No matter who you ship with always expect to have one or two issues,well not always tho. Unless you choose to use dhl and even with dhl expect to be charged another fee when it gets to Nigeria.

Hello gurus in the house, from @ ymodulus, @yemi2plus, @mayorall, @thespecialone, @shinaf and others ur advice is urgently needed: i bought some battery (android tab) and non battery item from my supplier on alibaba, while making the purchase i gave supplier st patrick china's address because everyone was saying st patrick is good and nonykings is dissapointing them.......... But unfortunately towards the last posts on this thread, see people's post on this same st patrick........its another thing entirely........... From delays, no picking up of calls, not replying messages etc.............i'm just fed up

I love this thread because pple post their ideas (pls don't incorporate all the details so as to make it abit difficult to steal): and other people review such ideas here and see if its feasible. But pls note that even if your idea is being dissaproved from someone's opinion : it doesn't mean it can't work ; twitter is an example of that; friends made jest of them at the beginning but today twitter's founders are dollar billonaires today.
I also have a couple of interesting projects ( starting up a nigerian phone , tablets and mobile accessories company ) its no doubt that people all over the world buy phones like pure water daily: tecno said it shipped 20 million phone units to west Africa ( or rather Africa) : infinx zero(24 thousand naira) sells over 20,000 units of a single phone in 3 weeks on konga, it has gone on to sell far beyond 50,000 units of that single phone: the 2 fastest selling items (that sell like pure water and recharge card) daily on online stores (including jumia nd konga) is simply phones and clothings, phones sell like hot craze simply because everyone wants to use the latest, the fastest, the biggest the best of newly available phones.
To cut the long story short.......i have started talks with.... (let me leave it at that). In short our phones will have the latest specs with a good quality and the best of the best pricing(jaw dropping affordable price) in 9ja when I launch. The secret to an African man's pocket is give him what he wants (high specs and good quality at a price he can afford...trust me he can't resist it).....I will end the details here(meaning I wouldn't say more than this , trust me if I break the whole thing down u are already convinced.....so I may be looking for individual or group of investors that will invest a said amount (jst few single digit Million naira) for 50% equity in the company.....there are various ways in which revenue flows in apart frm sales....I personally knw more of 2/3 ways cash flow in apart frm selling our phones, tablets nd accessories..........pls note: when we start no need for marketing......***** an high spec device with a jaw dropping price will always sell itself by itself once it in distributed to major offline stores (e.g slot and all others etc) and online stores (e.g konga, jumia etc)......aurevoir....wish us all the best in our ende avors*******

Basically, all their phones comes with gorilla class and they are affordable. My company is in charge of all the selected outlets in Warri and Benin (we are also an outlet). I just got a call from the regional supervisor from Wiko that some equipments will come in on Monday or Tuesday and my team will go round installing the Wiko smart tables, wall racks, etc in these chosen outlets to prepare them for their launch. My company will also be in charge of sales monitoring, logistics, and supervision of these outlets under my jurisdiction. So......loads of work this week.

I was doing some marketing some time ago trying to convince an oil servicing company to let us produce their company official documentation (profile, DPR registration, Tax papers, etc) the director insisted that he's got someone he will use for the job so i relaxed and committed it in the hands of God. The extra-ordinary happened over the weekend. I was in my office on Saturday and i got a call from the company that they needed to see me urgently. So i invited them over. The company manager and another staff came and the report i got was that the guy they were relying on to produce those documents disappeared into thin air. They have paid him about half a million naira and he just vanished. So right now they have no choice but to come looking for me. I told them i will do the job and will try to deliver in time because they are supposed to begin a new pipeline project next week and without those documents there will be a problem. I gave them my consultation fees and i am still waiting for an update as they had to go and confer with their director to approve the money. So.....am waiting with my arms akimbo

Your books need to be looking good at all times, you have to do good monthly balancing and reconciliation no matter how small so at the end of the year you can produce an audited account. You might think these things dont matter but by the time you land yourself a big contract, things like these might let the contract slip by your fingers.

This poster will not have much problem learning node.js or any javaScript technology, I can see he is skilled in programming. My solving the problem was just because I was more experienced (and so have made more mistakes in the past than the op), that is why I can write raw JavaScript to work on all platforms without needing jQuery. I can use jQuery very well mind you, but sometimes due to performance issues, i will just use ordinary javascript.
Next issue, if you cant write ordinary javascript without jquery, how will you cope with technologies like node.js and mongodb both of rely heavily on javascript (and jquery cannot help you on the serve side of node.js anyway).
