happy weekend to everyone. i will check out that Lee Seung Gi movie. The plot sounds interesting. i am still watching brillant legacy,and Moon Chae Won is the second female lead there,lol. what a coincidence!

i am not surprise your mum likes him cos he performed exceptionally well in good doctor. joo won seems like a nice person off screen. i am not always interested in k actors personalities but i always get the feeling that joo won,lee seung gi and won bin are nice people(not saying others are not) and dont pretend when the camera starts rolling. Won bin has been my only korean crush for two years now. i like other actors and their dramas but i love won bin so much. if he proposes to me(maybe in my dreams),i will accept without blinking. He is an older actor but he is so mysterious,doesn't talk much, very shy,doesnt do interviews,no plastic surgery(was so handsome as a child),very decent,acts movies once in four years(which i dont like).i can write a book about him. i love lee min ho,ji chang wook and others but won bin has been my secret crush for so long. i dont talk to others about it,this is my first time,lol.

I'll try to make note in the future dramas I watch. I'm sure I don't see any make up on Zo In Sung, So Ji Sub, Ji Chang Wook, Lee Joon Gi, Le Seung Gi, Lee Min Ho, Kim Woo Bin, Yoo Chun, Joo Won etc

Maybe some color on their lips sometimes, but not so obvious...I'm not sure. But the K-pop male bands are guilty of supplementing their 'beauty' with fun makeup. Not that they need it to look hot. They just are.

i dont know what to think again,maybe some of them are born with red lips.

Oh my mistake, I didn't say our k-drama actors use make-up per se. I meant in Korea, their men sometimes wear makeup. These are the metrosexual types who are possibly entertainers of some sort, maybe musicians, models and such. I know for a fact that K-pop male singers/bands have no problem wearing a bit of liner or other makeup/hairdos.

As for the average k-drama actor, I won't go as far as to say they wear makeup oooo. They are naturally feminine-looking because of their flawless skin and triangular features. Which means in a long wig, they could pass for girls. What pains me is when my little nephew would mistake their women for men, and their men for women What is that?

kdrama actors wear make up. They apply lipstick and use bb cream,it seems you have not noticed their lips,their lips are always red in color. they dont always wear eyeliner(though Jang geun suk wore eyeliner in "you are beautiful"drama).i think the reason why they look feminine is because of make up and long hair.

One of the reasons my eldest brother dislikes K dramas is because of their pretty flower boy actors. He just can't stand them lol.
I like cute guys but when they are too pretty, it becomes a problem. Which is why I don't really like their Kpop boy bands, most of them are feminine and they even make up.

lol, Any time i watch dramas,my mum will look at my laptop screen and ask "is that a girl? sometimes it is very difficult to differentiate between a boy and a girl. any way, it is their culture,but i think it is getting ridiculous. if you watch old kdramas like autumn tale,my girl,lovers in paris,what happened in bali etc,you will notice some of the actors didn't use make up. so i think that trend started newly. it is okay to use make up,but when they overdo it,it becomes something else. Joo Won is the only k actor i know that doesn't use too much make up, that's why his appearance in awards is always voted the best by people in dramabeans every year.

now I can certainly vouch for that lol. I watched some behind the scenes of Empress Ki one time and Puppy can EAT my gosh. Those times between filming with everyone just hanging around eating...this guy can put down some serious grub. You know all those food they set out during the scenes...I mean the ones served in the drama...the guy will just end up wacking all of it. He was cute though and the camera just loves him whether on or off the drama.

yeah, lmao,he can eat. i wonder how he maintains a good physique, maybe he likes exercising. Have you seen any of his photoshoots? he is so photogenic and looks handsome in all of them. Another thing i discovered is that he is more handsome off screen than onscreen, i have watched enough of his off screen activities to know that.

Ahn Jae-hyeon definitely doesn't look late twenties which is his age bracket. Don't know if that's good for him...but he sure has fans who love his look. Like I said, they fit into that 'flower boy' kind of trend that started with actors like Lee Jun Ki who can pass for girls in certain make up and hair do's

lee jun ki can pass for a girl,but he has a manly aura. he was so handsome in "my girl",i haven't seen any of his dramas apart from " my girl". Speaking of beautiful and girly looking korea actors,the one that always comes to my mind is No Min Woo(second lead actor in" my girlfriend is a gumiho",main lead in full house2). That boy turned Lee seung gi into an octopus in "my girlfriend is a gumiho". He is the most beautiful korea actor i have ever seen and has a beautiful skin. he is always more beautiful than his female costars.

Did you know...Kim Soo Hyun is a year younger than the guy Ahn Jae-hyeon who played Gianna Jun's younger brother in You From the star? I mean the guy playing lead male in Blood That must have been weird, KSH playing 'hyung' to a guy who's older than him but looks years younger.

Ahn Jae-hyeon said he enjoyed working with KSH and even asked for acting tips (since AJH is new to k-dramas while KSH has been around for a while) I think that's cute they've got a bromance going on ;

That Ahn jae hyeon guy looks much younger than his age. when i discovered he was born in 1987,i didn't believe it. he is in the same league with kim soo hyun (baby faces)

He is NOT the best. But he's been good in all his roles so far and is exceptionally respected/admired by fans ALL OVER THE WORLD. I'm serious lol.

Even in USA...

yeah, he is a popular actor and a decent actor. for me, he is not attractive, maybe teenagers find him attractive(too bad i am not one of them). i prefer manly actors, the ones that ooze appeal.Another i will add to that list is kim woo bin,though not a great visual(facially)but he oozes appeal.

i have said it before and i will say it again,lee min ho is one of the overrated korea actors,you will notice that i have not said anything about him being a good actor. i just like watching his dramas(ones with good storyline,) and he has a great screen presence that makes me want to watch anything he appears in. i can be biased about an actor,but when it comes to acting chops,i say the truth. the likes of hyun bin,ji chang wook, lee seung gi, joo won,song joon ki and others are better actors.

lol,i randomly clicked on that video while searching for something else,the video is very funny. lmao@fans wanting to be the sweet he was licking. kim soo hyun is/has never been my cup of tea. guy is older than me by few years but i can pass as his grandmother. i dont like baby face actors, he looks like a 12 year old and i never find him attractive. i watch his dramas if the storyline is interesting. i think overrated is an understatement,he is not the best actor out there,and he got popular really fast.

lol, i watched a recent airport scene of ji chang wook on youtube. Dude was so busy licking sweets while standing at a corner and many passengers in the airport recognized him(they were staring at him) I heard that he likes food. Did i mention that he has a sexy walking step?.i love his walking step.lol.

I want KSH to couple up with someone his age or younger. I don't really want him in another Noona-Romance.

i am one of the few that didn't watch dream high, i tried but stopped at episode 2.i don't get the hype. there is nothing wrong with noona romances, the most important thing is chemistry. kim soo hyun had chemistry with jun ji hyun in "my love from another star", eventhough they are ages apart, same with lee jong suk and lee bo young in "i hear your voice". it seems i have not watched enough IU's projects to judge her acting, but i still prefer gong hyo jin.

i am still waiting for Lee min ho to star in a new drama,seems he is wasting time to pick a new project. i will watch the crap out of any drama he picks cos it has been long since i saw him in a drama. it is a pity that other actors that are given time to shine end up being boring as hell.:Thats why there are many ongoing dramas with new actors with no one to choose. i need a new drama to follow week by week, like i did with healer.

i am looking out for kim soo hyun and kim woo bin drama. They should have chosen Gong Hyo Jin to star alongside kim soo hyun. i dont like IU that much,i only saw her in pretty man,which was a flop with a boring storyline. There are many boring k actors and boring dramas nowadays. i need charismatic actors not boring actors.

Wow that was quick - you finished Good Doctor. Well most dramas can be finised in 2-3 days so long as they aren't more than 24 episodes. Some freaks (like me ) can watch a 16-episode drama in 24 hours

That was in the early days anyway. Now I'm trying to curb those excesses. Have to get a life lol cos one can't survive on watching K-dramas lmao

I'll focus on just following this week's ongoing episodes. I'll leave my marathon watching for the weekend.

lol,i normally watch dramas at night,it gives me time to finish it faster. besides,i dont do much nowadays, i finished school last yr, probably waiting for nysc. tired of staying home.

wow,i like his answers,even if they are dating,it will be better if he doesnt reveal it. it is always better for actors to keep their relationships secret. The same thing happened to jung yong hwa and park shin hye, they were rumoured to be dating, and korean netizens claimed they saw them on different occasions but they denied it. accepting the rumour will put a lot of pressure on them.

Was it that bad? i like his interviews cos he gives honest answers. Actually, ji chang wook is very different from his onscreen persona,he is kinda shy in real life. i remember watching his running man episode cos people were talking about it, boy was very shy and said few words,and when they were riding the rollercoaster,he was so scared and was shouting omma! omma!.i laughed out loud when i watched it, same with his radio star interview.

Ommggg my bad it's my phone's keyboard autocorrect that puts me in all sorts of trouble I typed Ji and it corrected it into Kitchen and I must have missed it. I definitely meant Ji Chang Wook. Wow, I didn't know it was from Empress Ki they started calling him 'Puppy'. Uggh I loved them together in that drama - I was definitely shipping Sungyang and the Emperor and NOT her and Wang yu.

I started Coffee Prince and it's very nice, the girl is soo funny in ep 01.

lmao,i guessed it might be a mistake. yeah, Ji Chang Wook was named puppy after empress ki. i actually shipped the emperor and nyang, never liked the king. happy to know you are watching coffe prince, Yoon Eun Hye is very good in comedy, same with Gong Yoo.

Awards should be given to people who deserve them. But I heard there is a policy of 'no attendance, no award' so if the actor isn't present at the ceremony, no award'll be given.

i heard they inform them beforehand if they are going to win. jo in sung 's case was different,he came but was offered a kid's award, even though he is an A list actor,Korea netizens were mad as hell cos of that. same applies to kim jae joong,in triangle(he carried that drama) and he didnt come cos he was not told.

Good Doctor was wow! Joo Won really put 100% into that drama, and he won 4 awards at the 2013 KBS drama awards. He really played that role well!

thank God he won an award cos it would have pissed me off if he didnt. i hate when actors that dont deserve an award are given an award. for example,jo in sung was given a minor award for his role in its okay thats love and the bigger award was given to an actor that doesnt deserve it .even his costar Gong yo jin didnt win any thing. same goes to heirs which won many awards in 2013 though it was one of the crappiest dramas with crappy storyline. Awards should be given to those who deserve it like the likes of joo won and others who work very hard every year.

wow,joo won is a good actor,not every actor can act that. i heard that many actors were offered the role of bridal mask but they all turned it down cos of the martial arts,but joo won accepted the role in order to broaden his acting skill. the guy is a workaholic,he does more than one drama every year,very hardworking. i love bridal mask so much and how he said BINGO in every scene,lol

Looool. I didn't just consider the 'kiss', it was the arrangement. It was cool, stepping out of the car to kiss his gf for LMH, and it was awesome leaning out of the window for a kiss. For dream high kiss.

yeah, the scene was portrayed well,and the funniest part was that his mother was inside the car when he stepped out to kiss her,lol.
