Who remembers the story of Rapunzel? The same one we read in story books and watched in cartoons, in case you don't remember, let me refresh your memory.

Rapunzel was a beautiful girl with incredibly long hair which had magical healing powers. She was raised in captivity by a witch who locked her up on top of a long tower with no doors. The witch used to visit her by climbing up her long hair which was about 70 feet long. A prince stumbled on this secret and started visiting the beautiful girl.

The witch soon finds out and in anger, she cuts off her very long hair and kicks her out of the tower, the prince finds the girl and they live happily ever after.

Rapunzel, was the very first donor of human hair.

Today, hair is more than just a symbol, it is big business. From India to Peru, the human hair trade has spread across the globe.
