His effect in the educational sector is still been felt today as most schools and Anambra state in general is doing well in most national and international completions. He built many roads and was able to drag back the state from the bankruptcy that the Mbadinimuju administration plunged the state into.
He did all these and still left millions of dollars for his successor to work with. Even though they later fell out they still has no scratch on him and he is one of the few governors Efcc did not go after when he left office.
