FORGED AGE DECLARATION AND OTHER DOCUMENTS OF KOGI STATE GOVERNOR, USMAN ODODO REVEALED ..........at the Kogi State election petition tribunal in Abuja, it was a shocking turn of events, as evidence of forgery emerged against Usman Ododo of the APC. Documents, including Age declaration and other crucial materials submitted by Ododo to INEC, have been uncovered and proven to be FORGED. The witness who presented these documents, also included the Age declaration attached to form EC9 of Dino Melaye, Leke Abejide, and Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, to the court for comparison. Upon verification of the authenticity of that of Ododo, the tribunal accepted it as evidence and marked them as exhibits. Ebira Advocates for Good Governance Urges Tinubu to Begin Fight Against Corruption in His Cabinet A group operating under the name Ebira Advocates for Good Governance has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to initiate his fight against corruption by addressing the issue within his own cabinet. The group criticized the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) for its alleged political witch hunt against the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello. The group spokesperson, Hon. Onimisi Jatto, spoke to journalists in Abuja after their meeting, stating that recent political developments in Nigeria, particularly in Kogi State, were the reason for their concern. He expressed dissatisfaction with the President's failure to rein in anti-graft agencies, particularly the EFCC, which he claimed were being used as political instruments by individuals in the Presidency. Hon. Jatto questioned the EFCC's actions against Alhaji Yahaya Bello, while other former governors who are now cabinet members seem to go untouched. He also questioned the lack of action against a former governor caught on camera with cash in his traditional attire. The group praised Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his performance as the Governor of Kogi State and called on President Tinubu to intervene and protect him from those who do not have the country's or President's best interests at heart. The EFCC had recently brought money laundering charges against Alhaji Yahaya Bello and three others, with an estimated amount of N84 billion involved. However, the Governor of Kogi State, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo, has strongly protested against these charges, asserting that no money is missing from the state. In light of these developments, Ebira Advocates for Good Governance urges President Tinubu to direct the anti-graft agency to halt the damage to the state and former governor's reputations.

The court session at the National Judicial Institute in Abuja resumed today, March 12, 2024, at 9:07 am. BVAS (Biometric Voter Authentication System) arrived at the court premises around 8:20 am, accompanied by fully armed security personnel securing the surroundings. After the announcement of appearances from all legal teams present, the court proceeded directly to the day's proceedings. It is worth noting that the BVAS demonstration commenced yesterday, marking a significant precedent as BVAS had never been openly demonstrated in court during election tribunal proceedings. The examination, which concluded at Polling Unit 006, Okene Ward 1 yesterday, delved deeper into the examination today. A.S. Okutepa pleaded with the court to summon PW1 to continue from where he left off, and the court granted his request after some legal confrontation from the representative of the second respondent. I am saddened by the news of the demise of our father, elder statesman and leader, Architect Gabriel Aduku. As it was designed by God almighty, death is the inevitable end of all mankind and a price every man living must pay. Our leader has paid that price. The late Elder statesman is an icon of the Igala race, an astute kogite and a patriotic Nigerian who served our country selflessly and who contributed immensely to the success of the Igala kingdom and our dear state. Our kingdom is thrown into mourning because we have lost one of the finest ambassadors of the Igala kingdom. I share in the grief of his immediate family, friends, the Igala kingdom, Kogi state and Nigeria at Large over this irreplaceable loss. It is my prayers that his soul will rest in peace and the family will have the strength to pull through this sad moment. Rest In Peace Sir. Signed: Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka,Kogi State SDP Gubernatorial Candidate For 2023. 11/03/2024.

In a groundbreaking development emerging from the Kogi State Governorship election petition tribunal, currently convened in Abuja, a significant revelation has come to light. The tribunal officially acknowledged using Bi-modal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines during the crucial gubernatorial election held on November 11, 2023. BVAS, a sophisticated electoral technology, employs biometric and visual identification methods to authenticate and verify voters during the electoral process. This system, with its dual-mode approach, ensures the accuracy and integrity of the accreditation process by cross-referencing biometric data such as fingerprints or facial recognition with voter information. These advanced machines, prominently deployed across key constituencies, including Okene Ajaokuta, Adavi, Okehi, and Lokoja LGA, have emerged as central elements in the unfolding legal saga. Notably, they have been submitted as compelling evidence and formally marked as exhibits, signalling a meticulous examination of the electoral proceedings. With anticipation reaching a fever pitch, the tribunal has adjourned its sessions, with a scheduled resumption on March 12, 2024. As eager observers await further deliberations, they remain poised to unravel the intricate details embedded within this captivating narrative. Kogi Global News

Indication have emerged that some hawks within and outside the Presidential Villa, who are scheming to take over the job of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, have hatched a plot to link the former speaker of the House of Representatives to the transactions carried out by the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu. Memos have continued to leak from the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry and its agencies, following the suspension of Edu, who is being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. Recall that a leaked memo dated December 18, 2023, from the Office of Chief of Staff to the President revealed that President Bola Tinubu had approved N3 billion from the COVID-19 Palliative Fund for verification of the National Social Register. The memo had sparked outrage among some Nigerians on social media. Reacting to the leaked memo,Northern Ethnic Group Assembly (NEYGA), in the statement signed by its spokesperson, Mr. Ibrahim Dan-Musa, shared with journalists said "distractors have failed in your plot against against the engine rooms of Tinubu administration". According to the group, the latest memo that came out was just an attempt by some persons within and outside the Villa to tie Gbajabiamila to the Betta Edu investigation. Nuhu stated that :"This is a time for the government to settle down," commending the president for dismissing Betta Edu and questioning those attempting to implicate Gbajabiamila in a letter of approval. The group wonders how the Chief of Staff can assume the position of authority, urging politicians to learn tolerance instead of engaging in a direct campaign of calumny against Gbajabiamila, who has served eight years as speaker without scandal. Ibrahim asserted that mischief-makers are blinded by illiteracy behind the campaign of calumny against the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila. He noted that such memos would continue to circulate, with Gbajabiamila as the prime target. The statement read, "To say Gbaja is an authority in law and a professor in government procedures is not an overstatement." "It is clear some people are still seeking the downfall of one of the best brains in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, but they have failed." "Someone who managed 360 elected representatives of the Federal House of Representatives for a solid four years without a blemish will not fall for a peanut. Detractors do not understand the quality and value of Femi Gbajabiamila. "The Chief of Staff has crossed the bridge before it collapsed, so what they are pursuing is emptiness the second day after the Market day! "We, the concerned citizens for good governance, will soon expose all of you behind the evils you planned. "It is now an open secret that you want the government of President Bola Tinubu to fail by trying to pull down the pillars of support behind him. "Whether you are a Christian or Muslim, whatever you sow, you shall reap. We will go after all of you and expose you to the world. "The current Chief of Staff has not faced twenty percent of the attacks one of his predecessors, Abba Kyari, got over wrong allegations. President Tinubu’s verdict on his Chief of Staff’s integrity is known to the public."
