HOW DID THE IGBOS STARTED THE TRIBAL HATE,Let me bring to ur knowledge if u don't know,
1.THE south easterners sees the NZEOGWUS as IGBOS.
2.AWOLOWO introduced coup in nigeria in 1963 after he saw NNAMDI AZIKIWE and TAFAWA BALEWA becoming the president and prime minister,so he planned a coup to overthrow TAFAWA BALEWA and became the prime minister,unfortunately for him he was caught and charge with treason after the militarys the fg sent to his house in ikenne,ogun state to confirm the coup plan found lots of ammunitions and weapons there which he planned to use and execute his coup,TAFAWA BALEWA later sentenced him to 15yrs imprisonment.
3.IF you read ur history very well,u will find out that the reason behind the 1966 coup was to abolish the first republic because the northerners were the majority in the government and for AHMADU BELLO'S hate speeches and discrimination of the southerners and that the coup plotters planned to bring out AWOLOWO from the prison and make him president but IRONSI who was among those planned to be killed because they sensed he could take over power after the coup because he was the highest ranking military then,he managed to escape and he nullified the coup from extending and took over power by force.
4.The northerners have been killing the easterners before the 1966 coup e.g kano riot 1956.
5.do you know that calling NNAMDI AZIKIWE a vice president is like calling QUEEN ELIZABETH a vice president to DAVID CAMERON.

Bruv, you need a proper education about Nigeria history.

Awolowo never plan any coup; it was Igbos' fallacy...

And the same Aguiyi Ironsi who was planned to be killed by the Igbo coupists decided to protect the same Igbo coupists in the East.

Awolowo planned a coup and allowed his yoruba officers in the military and politicians to be killed by Igbo coupists.

Finally, the last paragraph of your write up reeks of total ignorance. It was parliamentary system that was in place in d first republic in Nigeria unlike what we have now which presidential system of govt. Nnamdi Azikiwe was mere ceremonial president while Prime minister Tafawa Balewa was the real president.

Its hard to say this but I have to. As an Igbo person that I am, I feel hurt that this happened but lest stop holding on to old wounds and move on. Separation wouldn't heal this age long wound, we aren't even united enough amidst ourselves (Igbo's) to go break out of Nigeria our country. What we seek is probably for Nigeria to admit that we were wronged as a people, make amends and move forward. Honestly, we should seek ways to leave the past where it is.

Point of correction and stop deluding yourselves-Igbos by saying that Nigerians wronged you.

Igbos would enjoy peace d day they choose to tell themselves the truth.

The reason why you guys still remained in this position of being wronged is the fact that you guys see yourselves as judges in your own case.

There are videos of leaders from other major tribes in Nigeria about Igbos as far back as 50th and 60s and all their assertions in that videos are happening today.

You guys always pick your stories from reactions to your repulsive actions/utterances-civil war and pogrom but ignore what you have done to warrant such reactions from others.

Let's take Radiobiafra as a case study here, if Yoruba in South West and Northerners start their own local radio stations with the same hate messages, what would be the fates of your kinsmen in these places? Would you start wailing about genocide then?

You guys easily claimed that the incumbent Governor of Delta state is Igbo man but as soon as Nzeogwu name is mentioned, you quickly denied him and say he was from Delta state.

Have you guys apologised to the Northerners for tormenting their lives prior to pogrom? You called these Northerners all sort of unprinted names and their reactions was the pogrom which was well deserved.

The coup: Have you guys apologised to other Nigerians whom you killed their families and leaders? You even tried to justify this barbaric killing of other tribes'leaders by saying those Igbo soldiers fought for the betterment of all despite the fact that Igbo politicians and military officers weren't killed. How could you kill Buhari(Tafawa Balewa) as a corrupt leaders and leave Osinbajo(Nnamdi Azikiwe) in the same supposed corrupt govt?

Have Igbos apologised for destroying the flourishing regional system of govt in place in 60s and replaced it with unitary system of govt despite all pleas?

This is real story/history of Nigeria before and after independence and the moment you guys take all the above wrongdoings into considerarion, the better for you all.

"To every action, there must be a reaction". Stop pushing others to react to your actions such as; Radiobiafra and utterances....

Historically, Igbos started all the tribal
