --Seek wise financial counsel when debt becomes difficult to manage. --Learn contentment and financial discipline. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A man earns a reasonable income but continually borrows to buy things he cannot afford. Every month, much of his income goes toward repayment. Another person with similar income chooses to live within his means, save gradually, and buy things when he can genuinely afford them. After several years, one is still struggling under repayment while the other has greater financial freedom. The lesson is simple: A lifestyle you cannot afford today may become a burden on your tomorrow. CALL TO DECISION Ask yourself: Is my present lifestyle creating financial freedom or future financial bondage? Today, decide to stop unnecessary borrowing, face your existing obligations honestly, control your spending, and build your finances patiently. Do not borrow merely to look successful. True financial progress is not only about what you can acquire; it is also about what you can afford without destroying your future. LITTLE WISDOM If you continually spend tomorrow's income today, you may eventually discover that tomorrow belongs to your creditors. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me wisdom and discipline to manage my finances properly. Deliver me from unnecessary borrowing, uncontrolled spending, covetousness, and financial pressure caused by trying to impress others. Give me grace to honour my financial obligations, wisdom to create a repayment plan, and diligence to increase my legitimate income. Teach me to live within my means and build financial freedom patiently. May I never become a slave to debt. Let my finances honour You and bless my family. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 24th September, 2026 DAY 267 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (259) THE GATE OF DIVINE FAVOUR — THE BATTLE AGAINST SELF-RELIANCE One of the greatest battles you must win on your journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against depending entirely on your own strength, connections, and abilities. Diligence, knowledge, planning, and hard work are important, but there are doors that human effort alone cannot open. Divine favour can give you opportunities, relationships, access, and breakthroughs that your efforts could not produce by themselves. However, favour is not a substitute for diligence. Favour works with preparation and faithful obedience. BIBLE PASSAGE “...For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield...” Psalm 5:12 Divine favour is God's gracious help and goodwill upon a person's life. When God favours you, He can cause the right people to notice you, open the right doors, and create opportunities beyond your natural expectation. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY “...And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man...” Luke 2:52 Jesus grew in wisdom and also in favour. This teaches you that favour can operate alongside growth, preparation, character, and wisdom. Do not merely pray for favour; prepare yourself to handle the doors favour opens. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus depended completely on the Father. “...I can of mine own self do nothing...” John 5:30 His life teaches you that true success does not come from self-confidence alone, but from dependence upon God. HOW SELF-RELIANCE MANIFESTS --Believing you can succeed without God. --Depending only on human connections. --Taking credit for everything God has helped you accomplish. --Ignoring prayer while pursuing financial opportunities. --Rejecting wise counsel because of excessive confidence in yourself. --Forgetting God after experiencing financial success. HOW TO WALK IN DIVINE FAVOUR --Trust God while working diligently. --Walk in obedience and integrity. --Develop your skills and prepare for opportunities. --Treat people with kindness and respect. --Pray for divine direction. --Remain humble when God opens doors. --Use favour to bless others, not merely yourself. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A qualified young man applies for several opportunities without success. He continues improving his skills, praying, and remaining faithful. Eventually, someone who recognizes his character and ability recommends him for an opportunity he could not have accessed by himself. His preparation created capacity, but favour opened the door. The lesson is simple: Prepare as though everything depends on your effort, but trust God as though everything depends on Him. CALL TO DECISION Ask yourself: Am I trusting God while doing my part, or am I depending entirely on myself? Today, surrender your plans to God. Work diligently, develop yourself, pray faithfully, and trust God to open the doors that are right for you. LITTLE WISDOM Preparation makes you ready for opportunity, but divine favour can bring opportunities you could never create by yourself. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, let Your divine favour rest upon my life. Open the right doors for me and connect me with the right people and opportunities. Give me wisdom to recognize Your favour, discipline to prepare for what You are bringing, and humility to give You the glory when doors open. Deliver me from self-reliance and teach me to depend on You while faithfully doing my part. Let Your favour bring opportunities that will advance my life, bless my family, and glorify Your name. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 23rd September, 2026 DAY 266 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (258) THE GATE OF HONEST GAIN — THE BATTLE AGAINST DISHONEST WEALTH One of the greatest battles you must win on your journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against the desire to gain wealth through dishonesty. Financial pressure can tempt people to lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, deceive customers, falsify records, evade responsibilities, or take what does not belong to them. But wealth obtained through dishonesty may increase your possessions while destroying your peace, reputation, character, and relationship with God. God wants us to prosper through legitimate labour, wisdom, diligence, integrity, and faithful stewardship. BIBLE PASSAGE “...Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase...” Prov. 13:11 God values honest labour and patient increase. Not every profitable opportunity is a righteous opportunity. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY “...Provide things honest in the sight of all men...” Romans 12:17 A Christian's financial life must be consistent with his faith. You should not claim to belong to Christ while using dishonest methods to make money. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus rejected Satan's offer of worldly power and glory because He would not obtain it through disobedience. “...Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve...” Luke 4:8 Christ teaches us that no financial gain is worth compromising obedience to God. HOW DISHONEST GAIN MANIFESTS --Lying to obtain money. --Cheating customers or business partners. --Stealing or misappropriating money. --Using false information to secure financial advantage. --Refusing to pay people what they have legitimately earned. --Taking advantage of someone's ignorance or desperation. --Participating in fraudulent schemes. --Calling dishonest wealth “blessing.” HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Choose integrity over quick profit. --Work honestly and diligently. --Be truthful in business and financial dealings. --Reject fraudulent opportunities, even when they appear profitable. --Be accountable with money entrusted to you. --Remember that God's blessing does not require disobedience. “...Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith...” Proverbs 15:16 LIFE ILLUSTRATION Two businessmen discover an opportunity to make a large amount of money by deceiving their customers. One accepts it because he is interested only in profit. The other rejects it because he values his integrity more than the money. The first may become richer temporarily, but the second protects something money cannot buy: a clean conscience and a good name. The lesson is simple: Never become rich by doing what you will later need God to forgive you for. CALL TO DECISION Ask yourself: Am I pursuing financial increase through methods that God can approve? Today, reject dishonest gain. Choose integrity even when honesty appears slower and less profitable. It is better to grow slowly with God than to become rich quickly without Him. LITTLE WISDOM Money gained dishonestly can increase your possessions while decreasing your peace. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me the grace to pursue financial increase with honesty and integrity. Deliver me from greed, deception, fraud, theft, manipulation, and every temptation to obtain wealth through unrighteous means. Give me wisdom, diligence, legitimate opportunities, and strength to remain faithful even when dishonest gain appears attractive. Let my financial success never cost me my character, peace, or relationship with You. Bless the work of my hands and make me a faithful steward of every resource You entrust to me. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 21st September, 2026 DAY 264 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (256) THE GATE OF FINANCIAL PEACE — THE BATTLE AGAINST FINANCIAL ANXIETY One of the greatest battles you must win on your journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against financial anxiety. Financial pressure can make you constantly worry about bills, debts, family responsibilities, business, tomorrow's needs, and unexpected expenses. When anxiety takes control, it can affect your judgment, steal your peace, weaken your faith, and push you into desperate financial decisions. God wants you to be responsible with money, but He does not want money to become the master of your heart. BIBLE PASSAGE “...Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God...” Philippians 4:6 Paul does not say that you will never face financial challenges. He teaches you not to allow anxiety to control you. Take your financial concerns to God through prayer while taking responsible steps to address them. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus said: “...Therefore take no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself...” Matthew 6:34 Worry cannot solve tomorrow's problems. It only consumes today's strength. Faith allows you to face today's responsibility without allowing tomorrow's uncertainty to destroy today's peace. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus teaches you to trust our heavenly Father. “...your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things...” Matthew 6:32 God knows what you need. Therefore, do not allow financial pressure to make you forget God's faithfulness. Pray. Plan. Work. Save. Seek counsel. But refuse to live in constant fear. HOW FINANCIAL ANXIETY MANIFESTS --Constantly worrying about money. --Losing sleep because of financial problems. --Expecting the worst in every financial situation. --Making hurried decisions because of fear. --Borrowing simply to silence anxiety. --Comparing your financial life with others. --Allowing financial pressure to destroy your peace and relationships. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Take your financial concerns to God. --Separate what you can control from what you cannot control. --Make a realistic financial plan. -Deal with debts and obligations responsibly. --Avoid decisions made out of panic. --Remember God's previous faithfulness. “...I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken...” Psalm 37:25 LIFE ILLUSTRATION Two people receive unexpected financial challenges. One becomes overwhelmed by fear and begins making desperate decisions. The other acknowledges the problem, prays, reviews his finances, cuts unnecessary expenses, seeks wise counsel, and takes one responsible step at a time. The problem may be similar, but their responses are different. The lesson is simple: Financial pressure requires wisdom; financial anxiety requires faith and peace. CALL TO DECISION Ask yourself: Is money controlling my peace, or am I allowing God to control my heart? Today, refuse to let financial pressure dominate your thoughts. Pray about your needs, make wise plans, take responsible action, and trust God with the things beyond your control. LITTLE WISDOM Worry about money cannot create money, but wisdom, diligence, prayer, and peace can help you make better financial decisions. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me from financial anxiety and fear. Help me to trust You when my resources appear insufficient. Give me wisdom to manage my finances, courage to face my responsibilities, and discipline to make sound decisions. Do not allow financial pressure to steal my peace, destroy my relationships, or push me into wrong decisions. Teach me to pray instead of panic, plan instead of worry, and trust You while faithfully doing my part. Let Your peace guard my heart and mind. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 20th September, 2026 DAY 263 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (255) THE GATE OF FAITH FOR PROVISION — THE BATTLE AGAINST FEAR OF LACK One of the greatest battles you must win on your journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against fear, anxiety, and unbelief concerning God's provision. There may be seasons when resources are limited, opportunities seem few, and your needs appear greater than your income. In such moments, fear can make you panic, borrow recklessly, compromise your integrity, or make decisions without wisdom. Faith teaches you to trust God while continuing to work, plan, save, and act responsibly. BIBLE PASSAGE “...But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus...” Philippians 4:19 God is our ultimate source. Your job, business, salary, customers, and opportunities may be channels, but God remains the Provider. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY “...Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?...” Matthew 6:25 Jesus does not teach laziness or irresponsibility. He teaches you not to allow anxiety about material needs to control your heart. Faith says: “I will do my part faithfully, and I will trust God with what is beyond my control.” CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus demonstrated complete trust in the Father's provision. When thousands were hungry, He did not panic because the available food appeared insufficient. He took what was available, gave thanks, and God multiplied it. “...And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude....” Matthew 14:19 God can use what appears small when it is placed in His hands. HOW FEAR OF LACK MANIFESTS --Constantly worrying about tomorrow. --Making financial decisions out of desperation. --Borrowing unnecessarily because of fear. --Compromising integrity to get money. --Refusing to give because of fear that nothing will remain. --Comparing your financial situation with others. --Believing that your present condition will remain forever. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Trust God as your ultimate Provider. Work faithfully. “...For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat...” — 2 Thessalonians 3:10 --Pray about your needs. --Plan and manage what God has already placed in your hands. --Reject financial decisions driven by fear. --Remember God's past faithfulness. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A farmer has only a small quantity of seed. Instead of eating everything because he fears tomorrow, he plants some of it, carefully manages what remains, and continues to trust God. The seed may look small in his hand, but it represents a future harvest. Likewise, do not despise what God has placed in your hands because it appears insufficient. Faith sees possibility where fear sees shortage. CALL TO DECISION Ask yourself: Am I making financial decisions from faith and wisdom, or from fear and desperation? Today, reject the fear of lack. Trust God, work diligently, plan wisely, and remain faithful. Do not let temporary shortage push you into permanent mistakes. LITTLE WISDOM Faith does not deny the reality of need; faith believes that God can provide while you faithfully do your part. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me from the fear of lack and financial anxiety. Teach me to trust You as my Provider while working diligently and managing my resources wisely. Give me wisdom to recognize opportunities, discipline to use what I have properly, and faith to believe You for what I cannot produce by my own strength. Let fear never drive me into wrong financial decisions or compromise my integrity. Provide for my needs and bless the work of my hands. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 19th September, 2026 DAY 262 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (254) THE GATE OF JUSTICE — THE BATTLE AGAINST OPPRESSING THE POOR One of the greatest battles you must win on your journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against oppressing, exploiting, or taking advantage of the poor. Having financial strength does not give anyone the right to mistreat those who have less. God expects you to use your resources and influence with justice, compassion, and integrity. Some people become comfortable and forget how difficult life can be for those who have little. Others exploit the poor because they believe they have no power to resist. But God sees every act of oppression. BIBLE PASSAGE “...He that oppresseth the poor to increase his riches, and he that giveth to the rich, shall surely come to want...” Proverbs 22:16 God does not approve of wealth obtained by exploiting vulnerable people. Financial increase must never be built on another person's suffering. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY “...But if ye despise the poor, do ye not commit sin...” James 2:6, 9 Christ teaches us to treat people according to their God-given dignity, not according to their financial status. The poor are not less valuable because they have less money. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus consistently demonstrated compassion toward the poor, the needy, the rejected, and the vulnerable. He never measured people's worth by their possessions or social status. “...But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them...” Matthew 9:36 (KJV) As followers of Christ, we must reject every attitude that humiliates, cheats, oppresses, exploits, or takes advantage of the poor. “...Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate: For the LORD will plead their cause...” Proverbs 22:22–23 God takes seriously how we treat the poor and vulnerable. “...He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor...” Proverbs 14:31 (KJV) We must never honour people because they are wealthy while despising those who have little. James warns us: “...But ye have despised the poor...” James 2:6 (KJV) Instead, we are called to show mercy and generosity: “...He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again...” Proverbs 19:17 (KJV) Therefore, Christ has won this battle, and we must live according to His example. We will not exploit another person's weakness. We will not cheat the poor because they cannot defend themselves. We will not despise people because they have little. We will choose compassion, justice, integrity, and love. “...Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy...” Proverbs 31:9 (KJV) HOW OPPRESSION OF THE POOR MANIFESTS --Underpaying people for their labour. --Delaying or refusing to pay workers what they have earned. --Taking advantage of someone's financial desperation. --Charging unfair prices because someone has no alternative. --Using another person's poverty to manipulate them. --Refusing to show compassion when we have the ability to help. --Treating wealthy people with honour while despising the poor. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Treat every person with dignity. --Pay people fairly and on time. “...The labourer is worthy of his reward...” 1 Timothy 5:18 Never build your prosperity on another person's suffering. --Help the genuinely needy when God gives you the ability. ---Be fair in business and financial dealings. Remember that God is the defender of the oppressed. “...He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD...” Proverbs 19:17 LIFE ILLUSTRATION A wealthy businessman discovers that one of his workers is struggling financially. Instead of taking advantage of the man's situation, he pays him fairly, treats him with dignity, and helps him develop his skills. Years later, that worker becomes an important part of the growth of the business. The lesson is simple: You do not become greater by making another person feel smaller. CALL TO DECISION Ask yourself: Have I ever used someone's poverty, weakness, or desperation to my advantage? Today, make a decision to pursue financial increase without oppression. Let your business, employment, leadership, and financial dealings be characterized by justice, honesty, compassion, and integrity. LITTLE WISDOM Never build your financial success on another person's suffering; wealth gained through injustice carries a heavy price. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me a heart of justice, compassion, and integrity. Deliver me from greed and every desire to take advantage of the poor or vulnerable. Help me to pay people fairly, deal honestly, show compassion, and use whatever resources You give me to bless others. Let my financial increase never become another person's oppression. May my prosperity honour You and become a blessing to others. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. Written by: Beloved in Christ Pastor Olanrewaju G. L. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 18th September, 2026 DAY 261 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (253) THE GATE OF GENEROSITY — THE BATTLE AGAINST SELFISHNESS One of the greatest battles you must win on your journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against selfishness and the unwillingness to give. God does not bless us only so that we can accumulate wealth for ourselves. He blesses us so that we can become channels of blessing to others. Generosity is not determined only by how much you have, but by the condition of your heart. You must learn to give wisely, willingly, and according to what God has entrusted to you. BIBLE PASSAGE “...He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again...” Proverbs 19:17 God sees how we treat those in genuine need. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY “...But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased...” Heb. 13:16 Christianity is not only about receiving from God; it is also about becoming a blessing to others. “...I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive....” Acts 20:35 CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus Christ demonstrated the greatest example of generosity by giving Himself for our salvation. “...For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich....” 2 Corinthians 8:9 Therefore, we must overcome the mentality of “everything is for me.” HOW SELFISHNESS MANIFESTS --Always wanting to receive but rarely giving. --Spending everything on personal desires while ignoring genuine needs. --Refusing to help when you have the ability to help. --Giving only when you expect something in return. --Believing that generosity will make you poor. A selfish heart asks, “What will I gain?” A generous heart asks, “Who can I bless?” GENEROSITY MUST WORK WITH WISDOM Generosity does not mean giving recklessly or neglecting your family responsibilities. “...For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not...” 2 Corinthians 8:12 Give willingly, wisely, and according to what God has entrusted to you. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Develop a generous heart. --Give willingly, not under pressure. --Give wisely and with discernment. --Remember the poor and genuinely needy. --Support God's work according to your conviction and ability. --Teach your children to be generous. LIFE ILLUSTRATION Two men earn the same amount of money. One spends everything on himself and says, “When I become rich, I will help others.” The other manages his money wisely, takes care of his responsibilities, saves and invests, and still sets something aside to bless others. The lesson is simple: If you wait until you are rich before learning generosity, you may become rich in possessions but poor in character. CALL TO DECISION Ask yourself: Am I becoming a better steward or merely a bigger consumer? Today, reject selfishness. Learn to receive with gratitude, manage with wisdom, save with discipline, and give with love. Do not allow the pursuit of financial breakthrough to make you selfish. LITTLE WISDOM Financial increase should not only give you more to keep; it should give you more opportunities to bless others. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me a generous heart. Deliver me from selfishness, greed, and the fear of giving. Teach me to manage my resources wisely, provide responsibly for my family, support Your work, and help those who are genuinely in need. Give me wisdom and discernment in my giving. May financial increase never make me selfish, but make me a greater blessing to others. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 17th September, 2026 DAY 260 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (252) THE GATE OF WISE FINANCIAL DECISIONS — THE BATTLE AGAINST QUICK WEALTH One of the greatest battles you must win on the journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against the desire for quick and effortless wealth. There is nothing wrong with desiring financial increase, but impatience can make a person abandon wisdom, diligence, integrity, and godly counsel. Some people want the harvest without planting, the profit without labour, and the reward without discipline. This can lead to reckless investments, unnecessary borrowing, gambling, fraudulent schemes, and financial decisions that later produce regret. Financial breakthrough requires not only the ability to make money but also the wisdom to make the right financial decisions. BIBLE PASSAGE “...The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want...” Proverbs 21:5 The diligent person plans, works, learns, and builds patiently. But the hasty person wants everything immediately. Not every opportunity is your opportunity, and not every promise of quick profit should be trusted. Wisdom teaches you to examine before you commit. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY “...But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare...” 1 Timothy 6:9 The problem is not wealth. The danger is allowing the desire for wealth to control your heart and decisions. When desperation for money becomes stronger than wisdom, people can easily fall into financial traps. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus rejected Satan's offer of worldly greatness because He would not obtain it through disobedience. “...Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve...” Luke 4:8 Jesus teaches us that no financial gain is worth compromising our obedience to God. It is better to grow slowly with integrity than to become rich quickly through compromise. HOW QUICK-WEALTH MENTALITY MANIFESTS It can appear through: --Wanting instant financial success. --Believing every promise of extraordinary returns. --Investing without adequate understanding. --Borrowing recklessly to chase profit. --Gambling with money needed for important responsibilities. --Following financial trends without investigation. --Ignoring warning signs because of greed. --Becoming impatient with legitimate financial growth. --Compromising integrity because of financial pressure. Sometimes the greatest financial mistake is not losing money; it is making a decision without wisdom because you are desperate for money. FAITH MUST WORK WITH WISDOM “...The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going...h” Proverbs 14:15 Faith does not mean refusing to think. --You can pray and investigate. --You can trust God and seek counsel. --You can have faith and still count the cost before investing. Wisdom is not unbelief; wisdom is God's instrument for protecting your future. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY 1. Reject financial haste. Do not allow desperation to control your decisions. 2. Learn before you invest. Never put your money into what you do not understand. 3. Count the cost. “...For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost...” Luke 14:28 4. Seek wise counsel. “...Without counsel purposes are disappointed...” Proverbs 15:22 5. Build patiently. “...But the hand of the diligent maketh rich...” Proverbs 10:4 6. Protect your integrity. Never exchange your peace, character, or relationship with God for money. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A man hears about an investment that promises to double his money quickly. Because he desperately wants financial breakthrough, he invests all his savings without investigation. Another man takes time to study the opportunity and discovers that the promised returns are unrealistic and the risk is extremely high. Months later, the first man loses his savings while the second man uses his money to build a legitimate business. The lesson is simple: Not every opportunity is an opportunity from God. Sometimes your financial breakthrough begins with the wisdom to say NO. CALL TO DECISION Ask yourself: Am I making financial decisions from wisdom or desperation? Today, reject financial shortcuts and commit yourself to diligence, knowledge, wise planning, legitimate labour, and patient growth. Do not merely pray for financial breakthrough. Pray for the wisdom to recognize the right opportunities and the discipline to reject the wrong ones. LITTLE WISDOM Quick money may excite you for a moment, but wise financial decisions can protect you for a lifetime. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me wisdom to make sound financial decisions. Deliver me from impatience, desperation, reckless investments, and the desire for quick wealth. Teach me to count the cost, seek wise counsel, recognize genuine opportunities, and reject financial traps. Help me to build my finances through diligence, knowledge, discipline, integrity, and legitimate labour. Bless the work of my hands and give me wisdom to preserve and properly use every resource You entrust to me. May I never sacrifice my peace, character, family, or relationship with You for money. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 16th September, 2026 DAY 259 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (251) THE GATE OF CONTENTMENT — THE BATTLE AGAINST GREED AND FINANCIAL PRESSURE One of the greatest battles you must win on your journey to financial breakthrough is the battle to remain content with what God has given you while legitimately pursuing greater progress. Contentment does not mean accepting poverty, refusing to improve, or abandoning your financial goals. Contentment means being grateful for what you have while wisely working toward what you need and what God has called you to become. Without contentment, financial progress can become dangerous because a person may continually increase income without ever increasing satisfaction. BIBLE PASSAGE “...But godliness with contentment is great gain...” 1 Timothy 6:6 Contentment is a form of wealth. A person who has little but possesses contentment may have more peace than someone who has much but is controlled by endless desire. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Paul declared: “...For I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content...” Philippians 4:11 Notice that Paul said he learned contentment. Contentment is a discipline. It does not happen automatically. You must learn to appreciate what you have without allowing comparison, envy, greed, and material pressure to control you. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus warned against allowing possessions to become the measure of life: “...Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth...” Luke 12:15 Money is useful, but money is not your identity. Possessions can improve your comfort, but they cannot give your life its ultimate meaning. Christ must remain your treasure even while you responsibly pursue financial increase. THE DANGER OF DISCONTENTMENT Discontentment can cause a person to: --Spend beyond their means. --Borrow unnecessarily to maintain an image. --Envy other people's success. --Enter dishonest businesses. --Make reckless investments. --Chase unrealistic financial promises. --Neglect family responsibilities. --Sacrifice peace for possessions. --Become enslaved to materialism. --Forget God while pursuing wealth. Greed makes a person believe that “more” will finally make them happy, but there is always another level of “more.” CONTENTMENT IS NOT MEDIOCRITY --You can be content and still be ambitious. --You can thank God for your present condition while working to improve it. --You can appreciate your current home while planning for a better one. --You can be grateful for your present income while developing skills to increase it. --You can celebrate today's progress while preparing for tomorrow's opportunities. Contentment says, “I am grateful for what I have.” Wisdom says, “I will faithfully develop what I have.” Greed says, “I must have more at any cost.” OBEY GOD'S PRINCIPLE “...And having food and raiment let us be therewith content...” 1 Timothy 6:8 God does not condemn legitimate financial progress. What He condemns is the heart that makes material possessions its master. Therefore, pursue wealth without becoming a slave to wealth. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY 1. Count your blessings. Regularly acknowledge what God has already done. 2. Stop unhealthy comparison. Someone else's possessions should not determine your self-worth. 3. Live within your means. Do not spend tomorrow's resources merely to satisfy today's desires. 4. Set financial goals wisely. Contentment does not cancel planning and growth. 5. Avoid unnecessary competition. You do not need to prove your success to everyone. 6. Practise generosity. Giving can help break the grip of selfishness and materialism. 7. Develop gratitude. Thank God for what you have while responsibly working for what you need. 8. Keep money in its proper place. Let money remain your servant, not your master. LIFE ILLUSTRATION Two men see the same car. The first says, “I must have this car because my neighbour has one.” The second says, “I appreciate the car, but I will buy one when it fits my financial capacity and purpose.” Both saw the same vehicle. But one was controlled by comparison, while the other was guided by contentment and wisdom. CALL TO DECISION Am I pursuing financial progress because of purpose, or am I being driven by greed, comparison, and the desire to impress others? Today, thank God for what you have. Then identify one wise step you can take toward responsible financial improvement. Be grateful without becoming stagnant. Be ambitious without becoming greedy. LITTLE WISDOM Contentment gives you peace with what you have; wisdom helps you improve it without losing your peace. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, teach me the wisdom of godly contentment. Deliver me from greed, envy, covetousness, unhealthy comparison, and the pressure to impress others. Help me to appreciate what You have already given me while diligently pursuing legitimate growth and financial progress. Give me wisdom to live within my means, manage my resources faithfully, and keep money in its proper place. May I never gain wealth and lose my peace, character, family, or relationship with You. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 15th September, 2026 DAY 258 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (250) THE GATE OF COURAGEOUS BEGINNINGS — THE BATTLE AGAINST FEAR OF BEGINNING One of the greatest battles you must win on the journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against the fear of beginning. Many dreams remain unrealized, businesses are never started, skills are never developed, and opportunities are wasted—not because people lack potential, but because they are afraid to take the first step. Fear says: “What if I fail?” Wisdom asks: “What if I learn, grow, and succeed?” God has placed ideas, abilities, opportunities, and resources in many hands, but fear often prevents people from turning possibilities into realities. BIBLE PASSAGE “...For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind...” 2 Timothy 1:7 Fear can become a prison that keeps a person from progress. God gives power to act, love to serve, and a sound mind to make wise decisions. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus taught: “...For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost...” Luke 14:28 Faith does not mean acting carelessly. Wisdom plans, counts the cost, seeks counsel, prepares adequately, and then moves forward. Fear says, “Do nothing.” Wisdom says, “Prepare well and begin.” CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus came into the world to fulfill a divine assignment. He did not allow opposition, rejection, or suffering to stop Him from beginning and completing His mission. He declared: “...I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do...” John 17:4 Christ teaches us that every worthwhile assignment requires courage. If you wait until you feel completely free from uncertainty, you may wait forever. WHY PEOPLE FEAR BEGINNING Many people hesitate because of: --Fear of failure. --Fear of criticism. --Fear of losing money. --Fear of making mistakes. --Comparing themselves with others. --Lack of confidence. --Past disappointments. --Waiting for perfect conditions. --Lack of preparation. --Negative words from people. But remember: “...For who hath despised the day of small things?...” Zechariah 4:10 Many great achievements begin in small and humble ways. THE DANGER OF WAITING FOR PERFECT CONDITIONS “...He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap...” Eccl. 11:4 If you wait for everything to be perfect before you begin, you may never begin. There will always be risks, uncertainties, and challenges. Wisdom teaches you to prepare as much as possible and then take responsible action. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY 1. Start with what you have. Do not despise small beginnings. 2. Prepare yourself. Learn, study, and develop your skills. 3. Count the cost. Plan before acting. 4. Accept that mistakes are part of learning. Failure can become a teacher if you learn from it. 5. Stop comparing yourself with others. Your journey is unique. 6. Take one step at a time. Progress often comes gradually. 7. Seek wise counsel. Learn from experienced and trustworthy people. 8. Pray and act. Prayer should strengthen action, not replace it. 9. Focus on service and value. Opportunities often grow where value is created. 10. Trust God with the outcome. Do your part faithfully and leave the results in God's hands. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A farmer keeps his seeds in a bag because he fears drought, pests, and uncertainty. Another farmer plants his seeds wisely, protects them, waters them, and waits patiently. Both faced uncertainty. But only one gave the seed an opportunity to produce a harvest. A dream that is never started can never become a reality. CALL TO DECISION What good thing have I delayed because of fear? Is it a business idea, a skill, an educational goal, a ministry assignment, a project, or a legitimate opportunity? Ask God for wisdom, prepare responsibly, and take the first step. LITTLE WISDOM Many people do not fail because they started; they fail because they never started. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me from every fear that prevents me from beginning what You have placed in my heart. Give me wisdom to prepare well, courage to take responsible steps, and strength to continue even when challenges arise. Help me not to despise small beginnings. Deliver me from fear of failure, fear of criticism, and fear of mistakes. Teach me to trust You, act wisely, and make faithful use of every opportunity You provide. Let every good seed You have placed in my hands produce a fruitful harvest. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. Written by: Beloved in Christ Pastor Olanrewaju G. L. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 14th September, 2026 DAY 257 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (249) THE GATE OF DIVINE OPPORTUNITIES — THE BATTLE AGAINST MISSED OPPORTUNITIES One of the greatest battles you must win on the journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against missing the opportunities God brings your way. God can open doors through people, ideas, skills, businesses, education, relationships, technology, employment, investment, and unexpected circumstances. However, an open door is not enough; you need wisdom to recognize it, courage to enter it, and diligence to maximize it. BIBLE PASSAGE “...I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it...” Revelation 3:8 There are opportunities that only God can create. But recognizing an open door requires spiritual sensitivity and practical wisdom. Sometimes, people are praying for a new opportunity while ignoring the opportunity already in their hands. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Paul instructed believers: “...Redeeming the time, because the days are evil...” Ephesians 5:16 Time itself contains opportunities. When an opportunity comes, delaying unnecessarily can cause you to lose what may not return in the same form. Wisdom knows when to wait and when to act. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus was always conscious of His divine assignment and the timing of His Father's purpose. He said: “...I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day...” John 9:4 He understood that there was a season for every assignment. Likewise, you must learn to recognize your seasons. Do not allow fear, laziness, ignorance, or procrastination to make you miss what God has placed before you. HOW PEOPLE MISS DIVINE OPPORTUNITIES Opportunities can be missed through: --Fear of failure. --Laziness. --Procrastination. --Lack of preparation. --Ignorance. --Pride. --Poor relationships. --Refusing to learn. --Waiting for a perfect opportunity. --Looking down on small beginnings. --Spending all your time complaining about what you lack. --Failing to recognize the value of people and relationships. --Making decisions without prayer and wise counsel. Sometimes the opportunity does not look like what you expected. David's opportunity to become king began with a shepherd's field. Joseph's journey to leadership passed through difficult places before reaching the palace. Never despise a legitimate opportunity simply because it begins small. DIVINE OPPORTUNITY REQUIRES PREPARATION A door may open suddenly, but preparation is rarely sudden. If you want to benefit from opportunities in business, develop business knowledge. If you want professional opportunities, develop professional competence. If you want leadership opportunities, develop character and capacity. If you want financial opportunities, develop financial wisdom. Opportunity without preparation can become frustration. OBEY GOD'S PRINCIPLE OF WISDOM “...Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding...” Prov. 4:7 Not every open door is necessarily from God. Therefore, do not run after every opportunity simply because it promises money. Examine it. Pray about it. Seek wise counsel. Count the cost. Check whether it agrees with God's Word and your values. A door that requires you to abandon integrity is not a door you should enter merely because it is profitable. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY 1. Pray for discernment. Ask God to help you recognize the right opportunities. 2. Prepare before the opportunity arrives. Build your skills and capacity now. 3. Pay attention to your environment. Solutions and opportunities can be hidden in problems around you. 4. Build meaningful relationships. God can use people as channels through which opportunities come. 5. Start small when necessary. Do not reject a legitimate beginning because it is not yet large. 6. Act when wisdom says it is time. Do not allow endless analysis to become another form of procrastination. 7. Count the cost. Not every attractive opportunity is a wise opportunity. 8. Seek godly counsel. Wise advice can protect you from costly mistakes. 9. Be faithful with small opportunities. Small responsibilities can prepare you for greater ones. 10. Give God the glory. When opportunity produces increase, remember the One who gave you the ability to recognize and maximize it. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A man walks past a piece of unused land every day. He sees only weeds. Another person looks at the same land and sees a farm. The land did not change. The difference was vision. One person saw what existed. The other saw what could become. Divine opportunities often require you to look beyond the present appearance and recognize the potential hidden within what God has placed before you. CALL TO DECISION What opportunity is presently within my reach that I have ignored because of fear, laziness, ignorance, or because it appears too small? Take time today to identify it. Pray over it. Examine it with wisdom. Prepare for it. And if it is right, take the necessary step. LITTLE WISDOM Opportunity may knock at the door, but wisdom recognizes the knock, preparation opens the door, and diligence makes the opportunity fruitful. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, open my eyes to recognize the opportunities You bring into my life. Give me wisdom to distinguish divine opportunities from dangerous distractions. Deliver me from fear, procrastination, ignorance, pride, and laziness that can make me miss my appointed opportunities. Prepare me before the doors open, give me courage to act when the time is right, and give me diligence to maximize every legitimate opportunity You entrust to me. Let my life become fruitful and a blessing to others. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. Written by: Beloved in Christ Pastor Olanrewaju G. L. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 13th September, 2026 DAY 256 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (248) THE GATE OF PRODUCTIVITY — THE BATTLE AGAINST LAZINESS One of the greatest battles you must win on the journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against laziness. Laziness is not simply the absence of physical activity. It can be the refusal to develop your potential, the unwillingness to learn, the habit of postponing important responsibilities, or the expectation of results without corresponding effort. God can give you opportunities, but laziness can prevent you from converting those opportunities into results. BIBLE PASSAGE “...The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat...” Proverbs 13:4 The lazy person may have strong desires, but desire without disciplined action produces little. Diligence turns intentions into action and action into results. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Paul taught believers: “...For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat...” 2 Thessalonians 3:10 Christianity does not teach irresponsibility. Faith does not cancel work. Prayer does not replace diligence. We pray, but we also work. We trust God, but we also take responsibility. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus demonstrated a life of purposeful labour. He said: “...I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work....” John 9:4 Jesus understood that time is a resource. He did not waste His assignment. If Christ lived with a sense of responsibility toward His Father's work, His followers must also learn to use their time, abilities, and opportunities wisely. HOW LAZINESS MANIFESTS Laziness may appear as: --Constant procrastination. --Sleeping excessively when responsibility demands action. --Refusing to learn new skills. --Starting many things but finishing few. --Making excuses for poor performance. --Spending hours on entertainment while neglecting productive work. --Waiting for someone else to solve every problem. --Refusing opportunities because they require effort. --Depending on miracles while neglecting available responsibilities. --Complaining about poverty without developing productive capacity. Sometimes the greatest enemy of progress is not the absence of opportunity but the unwillingness to act. THE DANGER OF PROCRASTINATION Procrastination says: “I will do it tomorrow.” But repeated tomorrows can become wasted years. A good idea that is never acted upon cannot produce results. A skill that is never developed cannot create value. A business that is never properly managed cannot grow. An opportunity that is continually postponed may eventually disappear. GOD'S PRINCIPLE OF DILIGENCE “...Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings...” Proverbs 22:29 Diligence creates distinction. You do not have to be the most gifted person in the room. But if you consistently develop your gifts, improve your skills, honour your responsibilities, and pursue excellence, you increase your capacity for meaningful results. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY 1. Set clear goals. Know what you want to accomplish. 2. Create a daily plan. Give your time specific productive assignments. 3. Start immediately. Do not wait until everything is perfect. 4. Break large tasks into smaller steps. Progress becomes easier when responsibility is handled one step at a time. 5. Develop discipline. Do what needs to be done even when you do not feel like doing it. 6. Learn continuously. Every new skill can increase your capacity to create value. 7. Finish what you start. Completion is part of productivity. 8. Reduce distractions. Entertainment should not consume the time needed for productive responsibilities. 9. Surround yourself with diligent people. Your environment can influence your habits. 10. Pray for grace and then take action. Ask God for wisdom, strength, and favour, but do not use prayer as an excuse for inactivity. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A man receives a fertile piece of land. He prays for a great harvest but never clears the land, plants the seed, removes weeds, or tends the crops. When harvest time comes, he complains that God did not bless him. But the seed was available. The land was available. The opportunity was available. What was missing was diligent action. Many opportunities in life are like fertile land. They require cultivation before they produce harvest. CALL TO DECISION What have I been postponing that I should start doing today? Identify one important responsibility you have delayed and take a practical step toward completing it. Do not allow laziness to bury the potential God has placed inside you. LITTLE WISDOM Laziness wastes opportunities; diligence converts opportunities into results. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me from every form of laziness, procrastination, distraction, and irresponsibility. Give me the wisdom to recognize opportunities and the discipline to act upon them. Strengthen my hands for productive labour. Help me to develop my gifts, improve my skills, manage my time wisely, and finish what I start. Let the work of my hands produce good results, and let my diligence become a blessing to my family, my church, my community, and Your kingdom. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 12th September, 2026 DAY 255 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (247) THE GATE OF HONEST LABOUR — THE BATTLE AGAINST DISHONEST WEALTH One of the greatest battles you must win on the journey to financial breakthrough is the battle to pursue wealth through honest labour. God desires prosperity that can be enjoyed with a clean conscience, integrity, dignity, and peace. Money gained through deception, fraud, exploitation, corruption, or dishonest dealings may appear to bring quick success, but it can eventually become a source of sorrow and destruction. Wisdom does not merely ask, “How much can I make?” It asks, “How can I make it rightly?” BIBLE PASSAGE “...He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him...” Proverbs 16:26 The Bible recognizes the dignity of productive labour. Honest work may begin small, but it provides a foundation upon which sustainable progress can be built. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Paul gave believers a clear instruction: “...Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good...” Ephesians 4:28 Notice the progression: Stop stealing → start working → produce something good → become a blessing to others. Christian financial breakthrough should not be built on taking advantage of people. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus never encouraged His followers to pursue wealth through dishonesty. He taught: “...For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?...” Mark 8:36 There is a kind of wealth that can cost you too much. What is the value of financial success if it destroys your character, peace, family, reputation, or relationship with God? The goal is not merely to become rich; the goal is to prosper without losing your soul. THE DANGER OF DISHONEST WEALTH Dishonest financial practices include: --Fraud. --Stealing. --False accounting. --Deception in business. --Exploiting vulnerable people. --Refusing to pay legitimate debts. --Taking what belongs to others. --Bribery and corruption. --Manipulating people for financial gain. --Selling inferior goods while pretending they are superior. --Making false promises to obtain money. --Quick money is not necessarily good money. A financial breakthrough that requires you to compromise your integrity is not the kind of breakthrough wisdom should pursue. GOD VALUES HONESTY “...A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight...” Proverbs 11:1 God is interested in how you conduct business. If you are a trader, sell honestly. If you are a professional, serve faithfully. If you are an employer, treat workers fairly. If you are an employee, give honest service. If you are a contractor, deliver what you promised. If you borrow, honour your commitments. Your integrity is part of your wealth. WHY SOME PEOPLE CHOOSE DISHONEST WEALTH People may compromise their integrity because of: --Greed. --Impatience. --Envy. --Pressure to succeed quickly. --Comparison with others. --Desire for luxury. --Fear of remaining poor. --Lack of contentment. --Wrong friendships. --Belief that everybody is doing it. But the fact that something is common does not make it righteous. Never allow another person's dishonest success to become the justification for your own compromise. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY 1. Value integrity above quick profit. Not every profitable opportunity is a godly opportunity. 2. Develop useful skills. Increase your earning capacity through legitimate value creation. 3. Work diligently. Do not expect harvest where you refuse to cultivate. 4. Keep your promises. Your word should have value. 5. Be transparent in business. Do not deceive people to make money. 6. Pay people what you owe them. Financial integrity includes honouring legitimate obligations. 7. Avoid get-rich-quick schemes. Quick wealth without wisdom can become quick destruction. 8. Let your success bless others. The purpose of increase should extend beyond personal consumption. LIFE ILLUSTRATION Two traders sell the same product. One secretly reduces the quantity while charging the full price. The other gives customers exactly what he promised. The dishonest trader may make more money initially, but the honest trader builds something more valuable—trust. Over time, customers return to people they can trust. Integrity may appear slower, but it builds a foundation that deception cannot provide. CALL TO DECISION Am I pursuing financial breakthrough through honest labour, or am I allowing financial pressure to push me toward compromise? Make a decision today: --I will not become wealthy at the expense of my integrity. --I will work, learn, create value, manage wisely, and trust God for increase. LITTLE WISDOM It is better to build slowly with clean hands than to rise quickly with a troubled conscience. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me grace to pursue financial breakthrough through honest labour, wisdom, diligence, and integrity. Deliver me from greed, deception, fraud, corruption, impatience, and every temptation to obtain wealth through unrighteous means. Give me the strength to work diligently, develop my skills, create genuine value, and honour every legitimate obligation. Let the prosperity You give me come with peace, dignity, and a clean conscience. Make my life and resources a blessing to others. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 11th September, 2026 DAY 254 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (246) THE GATE OF FINANCIAL DISCIPLINE — THE BATTLE AGAINST FINANCIAL WASTE One of the battles you must win on the journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against financial waste. It is possible to earn more and still remain financially unstable if you do not know how to manage what comes into your hands. Financial increase without financial discipline can produce greater waste, not greater wealth. Wisdom teaches you not only how to make money but also how to preserve, manage, multiply, and use it purposefully. BIBLE PASSAGE “...Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost...” John 6:12 After Jesus fed the multitude, He instructed His disciples to gather the remaining fragments. This teaches you an important principle: abundance is not permission for wastefulness. Even when there is plenty, wisdom still values resources. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus repeatedly taught His disciples to be responsible with what they had received. “...He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much...” Luke 16:10 Financial maturity begins when you learn to respect small resources. Do not say: “It is only a little money.” Small amounts wasted repeatedly can become significant losses. Likewise, small amounts saved and wisely managed can become meaningful resources over time. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus demonstrated careful stewardship. After the miracle of feeding the five thousand, He did not permit the remaining food to be thrown away. “...Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost...” John 6:12 Christ therefore teaches you that provision should be accompanied by responsible management. The God who multiplies resources also expects His children to handle them wisely. HOW FINANCIAL WASTE DESTROYS PROGRESS Financial waste can happen through: --Buying things you do not need. --Spending to impress people. --Impulsive purchases. --Excessive entertainment. --Poor maintenance of valuable possessions. --Food wastage. --Unnecessary subscriptions and recurring expenses. --Ignoring small financial leaks. --Borrowing money for avoidable consumption. --Paying penalties because of poor planning. --Buying expensive things simply because they are fashionable. --Allowing unused resources to deteriorate. You may not notice one small leak, but continuous leakage can empty a tank. THE DANGER OF LIVING TO IMPRESS One of the greatest forms of financial waste is spending money to create an appearance of wealth. Some people purchase what they cannot comfortably afford simply because they want others to believe they are successful. Wisdom teaches otherwise. “...There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up...” Proverbs 21:20 The wise person thinks about tomorrow while the foolish person consumes everything today. Do not sacrifice your financial future merely to maintain today's appearance. OBEY GOD'S PRINCIPLE OF CONTENTMENT “...And having food and raiment let us be therewith content...” 1 Timothy 6:8 Contentment does not mean refusing to grow. It means refusing to allow uncontrolled desire to dominate your financial decisions. You can desire improvement without becoming a slave to materialism. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY 1. Know where your money goes. Record your major expenses and identify unnecessary spending. 2. Separate needs from wants. Not every desire deserves immediate financial attention. 3. Avoid impulse buying. Give yourself time before making non-essential purchases. 4. Maintain your possessions. Proper maintenance can prevent avoidable replacement costs. 5. Stop spending to impress people. Your financial future is more important than public approval. 6. Reduce financial leaks. Small recurring expenses can quietly consume significant resources. 7. Plan before spending. A budget gives your money direction. 8. Preserve useful resources. Do not destroy or waste what can still serve a purpose. 9. Teach your family not to waste. Financial discipline should become a household culture. 10. Give every resource a purpose. Money should serve your values and responsibilities rather than control them. LIFE ILLUSTRATION Imagine a farmer who harvests a large quantity of grain but leaves his storehouse open. Birds enter. Rain damages the grain. Rodents consume part of it. He gives away another portion carelessly. At the end of the season, he complains that his harvest was too small. But the problem was not necessarily the size of the harvest. The problem was poor preservation. In the same way, some people do not necessarily have only an income problem; they have a leakage problem. CALL TO DECISION Where is my money leaking unnecessarily? This week, examine your spending honestly. Identify at least three areas of financial waste and make a deliberate decision to correct them. Do not only pray for God to increase your income. Ask Him for the wisdom to stop wasting what He has already placed in your hands. LITTLE WISDOM You cannot build lasting wealth while continuously wasting the resources God has entrusted to you. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me wisdom and discipline to overcome every form of financial waste in my life. Deliver me from impulsive spending, unnecessary competition, wastefulness, greed, and the desire to impress people. Teach me to distinguish between needs and wants, to preserve what You have given me, and to manage my resources responsibly. Give me wisdom to save, invest, give, and spend according to Your purpose. May I become a faithful manager of every resource You place in my hands. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. Written by: Beloved in Christ Pastor Olanrewaju G. L. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 10th September, 2026 DAY 253 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (245) THE GATE OF FAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP — THE BATTLE AGAINST WASTEFULNESS One of the greatest battles you must win on the journey to financial breakthrough is the battle to become a faithful steward. God does not only want to bless you with resources; He wants you to manage what He places in your hands wisely. Stewardship means you recognize that everything ultimately belongs to God and that you are accountable for how you use what He entrusts to you. BIBLE PASSAGE “..Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful...” 1 Cor. 4:2 God looks beyond what you possess. He looks at how faithfully you manage it. A person who wastes little may waste much when increase comes. Therefore, financial breakthrough should not only be about receiving more, but also about managing better. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus taught the importance of faithful stewardship through the parable of the talents. “...Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things...” Matthew 25:21 The servant was commended because he was faithful with what had been entrusted to him. God expects you to use your: --Money wisely. --Time productively. --Gifts faithfully. --Opportunities responsibly. --Relationships carefully. --Possessions purposefully. --Influence for His glory. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus demonstrated perfect stewardship of His earthly assignment. He said: “...I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do...” John 17:4 He did not waste the assignment given to Him by the Father. Christ therefore teaches you that faithfulness is more important than appearance. You do not need to possess everything before you can become a good steward. Start by managing what is already in your hands. WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST Financial resources are often destroyed through: --Wasteful spending. --Impulsive buying. --Poor planning. --Lack of accountability. --Living beyond one's means. --Neglecting maintenance. --Misusing opportunities. --Unnecessary debt. --Failure to save. --Failure to invest wisely. --Showing off to impress others. --Refusing financial correction. Many people pray for financial increase when what they need first is financial discipline. OBEY GOD'S PRINCIPLE OF FAITHFULNESS “...He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much...” Luke 16:10 Do not despise small resources. The question is not only: “How much do I have?” The wiser question is: “How faithfully am I managing what I have?” Your ability to manage today's resources can prepare you for tomorrow's increase. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY 1. Know what you have. Keep proper records of your income, expenses, debts, assets, and obligations. 2. Control unnecessary spending. Not everything you can afford is something you need to buy. 3. Create a budget. Give every major portion of your income a responsible purpose. 4. Save consistently. Develop the discipline of keeping something for future needs and opportunities. 5. Invest wisely. Do not invest because of pressure, greed, or promises of unrealistic returns. 6. Maintain what you own. Proper maintenance can prevent unnecessary replacement costs. 7. Avoid waste. Food, time, money, opportunities, and talents should not be carelessly wasted. 8. Give responsibly. Generosity is part of godly stewardship, but generosity should also be exercised with wisdom. 9. Teach your family financial responsibility. Stewardship becomes stronger when it becomes a family culture. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A man gives two people the same amount of money to manage. One spends everything quickly, cannot account for it, and repeatedly asks for more. The other records every expense, avoids waste, preserves part of it, uses some productively, and gives a clear account. The difference is not the amount received. The difference is stewardship. God may increase what you receive, but wisdom must increase your ability to manage it. CALL TO DECISION If God increased my resources today, would my management ability be ready for the increase? Before asking God for more, examine how you are managing what you already have. LITTLE WISDOM Financial breakthrough is not merely having more money; it is having the wisdom and discipline to manage what God entrusts to you. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me wisdom to become a faithful steward of everything You have entrusted to me. Deliver me from wastefulness, careless spending, greed, impulsive decisions, and poor financial management. Teach me to manage my money, time, talents, opportunities, and possessions with wisdom and discipline. Give me grace to save, invest, give, and spend responsibly. May every increase You bring into my life meet a faithful steward. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. Written by: Beloved in Christ Pastor Olanrewaju G. L. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 9th September, 2026 DAY 252 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (244) THE GATE OF PROSPERITY MINDSET — THE BATTLE AGAINST POVERTY THINKING One of the most important battles you must win on the journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against poverty thinking. Poverty is not only a condition of having little money. A person can have limited resources without having a poverty mentality. Poverty thinking is a pattern of thought that produces fear, limitation, waste, hopelessness, dependency, and resistance to growth. God wants you to develop a mind that recognizes opportunities, values resources, learns wisdom, creates value, and manages increase responsibly. BIBLE PASSAGE “...For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he...” Prov. 23:7 Your thinking influences your decisions, and your decisions influence the direction of your life. If you continually think, “Nothing can change,” you may stop looking for solutions. But when wisdom changes your thinking, you begin to ask: “What can I learn? What can I improve? What can I create? What has God already placed in my hands?” THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Paul instructed believers: “...And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind...” Romans 12:2 Financial transformation must include mental transformation. You cannot continually think like a defeated person and expect to consistently make victorious decisions. A renewed mind does not mean believing that money will magically appear. It means learning to think according to God's wisdom, responsibility, diligence, stewardship, and productive opportunity. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus came to bring freedom, including freedom from destructive patterns of thinking. He declared: “...And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free...” John 8:32 Christ wants His people to walk in truth rather than fear, ignorance, hopelessness, and limiting beliefs. You must therefore reject thoughts that tell you: “I can never rise.” “People like me cannot succeed.” “There is nothing I can do.” “I must remain dependent forever.” “Money is evil, so I should not learn how to manage it.” “I cannot improve myself.” “There is no opportunity anywhere.” Such thoughts can become invisible chains. HOW POVERTY THINKING MANIFESTS Poverty thinking may appear through: --Fear of investing in yourself. --Refusing to learn new skills. --Spending everything that comes into your hands. --Depending on others for everything. --Seeing every opportunity as impossible. --Envying successful people instead of learning from them. --Looking for instant wealth. --Rejecting legitimate work because it appears small. --Living beyond your means to impress people. --Refusing financial discipline. --Believing that your present condition must remain your permanent condition. Your present financial condition is a circumstance, not necessarily your final destination. OBEY GOD'S PRINCIPLE OF RENEWED THINKING “...whatsoever things are true... honest... just... pure... lovely... and of good report... think on these things...” Philippians 4:8 God cares about what occupies your mind. Instead of continually thinking about what you lack, begin asking: What do I have? What can I learn? What can I improve? Whom can I serve? What value can I create? How can I manage what God has entrusted to me better? HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY 1. Renew your mind with God's Word. Replace destructive beliefs with biblical wisdom. 2. Stop glorifying poverty. Lack should not become an identity or an excuse for irresponsibility. 3. Learn valuable skills. Increase your capacity to create legitimate value. 4. Learn financial management. Know how to budget, save, invest, and control unnecessary spending. 5. Start with what you have. Do not wait until you have everything before taking responsible action. 6. Learn from financially wise people. Humility to learn can accelerate growth. 7. Reject envy. Someone else's success can become a lesson rather than a reason for bitterness. 8. Think long-term. Sustainable financial progress usually requires patience, discipline, and consistent effort. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A man receives a small piece of land. One person looks at it and says, “This is too small; nothing useful can come from it.” Another looks at the same land and asks, “What can I produce here?” The land has not changed. The difference is in the way they see the opportunity. A renewed mind does not deny limitations; it searches for possibilities within them. CALL TO DECISION What poverty thought have I accepted that God wants me to reject? Do not allow yesterday's limitation to become tomorrow's mentality. Ask God for wisdom to see opportunities, courage to act, discipline to manage resources, and humility to keep learning. LITTLE WISDOM Poverty thinking says, “I have nothing.” Wisdom asks, “What has God already placed in my hands, and what can I do with it?” PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, renew my mind and deliver me from every poverty mentality, fear, limitation, ignorance, and hopelessness. Give me wisdom to recognize opportunities, diligence to work, discipline to manage resources, and courage to develop the gifts You have placed in me. Help me to think according to Your Word and to create legitimate value that will bless my life, my family, and others. Let my mind become a channel for wise decisions, productive actions, and responsible prosperity. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. Written by: Beloved in Christ Pastor Olanrewaju G. L. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 8th September, 2026 DAY 251 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (243) THE GATE OF DILIGENCE — THE BATTLE AGAINST LAZINESS AND FINANCIAL STAGNATION One of the greatest battles a person must win on the journey to financial breakthrough is the battle against laziness and inconsistency. Financial breakthrough is not produced by desire alone. It requires wisdom, diligence, discipline, productive labour, and faithful management of opportunities. Wisdom teaches you that prayer can open doors, but diligence gives you the capacity to walk through them and remain there. BIBLE PASSAGE “...The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute...” Proverbs 12:24 Diligence means giving careful, consistent, and purposeful effort to what God has placed in your hands. God can give you an idea, talent, opportunity, business, skill, or assignment, but you must be diligent enough to develop and manage it. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus also taught the principle of faithful stewardship: “...He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much...” Luke 16:10 Financial increase should not be separated from faithfulness. If you cannot manage little wisely, having more may only multiply your problems. Diligence involves: --Working consistently. --Developing useful skills. --Managing your time wisely. --Following through on opportunities. --Avoiding unnecessary waste. --Learning from failure. --Keeping proper financial records. --Saving and investing wisely. --Serving people with excellence. --Refusing to abandon productive efforts prematurely. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Jesus demonstrated diligence in fulfilling His Father's assignment. He declared: “...I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day...” John 9:4 Christ understood the value of time and responsibility. He did not waste His earthly assignment. He worked while there was opportunity. As followers of Christ, we must learn to recognize the value of every opportunity and use our time productively. WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST Many people remain financially stagnant because of: --Laziness. --Procrastination. --Lack of consistency. --Poor time management. --Failure to develop skills. --Depending only on one source of income. --Wasting opportunities. --Impulsive spending. --Poor financial planning. --Giving up too quickly. --Refusing to learn. --Looking for quick wealth without productive value. A person can pray for increase while continually destroying the opportunities through which increase should come. OBEY GOD'S PRINCIPLE OF DILIGENCE “...Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men...” Proverbs 22:29 God is not glorified by laziness. Whatever legitimate work God has placed before you deserves diligence. Your business, profession, ministry, education, skill, farm, trade, or assignment should receive your best effort. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY 1. Discover what you can do productively. Identify your gifts, skills, knowledge, and opportunities. 2. Develop your capacity. Learn something useful every day. 3. Stop postponing productive action. An opportunity delayed repeatedly may become an opportunity lost. 4. Work with a plan. Diligence without direction can produce wasted effort. 5. Manage what you already have. Do not despise small beginnings. 6. Be consistent. Small productive actions repeated over time can produce significant results. 7. Avoid get-rich-quick mentality. Build sustainable wealth through value, wisdom, integrity, and patience. 8. Pray and work. Trust God for favour while faithfully doing your part. LIFE ILLUSTRATION Two farmers may receive the same quantity of seeds. One plants, weeds, waters, protects, and patiently tends his farm. The other keeps the seeds in his storehouse while continually praying for a harvest. Both have seeds, but only one is likely to enjoy the harvest. An opportunity is like a seed. Diligence is what helps you cultivate it until it produces fruit. CALL TO DECISION What has God already placed in my hands that I have been neglecting through laziness, procrastination, fear, or inconsistency? Do not only pray for financial breakthrough. Identify your seed, cultivate it diligently, and manage the harvest wisely. LITTLE WISDOM Diligence turns opportunities into results; laziness turns opportunities into regrets. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me the wisdom and strength to become diligent in everything You have placed in my hands. Deliver me from laziness, procrastination, inconsistency, and the waste of opportunities. Teach me to work wisely, manage my resources faithfully, develop my skills, and recognize productive opportunities. Let the work of my hands prosper, and give me grace to build financial stability with integrity and wisdom. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. Written by: Beloved in Christ Pastor Olanrewaju G. L. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 7th September, 2026 DAY 250 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (242) THE GATE OF EXCELLENCE THROUGH WISDOM — THE BATTLE AGAINST MEDIOCRITY One of the greatest battles every believer must win is the battle against mediocrity. Excellence is not the desire to be better than everyone else. It is the commitment to do what God has entrusted to you with wisdom, diligence, discipline, and integrity. Wisdom teaches you that what is worth doing is worth doing well. BIBLE PASSAGE: "...Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings..." Proverbs 22:29 God-given ability must be developed through diligence. Talent without discipline may remain unproductive. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus taught that faithfulness in small responsibilities prepares a person for greater ones. "...He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much..." Luke 16:10 Excellence begins with how you handle what is already in your hands. Living in excellence involves: --Doing your work diligently. --Improving your skills. --Paying attention to details. --Being punctual and responsible. --Learning from mistakes. --Maintaining integrity. --Giving your best for God's glory. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Christ demonstrated excellence in His assignment. Jesus could say: "...I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do..." John 17:4 Christ was faithful in His responsibility. He did not abandon the Father's assignment when it became difficult. Christ calls you to faithful service. "...And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord..." Colossians 3:23 WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST --Laziness. --Carelessness. --Poor preparation. --Lack of discipline. --Fear of learning. --Settling for "good enough." --Making excuses for poor performance. --Refusing to correct mistakes. Mediocrity can become dangerous when a person becomes comfortable with underachievement. OBEY GOD'S COMMAND THROUGH CHRIST "...And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men..." Col. 3:23 Your work should reflect the character of the God you serve. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Set godly standards. --Prepare before every assignment. --Learn continuously. --Improve your skills. --Pay attention to details. --Finish what you start. --Accept correction. --Avoid shortcuts that compromise integrity. --Give God your best. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A skilled carpenter does not become excellent by simply owning good tools. He becomes excellent by learning how to use them properly, practising consistently, and paying attention to details. Likewise, God may give you gifts, but wisdom, discipline, and diligence are needed to develop those gifts into excellence. CALL TO DECISION Am I giving God my best, or have I become comfortable with doing only what is easy and convenient? LITTLE WISDOM Excellence is not perfection; it is faithfully giving your best while continually improving what God has placed in your hands. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me wisdom, diligence, discipline, and a spirit of excellence. Deliver me from laziness, carelessness, and mediocrity. Help me to develop my gifts, improve my skills, and give my best in every responsibility You have entrusted to me. Let my work honour You and become a blessing to others. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 6th September, 2026 DAY 249 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (241) THE GATE OF CAREFUL SPEECH — THE BATTLE AGAINST CARELESS WORDS One of the greatest battles every believer must win is the battle against careless words. Many problems begin with words spoken without thinking. A careless statement can damage trust, provoke anger, destroy relationships, expose secrets, or create unnecessary conflict. A wise believer learns that not every thought should become a spoken word. BIBLE PASSAGE: "...He that keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles..." Proverbs 21:23 Controlling your tongue is a form of spiritual discipline. Sometimes silence is wiser than an immediate response. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus warned us that our words matter before God. "...But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment..." Matthew 12:36 This should make every believer more careful about what he says. Living with careful speech involves: --Thinking before speaking. --Avoiding words spoken in anger. --Refusing gossip and rumours. --Keeping confidential matters private. --Speaking truthfully and respectfully. --Knowing when silence is wiser. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE Christ controlled His response under pressure. When He was accused and mocked, He did not answer every accusation with angry words. Christ spoke words that brought life. His words instructed, corrected, encouraged, and revealed the truth. Christ is our example of disciplined speech. "...Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again..." 1 Peter 2:23 WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST --Anger. --Impatience. --Gossip. --Excitement. --Pride. --Desire to win arguments. --Speaking before understanding the matter. --Allowing emotions to control the tongue. One careless sentence can take only seconds to speak but may take years to repair its consequences. OBEY GOD'S COMMAND THROUGH CHRIST "...Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath..." James 1:19 God wants us to listen carefully, speak thoughtfully, and control anger. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Pause before responding. --Listen carefully. --Think about the consequences of your words. --Avoid speaking when extremely angry. --Do not repeat unverified information. --Pray before difficult conversations. --Choose words that bring peace and understanding. LIFE ILLUSTRATION Once a feather pillow is opened in a strong wind, gathering every feather back becomes extremely difficult. Likewise, once careless words leave your mouth, you may not be able to retrieve them. Therefore, think before you speak. CALL TO DECISION Will I continue speaking whatever comes to my mind, or will I allow the wisdom of Christ to govern my tongue? LITTLE WISDOM Think before you speak, because an apology may repair a careless word, but it may not erase its effect. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me wisdom to control my words. Deliver me from careless, angry, destructive, and unnecessary speech. Help me to listen before speaking and to think about the consequences of my words. Let my tongue bring peace, healing, wisdom, and encouragement. May my words glorify You and never become a source of destruction to others. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 5th September, 2026 DAY 248 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (240) THE GATE OF WISE SPEECH — THE BATTLE AGAINST DESTRUCTIVE WORDS One of the greatest battles every believer must win is the battle of controlling the words that come out of the mouth. Words can build or destroy, heal or wound, encourage or discourage, create peace or provoke conflict. A wise person does not simply speak because he has something to say. He learns when to speak, what to say, and how to say it. BIBLE PASSAGE: "...Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof..." Prov. 18:21 God has given you the ability to influence lives through your words. Therefore, your mouth must be governed by wisdom. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus warned that our words reveal what is inside our hearts. "...For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned..." Matt.12:37 Wise speech begins with a heart that is surrendered to Christ. Living with wise speech involves: --Thinking before speaking. --Speaking the truth in love. --Avoiding gossip and slander. --Refusing abusive and insulting words. --Knowing when to remain silent. --Using words to encourage and build others. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE 1. Christ spoke words of grace and truth. "...And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth..." Luke 4:22 Christ knew when to speak and when to remain silent. 2. He did not respond to every accusation or provocation. 3. Christ teaches us to speak with wisdom, love and integrity. "...But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil...." Matthew 5:37 WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST --Speaking in anger. --Gossiping about others. --Lying and exaggerating. --Insulting people during arguments. --Speaking without thinking. --Revealing confidential matters. --Using words to manipulate or intimidate. --Allowing emotions to control the tongue. Many relationships have been damaged by words that could never be taken back. OBEY GOD'S COMMAND THROUGH CHRIST "...Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying..." Ephesians 4:29 Before you speak, ask: Will these words glorify God, communicate truth, and build rather than destroy? HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Pray before responding when angry. --Think before you speak. --Speak truthfully. --Listen more carefully. --Avoid unnecessary arguments. --Refuse gossip. --Apologize when your words cause harm. --Use your mouth to bless and encourage others. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A small spark can start a great fire. In the same way, a few careless words can start a major conflict. Therefore, do not underestimate the power of your words. A wise tongue can bring peace where anger would have produced destruction. CALL TO DECISION Will I allow my emotions to control my tongue, or will I allow the wisdom of Christ to control my words? LITTLE WISDOM A wise mouth does not say everything it knows; it says what is necessary, truthful, timely, and beneficial. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, help me to control my tongue and speak with wisdom, grace, truth, and love. Deliver me from anger, gossip, lying, insults, and destructive speech. Let my words bring healing, peace, encouragement, and understanding. Teach me when to speak and when to remain silent. May my mouth always glorify You and bless those around me. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 4th September, 2026 DAY 247 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (239) THE GATE OF CORRECTION — THE BATTLE AGAINST REJECTING CORRECTION One of the greatest battles every believer must win is the battle against rejecting correction. Correction is not always an attack against you. Sometimes it is God's way of helping you recognize your mistakes, change your ways, and grow in wisdom. A person who cannot receive correction may continue repeating the same mistakes until those mistakes become destructive habits. There is a difference between condemnation and correction. Godly correction seeks to restore you, not destroy you. BIBLE PASSAGE: "...He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding..." Proverbs 15:32 Correction may be uncomfortable, but receiving it with humility can save you from greater consequences. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus taught that correction is part of healthy relationships among believers. "...Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone..." Matthew 18:15 Correction should be done with love, truth, wisdom, and the desire for restoration. Living with a teachable heart involves: --Listening before responding. --Accepting correction when you are wrong. --Examining yourself honestly. --Correcting your mistakes quickly. --Learning from godly counsel. --Refusing to become defensive or proud. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE 1. Christ submitted to the Father's will. "...Nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done..." Luke 22:42 Christ taught His disciples through instruction and correction. Jesus did not merely encourage His disciples; He also corrected their wrong attitudes and understanding. 2. Christ calls us to become teachable. "...Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me..." Matthew 11:29 WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST --Pride. --Defensiveness. --Refusing to admit mistakes. --Being offended by correction. --Believing you are always right. --Rejecting godly counsel. --Repeating mistakes without learning. A person who rejects correction may protect his pride today but damage his future tomorrow. OBEY GOD'S COMMAND THROUGH CHRIST "...Reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." 2 Timothy 4:2 God wants correction to be given and received with patience, truth, and love. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Remain humble. --Listen carefully when corrected. --Check the correction against God's Word. --Admit your mistakes. --Make necessary changes. --Appreciate those who sincerely correct you. --Avoid repeating corrected mistakes. --Keep a teachable spirit. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A wise driver does not become angry when a warning light appears on the dashboard. The warning is not meant to embarrass the driver; it is meant to prevent greater damage. Likewise, correction can be a warning that helps you fix something before it becomes a greater problem. CALL TO DECISION Am I rejecting correction because it hurts my pride, or am I receiving it as an opportunity to grow in wisdom and character? LITTLE WISDOM Correction may hurt your pride for a moment, but rejecting correction can hurt your destiny for a lifetime. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me a humble and teachable heart. Deliver me from pride, defensiveness, and the refusal to accept correction. Help me to recognize godly correction, learn from my mistakes, and make necessary changes. Give me wisdom to correct others with love and grace. Let correction produce growth, maturity, and godly character in my life. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 3rd September, 2026 DAY 246 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (238) THE GATE OF DIVINE INSTRUCTION — THE BATTLE AGAINST IGNORING GOD’S DIRECTION One of the greatest battles every believer must win is the battle against receiving and obeying divine instruction. Many people ask God for blessings but ignore His instructions. Divine instruction is God's guidance for helping you make the right decisions and walk in His purpose. BIBLE PASSAGE: "...I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go..." Psalm 32:8 God does not give instructions to restrict your destiny but to direct, protect, and establish you. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus made it clear that hearing His words must be followed by obedience. "...If ye love me, keep my commandments..." John 14:15 Divine instruction becomes profitable when it is obeyed. Living under divine instruction involves: --Listening to God's Word. --Praying for direction. --Following the leading of the Holy Spirit. --Testing every instruction by Scripture. --Obeying God even when it is difficult. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE 1. Christ obeyed the Father's will. "...Nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done..." Luke 22:42 Jesus demonstrated perfect submission to the Father's will. 2. Christ is our perfect example of obedience. "...he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death..." Philippians 2:8 3. Obedience brings divine blessing. "...If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land..." Isaiah 1:19 WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST --Ignoring God's Word. --Following feelings above Scripture. --Allowing people to influence you against God's instruction. --Delaying obedience. --Choosing convenience over obedience. --Trusting personal wisdom above God's direction. --Refusing correction. OBEY GOD'S COMMAND THROUGH CHRIST "...Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only..." James 1:22 God is not looking for people who only hear His instructions. He wants people who will put His Word into practice. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Read God's Word daily. --Pray before major decisions. --Listen for divine direction. --Obey promptly. --Remain humble and teachable. --Do not allow pressure to make you disobey God. --Trust God's wisdom above your own. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A pilot may be highly experienced, but he still follows instructions from the control tower. Experience does not remove the need for direction. Likewise, no matter how experienced or successful you become, never become too confident to reject instructions from God. CALL TO DECISION Am I merely asking God to bless my decisions, or am I willing to receive His instruction and obey His direction? LITTLE WISDOM Divine instruction may sometimes challenge your plans, but obedience will always keep you aligned with God's purpose. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, give me a listening heart and the grace to obey Your instructions. Deliver me from pride, self-will, impatience, and disobedience. Help me to trust Your Word above my feelings and personal understanding. Direct my steps and keep me in Your perfect will. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 2nd September, 2026 DAY 245 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (237) THE GATE OF DIVINE DEPENDENCE — THE BATTLE AGAINST SELF-CONFIDENCE WITHOUT GOD One of the greatest battles every believer must win is the battle against self-confidence that excludes God. Confidence is valuable, but confidence in human ability without dependence on God can become dangerous. There is a difference between healthy confidence and independent self-reliance. Healthy confidence recognizes the abilities God has given you while depending on Him for direction, strength, wisdom, and grace. Self-confidence without God says, "I can do it by myself. I do not need God's direction." Many people begin with God but gradually become so successful that they stop depending on Him. Their achievements create the illusion that they no longer need divine guidance. But the greater your responsibilities become, the greater your need for God. Your ability may take you far, but only dependence on God can keep you on the right path. BIBLE PASSAGE: "...Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding..." Prov. 3:5 God does not forbid you from using your understanding. He warns you against making your understanding your ultimate source of direction. You must trust God above your experience, intelligence, connections, resources, and achievements. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus taught His disciples that lasting fruitfulness comes from remaining connected to Him. "...For without me ye can do nothing..." John 15:5 This does not mean believers are incapable of doing anything in their natural abilities. It means that true spiritual fruitfulness and the fulfillment of God's purpose cannot be separated from dependence on Christ. Living in divine dependence involves: --Praying before major decisions. --Acknowledging God in every area of life. --Trusting God's wisdom above personal assumptions. --Recognizing our limitations. --Giving God the glory for our abilities. --Remaining connected to Christ. Obeying God's instructions even when we feel capable of handling things ourselves. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE 1. Christ is our source of strength. "...I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me..." Philippians 4:13 Paul's confidence was not in himself alone. His strength came through Christ. This is the difference between self-confidence and Christ-confidence. 2. God's strength is made perfect in weakness. "...My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness..." 2 Corinthians 12:9 Recognizing your limitations is not failure. It can become an opportunity to experience God's strength. 3. God directs the steps of those who trust Him. "...The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way..." Psalm 37:23 You should never become so confident in your ability that you stop asking God where to go. WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST --Trusting personal intelligence above God's wisdom. --Depending entirely on past success. --Making plans without prayer. --Assuming experience makes God's guidance unnecessary. --Taking credit for what God has enabled us to accomplish. --Ignoring godly counsel. --Becoming proud because of success. --Believing that financial resources can solve every problem. --Forgetting God after receiving blessings. Success can sometimes create a greater spiritual danger than failure if it causes a person to stop depending on God. OBEY GOD'S COMMAND THROUGH CHRIST "...In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths..." Proverbs 3:6 God wants to be acknowledged not only in church activities but in all our ways. That includes our: --Family decisions. --Business plans. --Finances. --Relationships. --Ministry. --Career. --Education. --Investments. --Daily choices. There should be no area of life where you say, "God, I can handle this one without You." HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Pray before making important decisions. --Begin your plans with God. --Thank Him for every ability and achievement. --Seek His direction even when the path seems obvious. --Remain teachable. --Consult wise and godly people. --Recognize your limitations. --Refuse to let success produce pride. --Depend on God's grace daily. --Give God the glory when things succeed. The goal is not to become a person without confidence. The goal is to become confident in God while remaining humble about yourself. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A skilled pilot may have thousands of hours of flying experience, but experience does not make him independent of his instruments, weather information, navigation systems, or communication with air traffic control. His experience makes him more capable, but it does not eliminate his need for guidance. Likewise, experience should make you wiser—not more independent of God. The more experienced you become, the more valuable divine direction should become to you. CALL TO DECISION Am I trusting my abilities more than I trust God, or am I using everything God has given me while remaining completely dependent on Him? LITTLE WISDOM True confidence is not believing you can do everything without God; it is knowing that with God directing you, you can face whatever He has called you to do. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank You for every ability, gift, opportunity, achievement, and strength You have given me. Deliver me from pride and self-confidence that causes me to live as though I do not need You. Teach me to trust You above my intelligence, experience, resources, connections, and accomplishments. Help me to acknowledge You in all my ways and seek Your direction before making important decisions. Keep me humble when I succeed and faithful when I face difficulties. Let my confidence always be rooted in You rather than in myself. May everything I accomplish bring glory to Your name, and may I never become so successful that I forget the One who gave me the ability to succeed. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 1st September, 2026 DAY 244 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (236) THE GATE OF HUMILITY THAT RECEIVES WISDOM — HUMILITY OPENS THE HEART TO DIVINE INSTRUCTION One of the greatest battles every believer must win is the battle against pride that prevents learning. A proud heart may hear wisdom but refuse to receive it. It may encounter correction but reject it. It may see a better way but insist on its own way. Humility is the posture that makes the heart teachable. A person does not become wise merely because he possesses knowledge. Wisdom grows when a person is humble enough to listen, learn, ask questions, receive correction, and obey godly instruction. Many people pray for wisdom but resist the people, circumstances, and instructions through which God may be trying to give them wisdom. A proud heart says, "I know." A humble heart says, "Teach me." BIBLE PASSAGE: "...When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom..." Prov. 11:2 Scripture connects humility with wisdom because humility creates an atmosphere in which instruction can be received. The humble person does not consider correction an attack. He sees it as an opportunity for growth. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus Christ is the greatest example of humility. Though He possessed divine authority, He willingly humbled Himself and submitted to the Father's will. "...Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus..." Philippians 2:5 The mind of Christ teaches you that greatness and humility are not opposites. True greatness is demonstrated through submission, service, and obedience. Living with a humble and teachable heart involves: -Listening before responding. -Receiving correction without anger. -Admitting when you are wrong. -Asking for help when necessary. -Respecting godly counsel. -Learning from others. -Submitting your plans to God's will. Giving God the glory for every achievement. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE 1. Christ demonstrated perfect humility. "...And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross..." Philippians 2:8 Jesus did not allow His position to prevent Him from demonstrating humility. If Christ humbled Himself, then no believer should consider humility beneath his dignity. 2. God gives grace to the humble. "...God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble..." James 4:6 Humility positions you to receive God's grace. Pride pushes correction away; humility welcomes the help that God provides. 3. The humble receive instruction. "...The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility..." Proverbs 15:33 Before God entrusts greater influence, He often develops greater humility. WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST --Refusing correction. --Thinking you already know everything. --Becoming defensive when challenged. --Looking down on other people's ideas. --Rejecting counsel because of pride. --Refusing to apologize when wrong. --Taking every correction personally. --Believing that age or position makes you infallible. --Depending entirely on your own understanding. One of the most dangerous statements a person can make is: "Nobody can teach me anything." The moment a person becomes unteachable, growth begins to slow down. OBEY GOD'S COMMAND THROUGH CHRIST "...The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility..." Proverbs 15:33 God wants His children to remain teachable. Humility does not mean thinking that you are worthless. It means having an accurate understanding of yourself—recognizing your strengths without arrogance and your weaknesses without shame. A humble person can confidently say: "I may be gifted, but I still need God." "I may be experienced, but I can still learn." "I may be a leader, but I can still receive correction." HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Begin each day by acknowledging your dependence on God. --Ask God to teach you. --Listen carefully to wise people. --Receive correction with gratitude. --Admit mistakes quickly. --Apologize when necessary. --Learn from people younger or less experienced than you. --Study God's Word continually. --Avoid boasting about your knowledge or achievements. --Give God the glory for your progress. Remember: humility does not reduce you; it creates room for God to increase you. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A cup that is already full cannot receive more water. Before it can receive something new, some of what it contains must be removed. The same principle applies to the human heart. When the heart is full of pride, assumptions, and the belief that it already knows everything, there is little room for instruction. But when humility empties the heart of arrogance, there is room for wisdom. You cannot receive new wisdom while proudly holding on to the belief that you already know everything. CALL TO DECISION Will I remain proud and resistant to correction, or will I humble myself and become teachable enough to receive the wisdom God is sending into my life? LITTLE WISDOM Humility opens the door through which wisdom enters the heart. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for being my perfect example of humility. Deliver me from pride, arrogance, self-sufficiency, and the attitude that I already know enough. Give me a humble and teachable heart. Help me to receive correction without resentment, listen to wise counsel without defensiveness, and learn from every person and circumstance You use to develop me. Give me grace to admit my mistakes, apologize when I am wrong, and make necessary changes. Let humility open my heart to divine wisdom and instruction. As You increase my knowledge, influence, position, and achievements, keep me deeply rooted in humility. May my life continually bring glory to Your name. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 31st August, 2026 DAY 243 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (235) THE GATE OF PATIENCE — THE BATTLE AGAINST HASTY DECISIONS One of the battles every believer must win is the battle against haste. Many people have entered unnecessary trouble because they made important decisions before they had enough time to pray, think, seek counsel, or understand the consequences. Haste is acting too quickly without adequate consideration. There is a difference between being prompt and being hasty. Promptness responds appropriately to an urgent situation, while haste often reacts without sufficient wisdom. Some decisions can be corrected easily, but others can change the direction of a person's life for many years. A hurried relationship, careless financial commitment, impulsive resignation, uncontrolled words, or premature business decision can create consequences that patience could have prevented. God does not always require immediate action. Sometimes He requires us to wait, pray, listen, and understand. Patience is not inactivity; it is disciplined waiting for the right moment to act. BIBLE PASSAGE: "...Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him..." Proverbs 29:20 Haste can cause a person to speak before thinking and act before understanding. The wise person learns to pause. A moment of patience can prevent years of regret. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY The New Testament teaches believers to be slow to speak and slow to anger. "...Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath..." James 1:19 This principle applies not only to your words but also to your decisions. Before reacting to a situation, you should listen, understand, pray, and then respond. Living with godly patience involves: --Pausing before major decisions. --Praying before reacting. Listening carefully. --Seeking wise counsel. --Examining consequences. --Waiting for God's timing. --Refusing to be controlled by pressure. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE 1. Jesus demonstrated patience. Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus did not allow the demands of people to control His timing. He understood His Father's purpose and acted according to it. At one point, when pressure came from His family concerning His public appearance, Jesus said: "...My time is not yet come..." John 7:6 Jesus understood that timing matters. 2. God makes everything beautiful in His time. "...He hath made every thing beautiful in his time..." Ecclesiastes 3:11 A good thing at the wrong time can become a problem. Therefore, you should not only ask God, "Is this right?" You should also ask, "Is this the right time?" 3. Waiting on God renews strength. "...But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength..." Isaiah 40:31 Waiting does not mean that nothing is happening. God can be preparing you, circumstances, people, or opportunities while you wait. WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST --Fear of missing an opportunity. --Pressure from other people. --Impatience with delay. --Emotional excitement. --Anger. --Greed. --Fear. --Desire for immediate results. --Failure to pray. --Refusal to seek counsel. --Assuming that every opportunity requires an immediate answer. The enemy of patience is often the belief that "If I don't act now, I will lose everything." But sometimes the greatest protection God gives you is the ability to wait. OBEY GOD'S COMMAND THROUGH CHRIST "...He that believeth shall not make haste..." Isaiah 28:16 Faith does not require panic. When you trust God, you do not have to make desperate decisions simply because circumstances appear urgent. Before saying yes, sometimes wisdom says: "Let me pray about it." Before spending, wisdom says: "Let me consider the consequences." Before responding, wisdom says: "Let me understand what happened." Before entering a relationship, wisdom says: "Let me observe character." HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Pray before making major decisions. --Give yourself time when circumstances permit. --Do not make permanent decisions during temporary emotional moments. --Seek wise counsel. --Study the facts. --Consider both short-term and long-term consequences. --Learn to say, "I need time to think." --Refuse unnecessary pressure. --Trust God's timing. --Act promptly when God gives clear direction. Remember: patience does not mean endless delay. It means refusing to move ahead of wisdom and God's direction. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A farmer who plants seeds today cannot demand a harvest tomorrow. He prepares the soil, plants at the right time, waters the crop, removes weeds, and waits patiently. If he digs up the seed every day to check whether it is growing, he may destroy what he planted. In the same way, some things in life require time to develop. Do not destroy tomorrow's harvest by demanding today's result. CALL TO DECISION Will I allow pressure and impatience to push me into hasty decisions, or will I learn to pause, pray, seek wisdom, and wait for the right time? LITTLE WISDOM A hurried decision may give you immediate relief, but a patient decision can protect your future. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, thank You because Your timing is perfect. Deliver me from haste, impatience, fear, pressure, anger, greed, and emotional decisions. Give me the discipline to pause when I need to pause, the wisdom to think before I act, and the patience to wait when You require me to wait. Help me not to make permanent decisions because of temporary circumstances. Give me discernment to know when to wait and courage to act promptly when You give clear direction. Preserve me from decisions that could damage my destiny, relationships, finances, ministry, and future. Teach me to trust Your timing and to walk confidently in Your perfect will. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 30th August, 2026 DAY 242 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (234) THE GATE OF SELF-CONTROL — MASTERING YOURSELF BEFORE YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES One of the greatest battles every believer must win is the battle of self-control. Self-control is the ability to govern your thoughts, emotions, desires, words, appetites, and actions instead of allowing them to control you. Many people know what is right but still do what is wrong because they allow anger, pressure, fear, greed, temptation, or emotions to control their decisions. You cannot always control what happens around you, but by God's grace, you can control how you respond. A person who cannot govern himself will eventually be governed by his impulses. BIBLE PASSAGE “...He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city...” Proverbs 16:32 God considers the ability to control yourself a great victory. Winning yourself can be greater than winning an argument. Controlling your anger can be greater than defeating another person. Controlling your tongue can be greater than having the last word. Self-control is not weakness. It is strength under God's authority. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY “...But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance...” Gal. 5:22–23 Self-control is part of the fruit of the Spirit. Christian maturity is not only knowing God's Word but allowing God's Word to govern your behaviour. “...And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things...” 1 Corinthians 9:25 The Holy Spirit does not only empower us spiritually; He also develops godly character in us. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE 1. Christ gives us strength “...I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me...” Philippians 4:13 We do not depend on human willpower alone. Christ gives us grace to resist temptation and choose what is right. 2. Grace teaches us to say NO “...For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts...” Titus 2:11–12 Grace does not encourage careless living. Grace teaches us to reject what displeases God. Not every invitation should be accepted. Not every desire should be satisfied. Not every provocation deserves a response. Maturity is knowing when to say YES, NO, or NOT NOW. 3. Christ demonstrated controlled strength Christ faced temptation, rejection, suffering, and injustice, yet remained submitted to the Father. “...Nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done...” Luke 22:42 This is the heart of self-control: “Not my will, but Thine, be done.” WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST People often lose the battle of self-control because they: --React before thinking. --Speak when they should remain silent. --Make decisions while angry. --Allow temporary emotions to create permanent consequences. --Satisfy every appetite immediately. --Reject wise counsel and correction. --Allow wrong relationships or environments to weaken them. --Spend money impulsively. --Allow temptation to override godly principles. --Depend on feelings instead of God's Word. Sometimes the greatest enemy is not outside you. It is the uncontrolled part of you. OBEY GOD'S COMMAND “...He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls...” Pro. 25:28 Before you speak, ask: --Does this need to be said? Before you react: --Will my reaction solve the problem or make it worse? Before you decide: --Am I acting from faith or from emotion? Before you follow a desire: --Am I controlling this desire, or is it controlling me? HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Identify your weaknesses. --Know where you are most vulnerable. --Pause before reacting. You do not have to respond immediately. --Pray when tempted. Jesus said, “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.” — Matt. 26:41. --Control your environment. --Avoid places, relationships, and situations that repeatedly lead you into temptation. --Learn to say NO. You do not need everyone's approval to obey God. --Feed your spirit with God's Word. Read it, meditate on it, pray it, and practise it. --Learn from your mistakes. --Do not merely repent from the fall; discover what led to it. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A businessman had a habit of responding angrily whenever a client offended him. Several clients had withdrawn from business because of his angry reactions. One day, a client sent him an offensive message. He began typing an angry response but stopped. He put down his phone, prayed, and returned later when he was calm. Instead of reacting, he called the client and discussed the matter peacefully. The disagreement was resolved, and the business relationship was preserved. The situation did not change first. His response changed first. Sometimes victory does not come from changing your circumstances but from changing how you respond to them. CALL TO DECISION Today, decide: I will not allow my emotions to become my master. I will not allow anger to control my tongue. I will not allow temptation to control my choices. I will not allow pressure to control my decisions. I will submit myself to Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to develop self-control in me. LITTLE WISDOM True strength is not merely the ability to conquer others; it is the ability to govern yourself under God's authority. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for giving me strength to live a disciplined and victorious life. Help me to control my thoughts, emotions, desires, words, appetites, and actions. Deliver me from anger, impulsiveness, greed, fear, temptation, and careless decisions. Holy Spirit, produce the fruit of self-control in me. Teach me to pause before reacting, pray before deciding, and obey Your Word even when my feelings disagree. Give me grace to say NO to what will destroy my destiny and YES to what pleases You. Let self-control preserve my peace, protect my relationships, strengthen my character, and help me fulfil Your purpose for my life. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 29th August, 2026 DAY 241 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (233) THE GATE OF TRUTH — THE BATTLE AGAINST DECEPTION One of the most dangerous battles every believer must win is the battle against deception. Deception is dangerous because it does not always look like error. It can appear attractive, reasonable, spiritual, profitable, or harmless while quietly leading a person away from truth and God's purpose. Deception occurs when a person is caused to believe what is false or misleading. It can come through false teaching, misleading information, unhealthy relationships, empty promises, wrong counsel, personal assumptions, or even the deceitfulness of our own hearts. The enemy's strategy has always involved distorting truth. In the Garden of Eden, Satan questioned God's Word and presented disobedience as something desirable. Therefore, believers must not only love truth; they must become deeply rooted in it. When truth is weak in a person's life, deception becomes easier to accept. BIBLE PASSAGE: "...And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free..." John 8:32 Jesus teaches that truth brings freedom. Deception produces bondage, confusion, fear, and wrong decisions, while God's truth brings clarity and liberty. Truth is not merely an idea. Truth is found ultimately in Jesus Christ and revealed through God's Word. THE NEW TESTAMENT REALITY Jesus strongly warned His disciples about deception. "...Take heed that no man deceive you..." Matthew 24:4 This warning remains relevant today. Believers must be spiritually alert because deception can come through people, teachings, ideologies, relationships, and even religious activities. The apostle Paul also warned believers: "...Let no man deceive you with vain words..."Eph. 5:6 Living in victory over deception involves: --Knowing God's Word. --Testing what you hear. --Maintaining a close relationship with Christ. --Refusing to follow every popular opinion. --Examining motives and consequences. --Seeking godly counsel. --Remaining spiritually alert. CHRIST HAS WON THIS BATTLE 1. Jesus is the Truth. "...Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life..." John 14:6 Your greatest protection against deception is a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. When you know the Truth, falsehood becomes easier to recognize. 2. God's Word protects us from error. "...Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth..." John 17:17 The Word of God provides the standard by which teachings, ideas, decisions, and claims can be tested. 3. The Holy Spirit guides us into truth. "...Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth..." John 16:13 The Holy Spirit helps believers understand God's truth and recognize what is inconsistent with it. WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST --Neglecting God's Word. --Believing everything without examination. --Following popular opinion instead of biblical truth. --Allowing emotions to replace discernment. --Being attracted to sensational teachings. --Refusing correction. --Trusting people more than God's Word. --Allowing greed or desperation to influence judgment. --Ignoring warning signs. --Assuming that everything religious is automatically biblical. One of the greatest forms of deception is believing something simply because you want it to be true. Desire can become dangerous when it silences discernment. OBEY GOD'S COMMAND THROUGH CHRIST "...Prove all things; hold fast that which is good..." 1 Thessalonians 5:21 God does not command us to accept everything blindly. We are instructed to examine and test. When you hear a teaching, receive a prophecy, encounter an opportunity, or receive counsel, ask: --Does it agree with Scripture? --Does it reflect the character of Christ? --What fruit does it produce? --What are its consequences? --Is it consistent with God's truth? HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Know the Scriptures. --Pray for discernment. --Test teachings carefully. --Do not make decisions solely because of emotion. --Examine information before sharing it. --Be cautious of exaggerated promises. --Avoid people who consistently manipulate or deceive. --Listen to mature and trustworthy counsel. --Remain humble and teachable. --Keep Jesus at the center of your decisions. The more deeply you know the truth, the harder it becomes for deception to control you. LIFE ILLUSTRATION A person who is unfamiliar with genuine currency may easily accept a counterfeit note. However, a person who handles genuine currency regularly becomes familiar with its features and can identify unusual characteristics. In the same way, believers who rarely study God's Word may struggle to identify spiritual deception. But those who continually study, meditate upon, and practice God's truth become more sensitive to error. Do not spend all your time studying counterfeit ideas. Become deeply familiar with the genuine truth. CALL TO DECISION Will I accept everything I hear, see, or receive, or will I deliberately test it against God's Word and remain firmly established in the truth? LITTLE WISDOM Deception loses its power when truth becomes the foundation of your life. PRAYER My Lord Jesus Christ, thank You because You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Protect me from every form of deception, falsehood, manipulation, error, and spiritual confusion. Give me a deep love for Your Word and a strong desire to know the truth. Open my understanding and sharpen my discernment so that I will recognize deception before it damages my life and destiny. Deliver me from believing lies because of fear, greed, desperation, pressure, or personal desire. Help me to test everything according to Your Word and hold firmly to what is true. Let the Holy Spirit guide me into all truth and preserve me from every trap of the enemy. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Written by: Beloved in Christ Pastor Olanrewaju G. L. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 28th August, 2026 DAY 240 THE BATTLES YOU MUST WIN (232) THE GATE OF WISDOM IN DEALING WITH PEOPLE — WISDOM PRESERVES DESTINY Yesterday, we considered the danger of wrong associations. Today, we must learn how to deal wisely with the people around us. You cannot avoid people, but you can choose how you relate with them. Wisdom teaches you whom to trust, whom to listen to, whom to correct, whom to help, and when to establish boundaries. Not everyone should have the same level of access to your life. BIBLE PASSAGE: “...The wise in heart will be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning...” Proverbs 16:21 Wisdom is revealed not only in what we know but also in how we speak, respond, forgive, and handle difficult people. CHRISTIAN WISDOM IN DEALING WITH PEOPLE 1. Control your words. “...A soft answer turneth away wrath...” Proverbs 15:1 2. Forgive others. “...forgiving one another...” Colossians 3:13 Forgiveness protects your heart from bitterness, but forgiveness does not mean removing every boundary. 3. Do not trust everyone equally. “...But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men...” John 2:24 Jesus loved people, but He understood that trust and access must be handled wisely. 4. Choose your relationships carefully. “...Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners...” 1 Corinthians 15:33 The people closest to you can influence your character, decisions, faith, and destiny. WHY THIS BATTLE IS LOST --Speaking before thinking. --Trusting too quickly. --Allowing anger to control your response. --Revealing private matters to the wrong people. --Refusing to forgive. --Giving everyone unrestricted access to your life. --Confusing kindness with weakness. --Allowing people's opinions to control your decisions. HOW TO WALK IN VICTORY --Listen before you speak. --Pray before making important decisions. --Forgive quickly. --Keep healthy boundaries. --Do not judge by appearance alone. --Choose peace whenever possible. --Seek godly counsel. --Love people without compromising God's Word. CALL TO DECISION Today, make a firm decision to obey God’s commandments through Christ, regardless of people’s pressure. --Love people, but do not compromise God’s Word. --Forgive, but maintain godly boundaries. --Help others, but do not participate in wrongdoing. --Seek peace, but never sacrifice truth for acceptance. --Choose Christ over people’s opinions. --Choose obedience over compromise. --Choose wisdom over emotions. --Choose holiness over acceptance. Your decision today: “I will love people wisely, relate with them in wisdom, and obey Christ in all things.” LITTLE WISDOM You cannot choose everyone you meet, but you can choose how you respond to them. Wisdom teaches you to love people without allowing their weaknesses to destroy your destiny. PRAYER Lord Jesus, give me wisdom in dealing with every person in my life. Teach me when to speak, when to remain silent, when to forgive, and when to establish boundaries. Deliver me from anger, bitterness, careless words, and wrong relationships. Help me to love people without compromising Your Word, and give me wisdom to protect my faith, character, purpose, and destiny. In Jesus' name, Amen.
