I have followed this thread for quite a while now, gained a lot from it and owe a lot to everyone who has contributed here. I recently sat for the GRE and my scores were quite good. It wouldn't have been possible if I didn't get guidance and directions from y'all. I got Q166 V166, analytical scores not out yet, praying for something good (I'm not much of a writer).
I would like to give a brief summary of my studying pattern or experience, I feel I owe it to those yet to take their exams; some may find it useful. I studied for roughly 2.5 months with intensive studying in the last two weeks to the exam. I started with Kaplan, then Manhattan books and finished with the ETS official guides. Each week, I took full-length tests to gauge my level of preparedness (If you have good internet connection, this would be really helpful to develop your own pacing methods). I used the Magoosh vocabulary app and their e-book to learn new words, they were really helpful over a month or so. That's just about all I did.

Please ,I've been using Kaplan 2016 for preparation. My exam is 3rd of November.

Hope its sufficient for preparation, or I should try other books.

Since you still have some time left, it would be nice if you check out Manhattan books and finalize your prep with ETS official books.

I am currently preparing to take the GRE, and I have to say a big thank you to all the contributors on this thread. Y'all have made everything much easier. Now, I have a problem. After studying for approx. 5 weeks, I decided to try out online practice tests. I tried out Manhattan and CrunchPrep as suggested by someone here. I did appreciably well on Manhattan (320+). My quant score for the Crunchprep was highly discouraging, and I am seriously considering scheduling for a later date so that I may prepare further. So, I would like to know if anyone here has taken this Crunchprep test before his actual GRE exam. How does crunchprep quantitative GRE compare to the actual exam? Please I would really appreciate any feedback from anyone as the Second Quantitative on my crunchprep practice was scaringly hard/time consuming......

This is such an informative page. You all are doing a great job. Please I would like to know if anyone here is (or knows) a successful PhD applicant in Queen's University or University of Toronto, and will be willing to give me some important advice and application tips..
